K. S.Popped in for a lovely cup of Coffee. It was very quiet and, apart from the owners, we were the only one's there.
The menu looked good and the prices very reasonable. There was also a Children's Menu.

The coffee was great often coffees on smaller cafes can be a real let down.. but not here.oy will be memorable for all the right reasons. However the Chairs where uncomfy... They let the experience down a shame really. This could be a little gem

B.Lovely studio and cafe, we have visited twice to make Christmas Eve plate and gifts with prints and then more recently for pottery painting and lunch on the paint and eat deal which is great value. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours with my daughter...the food is also amazing and they cater for allergies, my daughter is dairy free and she loves the vegan apple and cinnamon flapjack! Can't wait to pop back and pick up our pottery 🤩
P. L.My Mum aged 90 and I had a wonderful morning at China Butterfly. Mum has always wanted to have a go on a potter's wheel. Sarah was excellent. Calm and patient and we both ended up with a useful pot for putting things in! Many thanks. Great coffee and lunch too!

J. W.The painting was good but the service wasn't great, we were never asked once if we wanted a drink, even once we first sat down. The pottery was nice but there was no real price list online which surprised me when there was lots of other content and information online.
k. l.Excellent place to have a go at pottery making, painting and other crafts. Lady who owns it is lovely, very welcoming, friendly and supportive as you create your masterpiece (or disaster in my case !). Great for kids and adults alike and wide selection of crafts to do there or to buy and take home for toddlers upwards. Good value for money and a great rainy day place for a couple of hours.

C. S.Lovely family time painting pottery. After travelling to Liverpool for a hospital appt we decided to see what was around to do with the children after the appt before travelling back home to Cumbria. So glad I came across China Butterfly🦋We all chose a figure to paint from the vast array of choice. Lovely helpful ladies helped us decide our paints and colours. We all had a fab afternoon. Mummy Daddy and children age 6 and 7. Thankyou China Butterfly Pottery Studio🦋. I am sure we will be back. 😀

L. M.Came here with my daughter to paint some Christmas decorations. The choice of items to paint was great and the set up for painting was ideal for little ones and adults. It was very quiet, we were the only ones inc, which isn’t a problem but could do with a radio or some music to break the silence! Unfortunately the little play area for small children was very dirty. The carpet and toys were mucky & dusty which put me off a bit.
