My fiance and I ordered our wedding rings at Mitchel & Co at the end of June for our elopement wedding last week (7th September), both Deb and Mitch were absolutely brilliant. We had to pop back today to get a ring enlarged by half a size which was no trouble for them and we would recommend this lovely jewellery shop to anyone. Thank you so much to you all. Having been all the way around Hatton Gardens and the Jewellery Quarter we finally happened upon Mitchel & Co. We were helped by Niko, who's positivity and energy won us over even more than the beautiful stones. Now known as our family jeweller, Mitchel & Co are absolutely amazing!! After some unfavourable experiences in other Jewellery Quarter shops, we felt at ease as soon as we stepped into Mitchel & Co. Mitch was really helpful and although they didn’t have what I thought I wanted, he carefully went through the other options with us and was more than happy for us to leave and look elsewhere - so refreshing after being bartered all day by pushy salespeople in other shops! It was in Mitchel & Co that I tried on a ring that I had never even considered and to my complete surprise, it was love at first sight. I went away to think and came back very shortly after, knowing that this was the one! All of their staff were absolutely lovely and it was great to see so many other happy couples in there, who were also being well taken care of and really enjoying their experience. So so pleased with our engagement ring. We travelled from Reading to Birmingham to go to the Jewellery Quarter after we became engaged in lockdown. My other half had promised a proper ring so we decided to give Mitchel & Co a try since it's the highest rated in the area. I have to say I wholeheartedly agree with the reviews. As someone who isn't a massive jewellery person, I was a bit nervous but Ruena greeted us and started showing us rings and made us feel very welcome. She was very professional and patient with us, despite me not being able to make my mind up. We ended up in the end picking a more unique band with diamonds and a sapphire. We returned a month or so later and I genuinely didn't expect the finished product to be even better than the display model. It's so beautiful. Ruena and the rest of the crew at Mitchel & Co couldn't be more professional and we're so glad we travelled all the way -- it was worth it, no doubt in my mind.

'Fantastic' would be one of the many words that I would use to describe our experience with Mitchel and Co. Enjoyable and professional are another two. We had recently become engaged and were looking for the perfect engagement ring that would fit a particular criteria of sapphire. The desired colour we wanted was to be a particular shade of ocean blue and what was ultimately provided by Mitchel and Co met what we were looking for perfectly. We knew that choosing the right ring would take time and so it should be taken into account for people new to looking at engagement rings that a few visits would probably be required. We also did visit other places in the Jewellery Quarter but Mitchel and Co. shone above the others. On our first visit to Mitchel and Co, we noticed that people there were being attentively seen to by various members of staff, and it was Mitch who we had our consultation with. Through our consultation with Mitch, we recieved so much more than an average sales experience and his passion and knowledge on sapphire's was engaging, while the discussions we had were open and relaxed. It was at this time that the desired colour of sapphire was discussed for which Mitch took everything we said into consideration and we arranged a further visit. On the next visit Mitch presented to us a sapphire that was exactly as we described in shape and most impressively, the colour, which was perfect. Further consultation and discussion followed as to the set of the ring and a date for collection, again done very proffesionally and relaxed. What was also taken into account at this stage by Mitch was the accompanying wedding ring in that it should look and sit correctly by the side of the engagement ring. A few weeks passed and we visited Mitchel and Co to collect the engagement ring, and it was nothing short of outstanding. The sapphire looked stunning in the set that had been chosen and the overall ring had been expertly crafted. We were given a few final items of advice for ring care before leaving. Overall we would thoroughly recommend Mitchel and Co for people looking to purchase an engagement ring. Our experience was based on a sapphire engagement ring, but we did see many other people having consultations and purchasing diamond engagement rings for which the staff also had vast knowledge and passion about. Went into pretty much every shop in the Jewellery Quarter and nothing felt perfect, so was beginning to lose hope, until I went into Mitchel & Co. Thought having her engagement ring designed from scratch would be far too expensive, however I was extremely please with the price. Recently returned and had both our wedding bands designed and made here and both times they have been absolutely brilliant! The rings have all been stunning, with constant updates provided to show their progress from initial CAD designs to the finished product. Bhav has been an absolute star both times, providing amazing customer service and ensuring everything was ready on time; despite being in the middle of a pandemic. Our engagement ring shopping experience with Mitchel & Co. was excellent from start to finish. I ordered a ring during coronavirus lockdown. I’d seen a ring I loved but it was in the wrong size and wasn’t easily resized due to the fitting (and was white gold rather than Platinum). Where I’d seen the ring didn’t do bespoke orders so were happy for me to take lots of photos and go elsewhere to try and get it made in my size. I looked up reviews of jewellery quarter businesses and Mitchel and Co came up as very well reviewed. I am so happy I went with them. Having spoken to a few jewellers in this area (Chilterns) and been told it would be very hard to do, given lots of reasons why that wasn’t a sensible ring and pushed towards other designs, Mitchel and co were fresh air and I’ve now got a gorgeous engagement ring exactly as I was after and also at 2/3 the price of the quotes I was getting round here! We did it all over email and the phone between myself and Helen with photos and videos and lots of chats and it worked brilliantly with Helen setting clear expectations throughout and the ring arriving beautifully packaged in the post together with all the paperwork (certificates for the diamonds and receipts and insurance documents). Myself and my girlfriend (now fiancé) wandered around the jewellery quarter not really sure where to go for an engagement ring. We saw Mitchel & Co and we’re immediately impressed with how well presented and professional the store looked. Once inside we were met by Helen and she was amazing from start to finish. She showed us many kinds of rings, of all different designs and prices and explained the specs of diamonds etc. (We even got a little tour in the back where they make the rings and set the diamonds in!!). I settled on a ring while my better half had a coffee in store so the ring I picked was unseen by her. I picked the ring up about 4 weeks later and it was better than expected and looks absolutely amazing. The experience was so professional and friendly we have just returned to purchase wedding rings. Once agin the service was excellent and we left with a smile on our face. All in all I can’t recommend Mitchel & Co highly enough!!

I had almost been out off ordering and buying jewellery from the jewellery quarter after a bad experience with another jewellery company but Mitchel and co changed all that and more! I can not fault the service, care and attention to detail not to mention superb customer service and quality workmanship that we received. All of the staff were friendly and non-pressured. Nico looked after us from start to finish. I knew what I wanted and showed him a photograph and he worked with us, within our budget, using one of the diamonds from an existing ring to create the most stunning ring exactly what I wanted. He was informative so we understood the quality of the diamonds. He listened, advised, cared, was pleasant, made us feel exactly the way you would want to feel when making such a huge and important purchase. An absolute far cry from the service we received elsewhere. They worked within a deadline so I could receive the ring on my birthday arriving just in the nick of time as my husband was delayed with work but they were prepared to open the shop a little longer and were nothing but friendly and welcoming. They advised us to return at least once a year to get the ring serviced so the customer service continues. Well done to Nico and all the team for restoring our faith and providing an absolute first class customer service. Loved the bag and packaging it came in too. The little things really do make a difference. I would recommend to anyone choosing an important piece of jewellery and will certainly recommend to all friends and family.

If you are going to surprise your potential fiancee then this is the shop to visit. I spent ages exploring a number of jewellery shops before visiting Mitchel Co. The staff are great, everything is priced fairly and it was the only shop where I was invited to study the diamonds through a magnifying eyepiece. I spent much time researching both diamonds and the Jewellery Quarter before I visited. For customer service, value and information on the product you are buying I can honestly say that Mitchel & Co were head and shoulders above their competition. Jade immediately put me at ease and explained the whole process to me with the options I could go with using different diamonds - she also has an amazing gift of being able to guess a ring size based on a photo and dress size. One of the things I enjoyed most about the experience is that they work with you to produce the perfect ring and there is no hard sell which I personally found off putting elsewhere. The after service has also been great from collection to taking in my fiancé so that she could get reassurance on the size. My fiancé absolutely loves her ring and is complimented for it on a daily basis. Easily the best service I have ever had for any product I have bought. Thank you Mitchel & Co :)

The ring Mitch made me is absolutely stunning. It’s platinum with a square diamond and so many people ask where it’s from. He even bought it to my finance’s work as he had an event booked for the proposal and time was short. We went back again to get our wedding bands and again received amazing customer service. I recently purchased an engagement ring from this store. From the moment I walked in the store they made me feel welcome(as its always nerve racking when your going to purchase something that you have saved so long for) they sat down with me and designed my ring made me feel comfortable and were very clear with all terminology so I understood that what I wanted was what I was getting. Nothing was too much trouble, and in the end I received a ring that was perfect my fiance loved it and it turned out just how I wanted it too. Unfortunately due to lock down I couldnt pick the ring up so it was securely delivered to me no problems. During its production i was kept up to date with the production process and recieved photos at each stage of it being made, which my fiance loved as it made her realise that this was her bespoke ring. In terms of service to receive this high level from someone who was on furlough at home speaks volume about this company, the only time I have seen service that matches this was in a restaurant in the Bellagio, absolutley outstanding! I was so pleased with my ring and my fiance loves it and whenever people asks she shows them the photos of it being made, they also offer life time care with it, resizing, polishing, cleaning. I found Mitchel & Co via a Google search and made contact to say I was looking to replace my existing wedding, engagement and eternity ring with something bespoke. I knew I wanted rose gold and possibly a brown diamond. Jade came back to me and was very positive that she could help me find the "something different" I was looking for. We talked through options and Jade sourced some brown diamonds for me. I am based in Bristol so photos were emailed to me and I decided although lovely, they were not for me. There was no pressure at all from Jade and she ordered in champagne diamonds as an alternative. She emailed the images and I loved them! An appointment was made and me and my hubby travelled to Birmingham to choose. Jade was fantastic and guided me through various options of ring style to set the diamond in and then helped me choose the wedding and eternity ring. I had a budget in mind for the engagement ring and all 3 came in under that so I was super happy. I received my rings 3 weeks later and I am absolutely thrilled with them. I went to the Jewellery quarter to buy an engagement ring for my fiancée in October 2017. After trying various jewellers I went to Mitchel & Co and was so much more impressed with their knowledge and honesty about what I was actually buying. Niko helped me make the right decision within my price range and explained to me all of the certification systems etc for diamonds (other jewellers in the area do not hold as high standards!). I needed the ring quickly but during the manufacturing process there was a minor issue. Mitchel personally delivered the ring to me in Milton Keynes, it was above and beyond what I expected. Everybody who sees the ring asks where it is from and are amazed at the quality. Today I went back with my fiancée to buy wedding bands. Lauren was extremely helpful in helping us find the style, cut and weight that suited us; both Niko and Mitchel remembered us from before and were very friendly. We ended up with the perfect rings for us. They also cleaned my fiancée's engagement ring while we waited. I cannot recommend Mitchel and Co highly enough - they are very knowledgeable about the products they make and sell, and place a focus on suiting the customers needs. I will never go anywhere else for jewellery!

Mitchel & Co was the first and only shop I had gone to to find my (now) fiancé an engagement ring. I was very nervous but the staff working that day made me feel instantly calm and relaxed with a warm welcome. I was dealt with by the store manager Nik and we went through many different style of bands and diamonds. He patiently waited till I made my final decision. The waiting period between ordering the ring and collecting it was much much shorter than I was expecting. Absolutely the easiest and best place to get an engagement ring in the Jewelry Quarter. Where all of the other shops I visited seemed to either focus on choosing a diamond first, to the complete exclusion of the ring it will go into, or offer a whole array of settings without stones in, making it really hard to visualise the complete piece, Mitchel & Co is set up to demonstrate to you what the complete rings look like, then walk you through selecting the individual components to make the finished product your own. By far and away the best experience I had in any of the shops and I was happy to be able to make a purchase from such a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Subsequently, the after-care has been great. I'm recognised every time I go back (to get our wedding rings, for instance) and treated as more than just another walking wallet. I strongly recommend.

The only con I would say is that when rings were ready, we weren't notified straight away (I had to call up) but as soon as I knew they were ready, I could pick up that day, or get next day recorded delivery. I visited the Quarter and browsed a few shops, each are unique with their own character and service. I then spotted Michel and Co with its distinctive blue colours and modern frontage. I walked through to an airy relaxed showroom with all the engagement rings on show. I was immediately seen to and I started to talk about the process of buying a special engagement ring for my now fiancée. I worked with Luke and Charlotte and I have to say their knowledge and experience is second to none helping me to work with my budget to pick the perfect diamond and setting. No other shop in the Jewellery Quarter went to these lengths to create a special ring. The ring order was placed and I collected it a few weeks later with no problems. If you were in a rush to buy a ring they have some ready to take away today. Overall my experience with Mitchell and Co is one of the most positive experiences I have ever had when shopping especially with something as important as an engagement ring. Not only are they cheaper than the high street - the are more knowledgable and experienced - something I feel you cannot ever get when shopping online. Overall 11/10 absolutely delighted - I will be returning to purchase the wedding bands. Go visit them I promise whole heartedly that you will not be disappointed!

I had an unbelievable experience with Mitchel & Co. I went to purchase an engagement ring and was really short on time as I planned to go away to Berlin within 10 days. I was shown an unbelievable array of beautiful rings. I explained to Helen about my girlfriends likes and dislikes, and I had been show some options I would never usually considered. I wanted to buy one right away but Helen suggested not to rush and that I go away and think about what I wanted. I emailed her colleague Jade who took over guiding me through the process via email and over the phone. Jade has a unique perception on sizing which was novel but actually worked. She let me know what my sizing options were. When I came to collect the ring, I could have felt more at ease with my choice. Being a brummy (but living in London) there was no question I had to buy my ring from the Jewellery Quarter. I think I chose the best shop there. Redo will be back for wedding rings.

Superb service! I visited Mitch and his team to look for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. On arrival we were offered a drink (I brought her sister along for moral support) and he asked for the specification and style that she would like (she had no idea that I was going to ask her to marry me). After reviewing a number of different styles we decided upon a hybrid between 2 existing rings consisting of a top diamond cluster with a scalloped detailed band. Mitch showed us the .5ct diamond he hand selected for the center peice and we agreed it would be perfect. He advised that he would be able to make the ring from scratch in the 3 week timeframe before I had planned to pop the question. I returned 3 weeks later to collect the ring and was not disappointed! The ring looks fantastic and needless to say the future Mrs. Smith said yes!

Not wanting to buy off a high street jeweler, we headed to the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter to look for the engagement ring. We had a number of viewings, but most of the places we went into were tiny, stuffy places with security doors and slightly pushy sales staff. Cannot recommend this shop enough!!! My fiancé loves rose gold so I knew the engagement ring had to be made of the stuff although I was struggling to find rose gold engagement rings as other precious metals seem to be a lot more popular. In the end I got a custom designed rose gold ring with the exact diamond and setting I was looking for, for £600 less than anywhere else I'd seen online. They turned the order around in less than 3 weeks for me at no extra cost (and even made sure the ring was ready 5 days early so that I wouldn't stress). Their customer service is incredible! The ring was slightly too big so we came back to the shop and they resized and cleaned it while we waited in the coffee shop next door FOR FREE! Most importantly my Fiancé adores the ring and everyone comments on how unique it is! I'm definitely coming back here for our wedding bands!!! Local family businesses are always the way to go!

My Fiancé and I were in the market for our wedding bands. We had been to various other retailers in the area and I thought that I needed a certain metal due to the demand and stress that would be placed upon it. Every other shop we visited simply stated they could source said ring, without really asking why I would need it. He also took the time to assess my partners engagment ring and help find a suitable band for her. From walking in, to buying, to going back only a week later to pick up the rings, everything was done professionally and with the upmost care. Customer service is something that has been declining for a while, but not here. It is second to none ! The rings were brilliantly finished and just as described.
