I can not recommend Marc enough. He was very helpful and let us know all the options when it comes to buying a ring. He is very trustworthy and not forceful at all. When it comes to price he is competitive and he openly talked us through different options and what you pay money for and what qualities to look for in a diamond. Marc was superb! He guided us step by step through the process of buying our engagement ring and spent as long as we needed whilst we narrowed down our search. He explained about diamonds and ring making as we progressed and made it clear we were under no obligation to buy from him if we found something else (despite the 90 mins he had spent helping us). We arrived in The Lanes bewildered by the choice of jewellers in our search for an engagement ring. Having dismissed a few of the hard sell boys we were enticed into Marc's lovely shop by the window display rather than cocky doorstep conversation. Marc and his assistant Ellie could not have been more welcoming, making myself and my partner feel at ease and explained everything we needed to know about the beautiful ring that we were interested in. Despite no hard sales pitch, 15 minutes later purchase was complete and Marc was busy in his on site workshop adjusting the size to perfection. So pleased with the ring, and my wife to be has exactly what she's dreamt of since a child. Happy wife, happy life :)

Choosing an engagement ring can be a bit of a daunting task, but not when you’re with Marc & Ellie, they made it so easy and enjoyable. Marc provided an outstanding experience in ring shopping. My then girlfriend, now fiancée, visited late one Saturday afternoon; nothing was too much trouble. He spend as much time as it took to explain the options and was more than happy to bring in stones without obligation. We revisited a few weeks later and, once again, nothing was too much trouble. At no point did I feel pressured to spend more than was necessary, in fact Marc discouraged me from doing so. I had a sort period in which to collect the ring without my girlfriend's suspicion being raised. Marc rallied to the call and had the ring resized in no time. My fiancée's occupation means she has a serious eye for detail and indeed could pick out poor quality workmanship at several paces; indeed many jewelers were not deemed worth visiting. This was not the case with Marc's work; it was simply outstanding. Asking a someone to marry you is always a nerve-racking experience. Marc made this aspect of it a pleasure; I look forward to buying the wedding rings from him. Many thanks.
