Friendly service and lots of good quality jewellery at very competitive prices. My wife bought a Celtic silver chain, with matching bracelet and earrings for £65. Well worth a visit if you're after unusual/unique pieces of jewellery. Went back the day after, and bought another pair of earrings and a bracelet.

Really friendly, helpful service. My teenage daughter wanted one of her granny's bracelets reduced in size and the lovely proprietor gave her as much respectful attention as if she were a big-spending customer. This is the way to win loyal customers and we will certainly use them again and recomend to others.

Don't judge this place by the inauspicious exterior; the quality of the service and the work is second to none. We recently inherited some jewellery that needed a ring resizing and a pair or opal earrings resetting. The ring resizing was done beautifully - not only that, because (we assume) my wife's fingers were warm on the first sizing, the ring was initially resized a fraction too large, so we needed a further very slight reduction in size. This was done with no quibbles at no extra cost, even though it wasn't their fault. We had the earrings done soon after we had the ring resizing - this required a resetting of the opals but, because of the sentimental value, we wanted to keep the original gold, but in modified form. The suggested solution was great, and the result was simply excellent. We gave them to my daughter today as a gift, and she is every bit as delighted with them as we were. So, in my opinion, the quality of the work here is excellent, the customer service is faultless and the prices are extremely good (In all seriousness, I'd say they underprice their work). We'll definitely be back.

Took a vintage ring for repair after attending a different jewllers on rose st and was being messed about by them. I was informed to attend Marshalls for the repair work by a family jewellers in the grass market as they only repaired work they made. Marshalls are Very friendly, i was a little worried the ring wouldn't be fixed in time or if the work needed could be done and I was met with reassurance and the results were brilliant. Quick service, quality work and customer service was great too. Highly recommended Marshalls for repair work!!

Very good service had my engagement ring resized, I Highly reccomend having repairs,resizing etc done here, very professional team and service with a smile,they have a very interesting selection of jewelry in store. This family are so kind and a very reasonable selection of Jewellery. The repairs are second to none . From my Daughters watch problem in another jewellery shop in the town cost of the repair £90 the cost at Marshall a new battery £4 ish . The bargain of the century. I have had repairs done too and I have looked out other things to be repaired soon. I just thought it was time I gave Mr Marshall a online Thank-You.

Excellent! The service was really efficient and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to repair the pin that had broken on my watch clasp in just a couple of minutes and for a very reasonable price too. Would definitely recommend!

I have had many sentimental precious items of jewellery fixed over the years and have always been very happy . I have been looking for things and Marshalls have found them and ordered them to the store for me . I just lost a stone from my ring and know it will look excactly the same when it is fixed ! I don't go anywhere else , they also have a great selection of secondhand jewellery I keep my eye open for charms for a bracelet given to me by my grandmother , there are only a few original charms left on it , but Marshalls always have something.
