It was our anniversary a few weeks ago and I wanted to treat the other half to something special. We sat down with Jane and went through everything they had, she made us feel at ease from the get go, my partner tried a number of eternity rings on and I just sat and watched the smile on her face as she was guided through the process. The ring was beautiful and they also steamed cleaned her Engagement ring, it was like she had two new rings when we left the shop. The whole day was perfect and one she will never forget. I have been a Charles Fox customer since early 2013 when I traded in my first Rolex, bought in Switzerland, for a Submariner Non Date and I could not recommend them highly enough. Since then I have purchased a number of pieces for myself and family members (with excellent customer service throughout). The Rolex buying/collecting landscape has changed considerably during this timeframe and whilst challenging for all parties to navigate, Charles Fox have managed the situation with regular transparent communications and they have worked very hard to be in a position to supply desired watches within the rules and limitations of the market. It requires a little understanding and patience on the customer side but loyalty and patience are rewarded. I have developed a good relationship with the owners (Simon/Hannah) and they have treated myself and my Mother extremely politely and kindly as well as offering good trade in values for previously purchased watches. I will remain a long standing and low customer!

I cannot speak highly enough of Charles Fox, Simon and his team have looked after us on numerous purchases , both Rolex and Jewellery. In these difficult times many essential and desirable products are taking longer to get. Yes I would like to walk in and buy the exact Rolex I want from stock, but the world doesn’t work like that. They have always managed to supply the items I have been after, sometimes you may have to wait but that is down to supply and demand not Charles Fox. I can only write positive things about Charles Fox. I am a local and loyal customer and have been fortunate enough to purchase a number of Rolex's from them over the years and cannot recommend them enough. I have read a couple of negative comments on the reviews regarding not being able to get allocations of Rolex's but in all honesty Simon and his team only have a limited number of watches allocated to them and this waiting list applies to all. The best things come to those who wait... I would recommend them to anyone for lovely jewellery and time pieces supplied from a friendly and welcoming team.

As an update, I just thought I would comment on some further excellent service from Charles Fox Jewellers. I telephoned to order another Rolex watch (Datejust) and spoke to Hannah. She was extremely helpful and courteous. Indeed, my timepiece arrived within the week. That's what I call service! I visited today to purchase the rather splendid Rolex and was served by Jonathan. He was extremely helpful and professional and did his utmost to make the experience special. The surroundings are elegant and contemporary with a wonderful, old fashioned ambience which all adds to the experience. Hannah went out of her way to say hello to me and I certainly felt a valued customer. Everyone is charming and professional and goes above and beyond with customer service. Took my Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea in to get the diver's link removed, and their watchmaker not only did it for me on-spec, but didn't even charge me for doing so. That's the kind of service missing in most places these days; and guarantees that if I want to make a jewellery purchase in future, Charles Fox will be up there in one of the first I visit. They've also had a very nice re-fit in the past year or so - very elegant looking interior and well laid out.

Were obstructive, but then very good - Please read all revue Decided on a watch, on enquiring in the shop, before I even mentioned the specification, I was told they are only drip fed onto the market and I could not order one! (they had 2 in their window - not necessarily the specification I wanted, but I would have considered them) I know the watches are in short supply, but being told I could not order one was laughable. UPDATE I decided to return incognito and not take up their offer of direct contact. The difference was excellent, although the watch I want is still not available :( , the service level is good, what I woud expect and do recommend

Three stars only due to the professional helpful service of jonathan, however that's where the professionalism ends. I went in to get my gold and steel submariner cleaned, but wanted to put my name down for a deepsea sea dweller too, when the director was asked to consider it he was very short with me telling me that i would need to be as ace customer before he would consider it, then walked off. The sales person i was with thought the director was rude too and apologised on the directors behalf. When i returned to pick up my watch from cleaning it still had a scuff mark on it, i mentioned this to another sales person, jane, and without even looking at it told me there's nothing more they can do as deep scratches don't come out, i told her it's a scuff not a scratch, but she didn't want to know. Not the kind of service i would expect, if it wasn't for Jonathan they'd get one star. They seem to need reminding that they are not the only shop in the world that sells rolex watches. Going to laings in Southampton, they were happy to put me down for the watch i want and were very polite and helpful in explaining the wait to me.
