Picking an engagement ring is so important to get right. Off the shelf options weren't right for me, so I searched for local jewellery makers to see what options I had. I contacted Neil to enquire about creating a bespoke, utterly unique engagement ring for my fiancée. Neil made the engagement ring design process an extremely special time for us. He provided a token ring for the surprise proposal I had planned - and even replaced it with a second one when my fiancée managed to break the original one through showing it off to so many people! After the proposal, he met with us both multiple times to hear all of our ideas for what the ring could look like, including creating bespoke handwritten drawings and computer models. Throughout this, he suggested incredibly helpful thoughts on how to make our ideas a reality, and asked questions to make sure it was exactly right for us. He took the time to make sure that we felt 100% in control of the design at every stage, and put a huge amount of effort and care into the entire process. My fiancée ended up with a ring that was even more unique and personal to us than I could have imagined. Neil has been absolutely fantastic, so thank you Neil!

Neil is extremely professional and has a high level of customer service. After meeting him in his shop I completely fell at ease as he explained the entire process to me and was extremely friendly. I came across Neil Rayment while researching engagement rings for a surprise proposal and with minimal knowledge of jewelry and gem stones, it can be a very daunting task. After reading a few reddit posts of first hand experiences with Neil and contacting the redditors, he was highly recommended. Neil took the time to help me understand why he selected certain stones and worked to my budget. He explained how each stone was different and what characteristics made them different. He was more than happy to answer all my questions, no matter how many times or silly they may have been, as he knew I was new to the entire process. My Fiancé is extremely happy with her ring and loves that it has a story behind it. We can not recommend Neil enough and if you have the opportunity, I would strongly suggest to giving him a visit.

The amount of time and attention he gave to us was unparalleled, especially in the context of other Jewellers in Cardiff who seem disinterested if you're not spending £1000's. Neil's services were recommended to me after a chance conversation in a doctor's surgery. The lady I chatted to showed me the most beautiful bespoke ring that Neil had designed for her landmark birthday. She also gave a glowing report about his creativity, professionalism and excellent customer service. Neil is an amazing jeweller with very fine talent. I wanted something unique for my wedding day in an anklet and he created the perfect piece. Unfortunately my father passed away so the anklet was my way of having him “walk” me down the aisle. The anklet is beautiful and fits perfectly.
