I'm a fairly new customer, I went in for a quote on a bespoke job that would need a CAD Cam as had heard good things. Very helpful. Later that afternoon I received a phone call from the trade counter to say that I'd accidentally left one of my stones behind. I was impressed with their honesty, it could have been a very expensive mistake for me! I went on to proceed with the job, a very smooth process and my customer is thrilled with her new ring, it was a remodel of her grandmothers engagement ring.
I will definitely be using in the future, keep up the great work guys!

was recommended by a friend, so far so good. The castings here seem to be cleaner than elsewhere if that makes sense

Rob and Georgie are fantastic at the counter really helpful and always going the extra mile to help me! All my casting is now done through Merril because of there customer service and being so efficient at there job and the team in casting including Pam. Will be recommending to others!

I do jewellery as a hobby in my spare time and was recommended to use these chaps. I popped in earlier just to get an idea of who they are and what they do. I didn't need anything but was mightly impressed with the cleanliness and overall ambience. I took away a catalogue and shall be keeping for future reference. I called up in the afternoon to see if I could register for an online account and was also pleased with how my request was dealt with. I won't be a big customer as I am from down in rural Cornwall so will may be order small bits and bobs over the phone.

I use their showroom frequently and have found both staff very helpful who go above and beyond. Large stock of findings and cast items available straight from stock. Unlike other suppliers Hockley Mint have items on display where they can be clearly seen both in brass and real metal, possibly largest range of findings in the trade. They always seem to have what I need in stock whether it be a safety chain, wedding ring or a rex claw they manage to find something to suit, on the odd they haven't been able to help me they have recommended somewhere else that can help. I haven't had that elsewhere which is why I am a repeat customer. I'm not a big customer by any means but I still receive the same service if I am buying a 5p silver jump ring or a £250 platinum mount, service is quick and friendly. These guys also do on site hallmarking and sameday casting which I have found useful in the past. Very personable.

Haven't used this place for possibly 10-12 years when they were in different premises. I was in Brum for the spring fair last month and decided on a flying visit to the jq as I haven't been for a few years. What a change in the whole area. I went to Cooksons as my first port of call as always, but I couldn't get the wedding ring I was after and was pointed in the direction of H.M by the lady in their showroom who said they should be able to help. I never realised they made wedding rings as my previous dealings with them involved purchasing raw castings. This new place is clean, fresh and modern. They have a big range of findings in stock, its like a sweet shop unfortunately I'd already purchased what i needed from around the corner but I shall definitely give them a try for these next time. My main reason for the visit was to try and get a wedding ring which I had trouble getting elsewhere. My customer was very pacific that it had to be 9ct Rose gold and 12.5mm wide. As you can guess, finding one was like looking for dodo eggs. These were my last port of call. I popped in and saw the 2 staff on the counter who told me that it could be done no problem. The young lad popped out the back to find out if this was possible whilst I talked to the young lady about where I was from in Scotland. Two minutes later the lad arrived back and said it could be made within 20 minutes! I was expecting him to say 2 weeks! Anyway I hung around as I had no where else to go and continued my conversation with the young lady about wee bonny Scotland. The ring was engineered as I was waiting, it was just what the doctor ordered. They even offered to hallmark it while I was waiting but I prefer to use my own makers mark. I'm not sure if the service is usually this prompt or whether they were just quiet but top service this time to the pair of you. Georgie even let me pay using Scottish notes 👍

Have been a customer Merrell there sister company who cast some fine Italia pieces for me in large quantity. Didn't realise Hockley Mint was owned the same. Big range items silver and gold have purchased earrings from them and sheet metal, cheap price. Young man on service counter very attractive for Englishman and smell nice also.

Impressed with the amount of findings they keep in stock, I have recently been making a fair bit of red gold jewellery and have found Hockley Mint to have a large range of 9ct Red. I have also purchased St.Christophers from here in the past.
