I think that I visited nearly every shop in the Jewellery Quarter in my search for a large princess cut diamond. It soon became apparent that what I was looking for was bespoke and I found Diamond Dealer Direct were by far the most welcoming, helpful and competitive. Raj sourced me several diamonds to view and Gavin assisted me in my selection. Both were extremely knowledgeable and the customer service I received was second to none. I spent several hours over a couple of visits with them, pictures and messages sent via Whatsapp in between, nothing was ever too much trouble. Don’t waste your time anywhere else, if what you are looking for is not in the window, they will make it! Simply ask Raj and your dream will come true!

Compared to many other places around the jewellery quarter i found diamond dealer direct to be the best in terms of service, in terms of pricing they are all pretty much the same give or take a few quid.. so for me the service is what matters most. A non 'pushy' environment which i really liked. I was served by Gavin who was extremely polite, knowledgeable and took a lot of time out to help me on the few visits i had there. I worked with Raj to create my bespoke engagement ring and received nothing short of a stellar customer service from start to finish. I had a very specific vision in mind but this didn't stop DDD from providing me with a variety of options within my budget which shows the wide inventory of stones they have access to. He was professional, very helpful, provided independent objective opinions and went above and beyond when I returned to view stones on multiple occasions. He was also incredibly patient, treated us with respect and was not pushy in the slightest which is one of the main reasons why I chose DDD over other jewellers in the area. The ring itself turned out perfectly and most importantly, exactly how I wanted. It was clear they took the time to listen to exactly how I wanted the ring to look like and took care to create a high quality product which they can be proud of. Can't recommend this place enough. This was the first shop I walked into when looking for an engagement ring and after walking round a dozen other shops nothing compared to the service, quality and choice of rings. They did not try to sell us the most expensive diamond but explained and showed us the difference between different priced diamonds and grades. They are in business to sell however this place shows and and takes pride and take their customers through a special journey, educating and spending time with their customers so they know what they are buying. We were browsing outside in the window and a lady came out and welcomed us inside. We were led over to Raj who immediately made us feel at ease and asked us what we were looking for. Despite the shop being very busy he spent his whole focus on us, he took the time to get to know exactly what we wanted and showed us a large range of diamonds and mounts. Not only did he show us but he also took the time to teach us and explain all about diamond cut, clarity and colour, fluorescence and made the whole sale a very enjoyable experience. Raj is very passionate about his work and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to answer all our questions and was very down to earth. He did not "hard sell" or "scare monger". We had been to several other stores and Raj gave us the best price and the best diamond for our money. We bought the perfect ring to collect the following week. On the way back to the car we stopped off at one last store and I had the worst experience ever, the salesman tried to tell me it was fake platinum, not GIA certified and essentially a scam. Even though the DDD store had closed I phoned them and they told me to come back to the store. Raj and several other colleagues spent a long time reassuring me and putting my worries to rest. There's a lot of competition around and not all of them play fair. I couldn't fault the experience and level of service at DDD and would recommend them to anyone. I'll be returning here to get our wedding bands! Thank you Raj.

My husband and I went to the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham to buy a Ruby Wedding Anniversary ring and went to Diamond Dealer Direct after visiting so many other jewellers. Gavin was brilliant in helping us to find and decide what we wanted. It took approx. 4 weeks to customise the ring and the result was brilliant. I left my engagement ring and eternity ring there to be cleaned and polished, but my eternity ring had two loose stones. Gavin said that they could clean, polish and sort the loose claws for me and it would take about two weeks. As promised my rings came back today as Gavin had said. I was texted first and received the rings by special delivery post. Bought my wife's engagement and wedding rings from here. No hard sell, very patient salesman, we were both very happy indeed with the rings. The salesman focused on finding the right stone and setting for my wife, rather than asking my budget and then pushing to extract the maximum amount of cash (this does seem to happen elsewhere!) There was a minor hiccup with matching the wedding band to the engagement ring that necessitated a few visits, but the staff were keen to resolve the situation and all was fine in the end.

During the process of purchasing an engagement ring i visited multiple stores. Diamond Dealer Direct was the place i chose. I was dealt with by a salesman called Sonu who gave me more information than any other store about diamonds, ring design and what best suited our needs. I felt like i was being taught something rather than sold something, and never felt like i was being pushed to buy anything which i appreciated. After i placed my order, they were on time with the deadline i had and the finished product was beautiful. These employees know their stuff and best of all, they are one of the cheapest places you can go for diamonds due to them being a diamond wholesaler too. I first visited Diamond Dealer Direct in March of 2015 to purchase an engagement ring to propose to my fiancee with. I hadn't really carried out any research and only popped in because I worked in the Jewellery Quarter at the time and it was the first shop I came across. I'm glad I did, because the service was impeccable. I spent a good hour and a half with Bhav discussing various styles and clarity to narrow down exactly what I thought my fiancee would love. His knowledge and expertise left me feeling confident in my choice and my fiancee said yes and loved the ring when I proposed! I hadn't quite got the size right so we returned after the proposal to get the ring resized, and again, the service was excellent and they even waived the resizing charge. Our wedding is in September of this year so we recently returned again to choose our wedding bands. This time, we were served by Lauren who was as equally personable and knowledgeable as Bhav. We left again feeling happy with our choice and pleased with the service. I would highly recommend using them, I certainly plan to use them again.

I was recommended to visit Diamond Dealer Direct by a colleague who had just recently bought an engagement ring for his future fiancee. As I was planning a proposal I made contact via email to arrange an appointment which was quickly followed up by the Sales Manager Liam. On visiting the shop, Liam was very quick to put me at ease and he patiently explained why Diamond Dealer Direct was the best place to buy an engagement ring. He stressed that if the ring was not suitable or, my proposal of marriage was declined then an exchange or a refund would not be a problem. I must have asked Liam every question in the book and 3 hours later I was a happy man, confident in the knowledge that I had bought a beautiful ring and at a very competitive price (I had also done some research before hand on valuations) from a very professional business with fantastic service. Within a week I had my ring, all I needed now was my future wife to say yes. 3 months on with my proposal accepted, my fiancee and I returned to see Liam to have the ring adjusted, nothing was too much problem and in fact we had to get it adjusted again (our fault). On the same day, we chose our wedding rings and I bought my fiancee some beautiful diamond earings for her birthday.
