I took an old Gold and Amethyst ring to Jude and she breathed new life in to it like nothing else! It’s so beautiful. Jude offers you a personal service, she explains everything and asks for your opinion, that was really important to me. So chuffed with the finished article, thank you very much Jude!

Jude was absolutely wonderful! I had ordered a necklace for my wedding but it needed an alteration. Jude fitted me in the same day to have a look at it, fixed it very quickly, and she didn’t even charge me as it was such a small alteration. She was so kind and fixed it perfectly! Jude converted a ruby and diamond bracelet that had been given to my grandmother for her Ruby wedding anniversary. The bracelet was too small and not to my taste and would have lain unloved and unworn in a drawer but for her. She identified the way of separating the bracelet in a simple manner that gave me drop earrings and a beautiful pendant. I will now be able to enjoy wearing the bracelet “my way”.

Jude offered an amazing experience and enabled us to design our very special engagement ring. With her wealth of knowledge, great craftsmanship and infectious enthusiasm for jewellery design there is no shadow of a doubt that we were in for a good time! We started off by re-using a diamond from family jewellery and put the cost of the excess gold against the cost of the new ring. Jude was incredible at explaining design options, answering many questions and giving advice on all aspects throughout while we mused over different possibilities. The completed ring has us swooning over the gentle curves and white gold which just makes the diamond sing! All for the most reasonable price. We are so grateful and would definitely recommend!

I found Jude through reading other clients reviews. She isa lovely lady with a frank and honest approach to her clients and the work needed. She is very knowledgeable and highly skilled. I left two items of jewellery for repair of differing styles. The work was fantastic. One item a gold three colour rope bracelet has not been off my wife’s wrist since she got it back and that was a month ago. I can recommend Jude without equivocation to anyone thinking of having repair work done and I would go to her for any bespoke jewellery I would be considering in the future

Jude fixed a broken chain on my gold charm bracelet and reshaped and resized a gold bangle. She made a fantastic job of both and they came back beautifully polished and sparkling! Jude cleaned, repaired and resized three rings for me. She was recommended by Lyon and Turnbull auction house, and met me there to discuss the work. She took lots of time to check the pieces, discuss my requirements and to ensure the resizing was done carefully, and did a beautiful job for a very reasonable price, insisting on honouring her quote, even though she ended up having to do more work than anticipated. Her communication was excellent, and her enthusiasm for jewellery and her work is infectious. I feel the previous review can only be a mistake or else malicious, and recommend Jude highly.

Jude refashioned some very worn stones from some old family jewellery for me and created a unique and very special set of earrings and a necklace. She seems to understand very quickly how to make use of each part of what was left of these heirlooms, while simultaneously adding her own unmistakeable modern style to the design. I found her both very approachable and easy to work with, and she quickly fixed a problem that occurred a year after I commissioned the work, even though I now no longer live in Scotland. I also appreciated the friendly and warm jewellery shop in Leith that put me in touch with her. It is amazing in this day and age to have such work available locally and I feel that the people of Leith are lucky to have such a resource.

Jude - thank you once again for your fantastic work on rebuilding Susan’s mum’s engagement ring and of course the re/design and re/build of her ‘wrecked’ engagement and eternity rings. True genius fusing both into one - domestic bliss reigns again...

I had an engagement ring re-sized and Jude did an excellent job. The decrease in 7 sizes was not an easy project as the antique ring had to be re-shaped. I was astonished with the result. Superb.
