Incredible service from Tommy who is normally in the Service team. I'd always had my heart set on a Rolex, and have been on the waiting list for a long time, but Tommy made some excellent suggestions and was very patient as I dismissed a lot of them until I found the perfect IWC. It was great to have a consultant who is well versed in the mechanics of the watches themselves rather than normally being on the sales side. I ended up driving from Worcestershire back to Cardiff the following weekend to make the purchase, and I couldn't be happier. I'd happily recommend Laings who made the experience feel very personal, but I'd strongly recommend Tommy to anyone who is unsure exactly what they want.

Just bought my first Rolex and it's been a first-class experience from Laings Cardiff. The store has been refurbished in October and it is stunning. Futhermore, the staff are extremely welcoming and very approachable. As such, I've had very pleasant conversions with everyone, including the security guards! I can highly recommend Martin for luxury timepieces. He has really gone the extra mile and ensures I've had a unique experience. He's a real watch collector and enthusiast whom has vast knowledge and experience. We've had many conversion regarding his past collection and it's been a joy to explore his stories over the last few months. I would 100% recommend Laings Cardiff and plan on coming back soon!

Having been on a waiting list for some time for my special watch, I had a pleasant surprise when Joel contacted me. I visited Laings Cardiff to collect my watch and enjoyed a truly memorable experience, from the welcome on entering the showroom right through to final handover. I am a traditionalist and value the presence of independent shops on the high street and the outstanding personal service that I received at Laings from Joel and the team reinforced my views. Cardiff is also a special city for me with many memories, having lived there for several years during my early career and met my wife in the 1980’s, with our ongoing frequent visits. The new Rolex store is amazing and the staff equally so. A very warm welcome from Brian and Katie. Some really nice pieces on display. I have never seen so many models in one place. I purchased a classic stainless steel Datejust and I am very pleased with it. The customer journey with Katie was second to none. Katie took her time and explained everything about the watch and answered all my questions. She made extra time for me despite being rushed off her feet. I walked into Laings Cardiff to check out a specific watch. Sadly, the watch I desire is not readily available but nevertheless, Ryan has made me feel really welcomed by sharing his personal stories and showcasing their entire showroom. His knowledge about watches, brand history and their current collection is also outstanding. I recently visited the store in Cardiff looking for a watch for my partner for a special birthday which was coming up fairly soon. As there are long waiting lists at the moment I didn't expect to be able to do anything more than register an interest. I was dealing with Ashley and Gabby and they were both incredibly helpful. Gabby checked to see what was due in and offered some alternatives that were an even nicer model so I was able to get a watch in time for the big day. When we collected we were talking Ashley about a Spitfire flight I did last year. He slipped off and came back with an IWC Spitfire to look at. Very nearly bought that but I had registered interested in a watch for myself already so decided to wait. Unexpectedly I got a call from Gabby last week and she was able to offer me my perfect watch much earlier than I feared so thank you so much for thinking of me and looking me and my partner so well during both purchases. I couldn't recommend both Gabby and Ashley highly enough. Pop in and see if they can help you too.

Got to give credit where credit is due. Having been using another retailer for a number of years who eventually mistreated me, my expectations were not the highest finding a new retailer proved impossible even with my low expectations, it seemed nobody wanted to take me seriously. A few good friends recommended Laings So I thought I’d give them a try, I was after a watch for my Father as a Christmas gift. I was immediately greeted by Catherine who is absolutely wonderful, a breath of fresh air and an absolute credit to the company, I ended up purchasing a Tag Carrera for my Dad and registered my interest for a few pieces, I have been back to the store several times since with friends and every single time Catherine has just been purely amazing to the point where I have recommended a few of my VIP clients from my profession to deal with Catherine and they have all given the same feedback absolutely incredible, and are now Laings customers. Head office needs to give her a raise! Thank you again Catherine and other Laings team, hopefully see you guys again soon!

Dan was very polite and patient and all the staff from the ladies and charming security staff were all excellent to a fault. Rolex Manager Ryan was really welcoming and explained everything fairly. Went into Laings to have my new watch altered , I was welcomed by Dan Parfitt. Dan went to a great deal of trouble to ensure that I was comfortable with the alteration, nothing was too much trouble . I must say I am thoroughly impressed with Laings and in particular Lauren in the Cardiff store. When looking for an engagement ring, I honestly did not know where to start. But Lauren was outstanding, she was very friendly and professional, going above and beyond to help us. Her explanation of the 4C's of diamonds was brilliant and really showed her expertise and the high level of Laings diamonds. With her help it allowed us to make a far more informed choice, even looking at rings in other stores before returning to Laings. Yesterday, my husband purchased a Jaegar LeCoultre Master Calendar watch from Laings in Cardiff (Previously Parkhouse). He dealt with Martin Bond, who's knowledge of timepieces is amazing and his style & personality is even better, if that is actually possible. Even though the store is undergoing a major refurbishment programme, the experience of buying the watch was fantastic and great fun - he was really looked after. In fact, we have both now purchased various items from this store in the last six months and we have always received great service from a range of staff members.
