Have been a customer of CH for many years, usually able to get hold of a watch I might like and generally doing whatever they can to make the buying experience a positive one. From helping draw up designs for customised rings, matching earrings, to limited edition watches nothing has been too much. Not surprised to see Chris mentioned in other reviews, really goes above and beyond for his clients. With Chisholm Hunter the in-store service has always made the difference.

Sadly i went to pick up my watch after having it sent away for a battery, it cost 94.00 and they gave me it back in bubble wrap ? Not exactly top class service. I had taken another watch into laings to be adjusted and they put it in a bag nicely wrapped. Considering the cost of the watch, really a poor show.

I have a really great experience purchasing my Grade Seiko at Chisholm Hunter. My contact (Chris) went above and beyond by holding the watch for me for a few months for me to figure out the logistics. He also included some nice collectibles which makes the deal even better. 5 star customer service! I needed to have my engagement ring cut off due to pregnancy swelling and so I phoned ahead and spoke to Chris who could not have been kinder and told me to pop straight down. He got it off in a less than a minute and gave me great advice on aftercare and when to come back to resize my ring. So impressed with this place and will definitely recommend.

The guy with the long pony tail is the best !! I went on black Friday not sure what I really want but just for the sake of the discounts, he was so patient and showed me my options for my budget and helped me to pick a beautiful set of earrings.....I came the next day and Mollie was so helpful showing me watches for my dad, they both were so patient with me being crazy hesitant, and putting my dad on the camera to pick himself, but at the end I got him a watch he actually likes....and as a bonus the guy with long hair figured I am eligible for tax free...so more money for me!! As a lover of watches I heard this place has a good amount of stock. I looked in the window and this was true they had a lot. So I went in and one the staff members named John came over as he noticed my tattoos and was excited to talk to me about them. We talked about it for about 10 minutes without ever mentioning a watch. After said time he asked if I wanted to try anything? And the next hour and a half was fantastic he let me hold and try on anywatch I liked even tho I said from the start I wasn't here to buy and never once became pushy. Other members of the team got me and my wife a beer and wine for free. Another team member let me try on his own watch as it's hard to get hold off. By the end they thanked me and gave me a bunch of hardback catalogues also for free. I would definitely recommend any watch lover to come here for a chat or to buy. Best shopping experience I've ever received.

Due to the pandemic, all graduation plans for the University of Edinburgh were cancelled.
