The whole process was dealt with sensitively and to the best quality. Extremely happy with the service we received.

A. G.Brilliant family run jewelers. Recently got married and got a Tantalum wedding band which unfortunately was too big - it's a very unusual metal and 3 other jewelers contacted outright refused to even look at resizing this material.
Phoned these guys up and even though at the time they hadn't dealt with it, we arranged an appointment and it was resized within 30 minutes of arriving at extremely fair pricing - turned out it was totally fine to work with and not this alien metal all other jewelers wouldn't even give a chance to.
If you need tantalum ring resizing in Scotland or Glasgow area, this is the place to get in touch with.
They are also resizing my wife's platinum engagement ring and explained due to the diamond shoulders it had to be cut a certain way etc - very knowledgeable and very fair pricing on that too.
Overall can't fault a thing and both of us left the store really happy we found it and will absolutely be using it going forward.

J. V.I lost a diamond out of my grandmothers engagement ring (it’s very old) and I had been putting off fixing it for years because it’s so special to me. I was recommended Jan Allan and I arranged to speak to them about the repair of my ring. They were lovely, they explained it could be replaced and restored but it might take time to get a perfectly match old diamond. I was anxious about leaving it but it was so sad looking it needed fixed. I thought the quote they gave me was also a fair price.
I have just collected it today (about 4 week later) and wow, I can’t believe it’s the same ring. It look stunning I just can’t believe what an amazing job they have done, I’m so grateful and delighted I can wear it again.

Jan Allan Jewellers went above and beyond when they made my engagement ring. From the first consultation right until receiving the finished product they kept us updated. The whole process was exciting, being able to watch my ideas come to life on their computer design programme was fantastic and getting to pick my diamond. Everyone I dealt with was really nice and at no point did I feel pressured or that I couldn’t walk away had I wanted to (thought never crossed my mind). They made my dream ring become reality and for that I will be forever grateful. We will be going back to get our wedding bands custom made also as I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else now. It’s a small shop which makes the whole experience with them feel more personal than walking into any large chain store. I had their full attention during the appointments. They also provided a valuation service which I wouldn’t have even thought of but was required for our insurance.
The whole process was during Covid but they done everything by the guidelines that were in place to ensure we were all kept safe.
If your looking for a special gift or to have a piece of jewellery custom made or remodelled I would highly recommend Jan Allan Jewellers.

I. H.I do not often write reviews but after making a purchase on they're new online site(a pair of dress earings for my wife's Christmas,) I decided it was time I did.
First off, the web site is easy to use with good photos of the jewellery and an easy online purchase process.
Previous to using the web sit, I have made several important purchases from Jan Allan Jewellers, engagement ring, wedding ring, eternity ring, earings, bangles and neckleses.
On each occasion I have found the staff very professional, helpful and welcoming, in they're beautiful shop. It is a very personalised and enjoyable service.
All of my purchases have been of the highest quality as has the service. When buying, there is no pressure placed on the customer as you are allowed to browse, with the staff handy to answer any questions or allow you to view items of interest.
With regard to value, each item I have purchased, has been great value. I have purchased a wide range of items with regard to price. When buying more expensive pieces, after being shown the quality of gem etc, I have found the value offered hard to match.
This is obviously a very positive review but I, honestly, am unable to find fault. I would say, if you intend buying jewellery then you really should consider Jan Allan first.
