I was recommended Cresta Gems Derby by a family member and they didn't disappoint! They took two gold rings from our family and reworked them into two new wedding rings for myself and my fiancé. The service was excellent and quick. The couple that work there were lovely and friendly both times I went in and the price was much more reasonable than other places I looked for quotes. Also, when I asked questions they were very knowledgeable with a depth of experience. I would definitely recommend!!

We visited at the recommendation of a friend, and were not disappointed. We had an idea what we wanted, but wasn't sure. It's like an Aladdin's cave, the couple who run it couldn't have been any more helpful, and we were pleasently surprised by the price. Their knowledge of their trade was amazing, and they were so very helpful. I'd challenge anyone to go in there and walk out with nothing.....thank you so very much for your help and inspiration.

Jewellery repair and cleaning. Dropped 3 platinum rings off for cleaning/polishing and mine needed reshaping and a new diamond fitting. I had left it a bit late as I wanted them cleaned and repaired before my wedding anniversary a week later. Wendy explained it could be a couple of weeks for the diamond fitting so might not be done in time for my anniversary, but but she would see what she could do. I got a call 4 working days later to say all done and ready for collection, well in advance of my anniversary. Great service and good price. Highly recommended.

Exceptional service. Many years ago, Cresta Gems made up my Wedding Ring from many old items of gold that replaced the one I lost in Scotland. Great service. I have not been well for the past few months and lost a lot of weight. So I went to see if they could provide a temporary fix until I put it back on. But unfortunately they did not have the size, but said I could have it reduced without loss of gold, so decided it was worth doing properly. Only having to wait 30 mins for the work to be done (and it was a Saturday) the work done was fantastic and the ring looked like new when collected. I would recommend Cresta Gems for all bespoke and reasonably priced work. Thank you team.

Had a prong repaired on my engagement ring. They did a good job and it wasn't expensive. It did take four weeks though when I was told it would take 2. I was told they were very busy as they had just reopened (even though I know I was one of the first to bring in jewellery after they reopened) and that the goldsmith had to have a few days off, so the 4 week wait shouldn't be the norm. Also, 3 days after I got it back one of the diamonds fell out. I rang cresta and was told that my guarantee was only for the prong (which is fair enough!) and they told me to bring it in for a price and time estimate. I chose to take it to another jeweler (fearing another long wait) they said that all the crowns for all the stones were loose and that the previous jeweller should ideally have picked up on this and let me know. This may be a one off as I know many people who have had great service and repairs. But I will be wary in the future. ***to clarify*** the ring in question wasn't bought at Cresta and I was warned that the white gold is very soft and prone to breaking. I still wouldn't have expected all the crowns to be so loose after only 3 days.

My husband bought me a beautiful opal & diamond ring for Christmas, the lady helped me choose and was very helpful and patent. The ring was resized for me and ready to collect within the hour. Staff here are friendly at least the one time I went in, my Mum and Nan have both used Cresta in the past and customer service has been fantastic as has the service/item purchased so would recommend. :)
