W.Where do I begin? From the second you securely walk through the door you know you’re in an exceptional jewellers with a truly fantastic team. The bespoke pieces they have on display, show and prove their skill set. Breathtaking quality and craftsmanship! The fine jewellery, passion and knowledge they have makes them incomparable to any other jeweller I’ve used in the UK. Dave (the owner) goes over and above to make you feel welcome, appreciated and respected - he is a very busy man and has made himself late for his next appointment, solely because he wanted to spend a little extra time with me. Don, Maizy and Victoria are all very polite, friendly and more than welcoming too! I can’t thank you all enough for the time you’ve spent with me, the customer care and pleasant company that you so comfortably provide! It’s a real pleasure to shop with you and I can’t recommend you more highly enough!! Bravo guys….keep doing what you’re doing. You have my greatest respect and gratitude. See you again soon!
j. w.I'm not usually one for leaving reviews, however I feel that Emson Haig Colchester deserve one. My wife and I have visited the store a few times now and the service has been exceptional! From our first point of enquiry we have been dealing with Huy and have been so impressed with his knowledge of watches. He spent a good couple of hours of his time talking us through different timepieces and the histories etc. At no point did we feel rushed or unwelcome - our last visit took us past closing time and even this wasn't a problem. Excellent customer service - we have made our first purchases and look forward to returning in the future. Cannot recommend highly enough, we have used other high end jewellers in the past and they did not compare in the slightest. Keep up the good work - we look forward to visiting again very soon :-)

I’ve been a customer at their lakeside branch for a few years and to able to see how far the company has come in just a short time period is admirable. Unlike other watch shops I have been in, Emson Haig from start to finish have always been enthusiastic towards both their customers and products. Me and my partner attended and tried on numerous watch models and spoke about watches for hours. Nothing was a problem and there was zero feeling of being made unwelcome.

H. R.Had a fantastic experience at Emson Haig Colchester branch yesterday. Having bought several watches from their Lakeside store I thought I'd pop in to see what they had to offer. I didn't realise it was appointment only but, fortunately for me, they had a cancellation. I was well looked after by Dave and Victoria throughout and ended up spending about 3 hours in there. I wasn't sure if I was going to buy anything but ended up leaving with a brilliant watch that I'm very happy with. I first visited the new Colchester store when it opened in April 2022, and many times since. Every time is warm, professional and welcoming.
My first experience was dealing with the ultimate professional general manager, Dan Drake. Dan is very personable and professional. He understood my needs and acted on them immediately.
I have also had the pleasure of dealing with Dave, Victoria, Finola and Maizie. All of which, are utterly amazing.
In fact every member of staff, from the security staff to the MD are lovely!
Not only have I had the pleasure of buying from them, they have restored some jewellery for me to an ultimate and unbelievable level.
My gran’s engagement ring which is 90 years old, looks like it was purchased yesterday, since it’s been in for restoration with them.
It is not just a fancy Rolex showroom, Emson Haig are professional and exquisite high level jewellers, which are in-house and in Colchester.
I cannot recommend them high enough. Either for a new Rolex, Chopard or Tudor watch or exquisite jewellery or restoration/adjustment work to existing jewellery.
Well done Rolex for giving a much deserved company a franchise in the new City of Colchester! And well done to Emson Haig for an utterly professional experience!
I have personally had dealings with the other most “local” Rolex AD’s. Which has been disappointing to say the least.
Since Emson Haig opened I have recommended a lot of people to them (who have had equally good service as me), as I truly believe Emson Haig is THE place to buy a Rolex or fine jewellery from.
