In the run up to Christmas, I contacted DCJ to request a bespoke eternity ring. I dealt with Daniel and Jessica, who both were extremely helpful, and at quite short notice, produced a beautiful eternity ring for my wife. It fits the finger perfectly (being a previous customer, DCJ were able to cross reference with their records and tell me my wife's finger size), and is perfectly compatible with the engagement/wedding rings (they're not standard round bands). Transaction was done completely over email, and couldn't have been simpler. I was happy with the price also.

Daniel is superb! I was struggling to decide on the detail of a diamond pendant for my wife's 50th birthday (and being close to Christmas was told by many big chain jewelers that I had left it too late to arrive by early January). Daniel gave me sound advice, he was sensitive to my budget and the pendant arrived at my house before Christmas. For the first time in years I was ahead of the game in terms of my wife's birthday. The fact that I felt comfortable about spending such a large sum of money (I am a stereotypical Yorkshireman!) really does say a lot about the whole experience. We recently spent a fantastic morning at DC Jewellery actually making my wedding ring! The whole process was absolutely amazing and it was such a special day. We cannot recommend Dan and his whole team highly enough for their excellent, personal and professional service. Everyone we met was very friendly, highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their products. The day was just excellent! We started with a design consultancy looking at all the details of the ring design. We were allowed to take our time and reviewed many ring widths, settings, etc before deciding, which was a lot! We were offered a lot of great advice and it was good to benefit from their design experience. Once the design was decided it was time to head to the jewellery workshop where we would make the ring. We actually started with a piece of platinum and did all heating, cutting, bending, shaping, thinning, lots of filing and polishing ourselves. Working under the excellent guidance of Scott, the master jeweller. He talked us through everything, enthusiastically explaining all the processes and making sure we didn't make any mistakes along the way! Scott was lovely to work with, very patient, good at explaining each process and inspiring confidence. Such fun! Afterwards we also had some diamonds and an emerald set into the stone, this was left to the experts! I am so happy with the finished ring, it looks lovely and is very comfortable to wear and I still can't believe we made it ourselves!! If you're getting married, or have a special celebration and looking for that special ring and unique experience, contact Daniel and book a day that you will never forget and value every time you look at your ring! We went to DC Jewellery to create our own wedding rings and it was an amazing experience. It took 6 hours (with a lunch break) where we started with blocks of gold and by the end of the day they were beautiful rings. I've been after a new eternity ring for some time, and after some research online I stumbled upon DC Jewellery, and I am glad I did! From the moment I walked into my appointment, I knew I was in safe hands. Ema took her time in explaining all the designs and styles as well as showing me an array of suitable diamonds for my budget. She is also an amazing artist and was able to sketch some designs on the spot for me. The selection of diamonds was second to none, and no question was ever too small. We opted to go for a bespoke design, which involved creating a wax sample first in order to ensure I was happy with the final design. It is not often we wrote reviews but felt the service we received was worthy of one. Prior to visiting Daniel Christopher we were quite anguished with the task of finding the right ring and diamond. We recieved a non pressured and concise lesson on diamonds and had a ring created based on the aspects we knew we wanted. The result is stunning and I get almost daily comments on it.

I can't rate our experience buying our wedding jewellery at Daniel Christopher highly enough! Daniel got inside my head, figured out exactly what I wanted and made it even better than I imagined! I was absolutely over the moon with my engagement ring, it's stunning, different , (reasonable) and has received so many lovely compliments! Our meeting was friendly and relaxed and we even sorted our wedding rings at the same time which is another tick on the to do list! Having arrived into London on a Tuesday with a plan to purchase a ring prior to Xmas that I can take with me when I left London (on the Friday) I was perhaps pushing my luck and also showing my in-experience of purchasing engagement rings! However I was lucky enough to happen upon Daniel Christopher Jewellery (actually on advice from an old school friend). In short they were absolutely superb. Daniel himself was in the store when I walked-in and over the course of an hour or so I got to know about his background within the trade and also his fathers (they joint own the company). In fact I got to meet Christopher as he came out to the front of the store wearing the diamond cutting equipment (what you don't see is the whole back area where they workshop etc is). Long story short was that they didn't have quite what I was looking for at the right quality/price point. But Daniel got onto the trading system and managed to source the right stone for me. The next day I returned and he had gone over an above by sourcing other similar stones and having them arrive in store to look at. He had a good selection in line with what I was looking for but also some close to the criteria for me to consider as well, which ultimately was really really useful. There was no up-selling or indeed any pushiness at all. The price was far better than a couple of other options I was looking at, and I had the diamond in front of me. The choice was simple! By the next day I had the perfect diamond in the perfect setting that Scott in the workshop had put together on short notice and I left London with exactly what i was looking for. The price was superb and the service second to none. They gave me total confidence in what I was buying and guided me through the process like true professionals. I returned a month or so later (when back in London) to get the ring re-sized and it was done within a couple of hours all on site.I couldn't recommend the team there more. Well done and keep up the good work!

The reason we chose Daniel Christopher was down to a number of factors: Quality, Price, Transparency, Customer Service and ‘The Feeling’. They are an established company with a rich heritage and this shows in the ring designs they have, but also the quality of the workmanship, which far exceeded many of the shops we visited. They are one of the only jewellers we found in Hatton Garden to publish their prices on their website so you knew exactly what you were getting. We met with Scott, the goldsmith who made my ring and being fussy as I am it was completely bespoke and he absolutely nailed it. I love my ring and will forever. Hands down the best customer service I have ever had, nevermind the finished product which was absolutely perfect. I worked with DC Jewellery over six weeks during a very elaborate Italian proposal and needed the ring crafting in that time. Dan, Scott and the team got to work and kept in very close contact with me, initially explaining everything to do with engagement rings (from carat to finishing touches). From there, we narrowed down the style and shape, working flat out to get it just right. The ring was created with plenty of time to make final amends and, I'm pleased to say, the proposal went absolutely perfectly! This review said it would only take me two minutes; I would definitely not take two minutes to write this review as I am firm believer true and exceptional customer service requires more than 2 minutes of compliments. I could write an essay about my experience with Daniel Christopher Jewellery. I would want to write the entire exprience as it was the best and easiest place we bought our engagement ring and wedding bands from. It's as simple as this: 1. It was quick and convenient to book an appointment. 2. Customer service and knowledge around the products were fantastic and Jessica was always able to tell me what type of ring would suit my hand. I told her I love the Sophie and Leila rings and I walked out with the Mya. Rings do look different once you put them on. So you may actually leave with something else that you didn't look at and was even better. The Sophie and Leila were beautiful but they did not suit me the Mya even to date suits me and is beautiful. 3. We literally got all our rings in 3 hours and my husband now picked his wedding band in less than 5 minutes. Daniel Christopher know there stuff! 4. We got a brilliant deal as we bought 3 rings, which is always important because weddings do cost so much as there's so many different elements to it. 5. All deadlines of when the rings would be ready were met. 6. We absolutely loved our experience and love our rings. 7. Jessica showed us it wasn't just about business there was a lot of care and attention to detail and she gave us honest opinions. It wasn't about getting us to spend more. 8. We would recommend everyone and anyone especially if you want that old school customer service feeling; the feeling of your custom being important. I could not have been more happy with my experience with Dan and the team at DC Jewellery. After spending the best part of a day wandering around Hatton Garden I decided to look online for reviews and found a recommendation to try them. It was the right decision. While they were busy they saw me within 5 minutes and almost immediately I knew I had found the right place. They were informative (unlike most other places I visited) and took their time to talk me through what was important to concentrate on (colour, cut and certification) when purchasing a diamond and where the best places to make sacrifices were. From reading online I knew there were big savings to be made choosing a stone sightly below 1.50ct and while they did not have one in stock one of the staff went out and suddenly appeared with a 1.47ct D colour VS2 clarity Excellent cut GIA which was well within the budget we had told Dan we were working to. No upsale, no pushy sales tactics and a 30 day cooling off period. The selection of ring designs was fantastic and we actually met the goldsmith who would be hand crafting our ring and told her exactly what was important to us. Rather than the 4-6 weeks it took most places to have the ring ready they made it for us in a little over a week and it is truly stunning. My now fiancee can’t keep her eyes off it. DC Jewellery are highly recommended.

Mine and my fiancée's experience of purchasing wedding jewellery with Daniel Christopher was superb from beginning to end. The wonderful and kind lady who assisted us, Zaira, was supremely well-informed and professional, enabling me to select and design a beautiful "Ann" Halo engagement ring - which my fiancée loved!! At no point did I feel coerced into paying more than I was happy to, and I was offered sound and honest advice about the best selection of diamond colour, clarity and size within the confines of my budget. After the proposal, my fiancée and I returned to Daniel Christopher Jewellery to enquire about Wedding bands. On the basis that I had bought the engagement ring from them, we were offered a very generous discount for both rings - mine in Palladium, my fiancées in White Gold to match the engagement ring. Again, we were given nothing but honest and sensible advice. In subsequent weeks, Daniel Christopher re-sized the engagement ring AND even replaced a dislodged (and lost) small diamond from the band of the ring, entirely free of charge. While we were both sadly disappointed by the service we received from start to finish, when notified, Daniel Christoper did everything within his power to be able to address any issues and rectify any faults. We had initially felt like overall staff were a bit dismissive and twice my ring was returned to me with faults. While this was at the time quite distressing at the time, it has now been rectified and although the service itself wasn't one that I would expect, I am happy with the overall finish and appearance of my ring.

We bought my engagement ring from Daniel Christopher and could not have been happier with it. The service and quality were excellent. We were then lucky enough to go and enjoy the “Make Your Own Rings” experience. From the moment we arrived at the shop in the heart of London’s famous Hatton Garden, we were made to feel very welcome by Daniel and the team. We were shown through to the workshop, where we met Scott and Meeri. Scott is a fantastic, attentive and patient teacher. His wealth of experience and passion for his craft is evident. From the initial consultation on the design and style, through to every step of the fabrication process we couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. Meeri was also on hand to give us some words of encouragement as she stealthily snapped some photographs of us at work. The net result of which, we later received on a USB stick with our finished rings - a great, little touch - and something we’ll definitely use as part of the wedding album. To be honest, when we first booked the experience with Daniel and the team, we thought this is going to be a great day, and while we’d get to do a little of the work, but we’d probably be mostly watching. Strap yourselves in! When Daniel Christopher say ‘Make your own rings’ - they absolutely mean in. Expertly guided by Scott, we undertook everything from annealing the metals to polishing them with a rainbow of different polishing compounds. On the way, we did everything in between; rolling, cutting, hammering with a traditional pig skin mallet and of course more than a little filing. With the final coat of polish applied; all that remained was to pop the Champagne cork. We couldn’t recommend the experience highly enough. Neither of us are the crafty type, but getting the unique opportunity to do something like this was truly special. A day well fondly remember for the years to come. We love the engagement ring and wedding bands and will definitely return future.

Buying an engagement ring can be a very daunting experience but Daniel Christopher Jewellery made it more exciting and stress-free than I thought possible. Unlike a lot of shops in Hatton Garden, there is nobody trying to usher you into the store (which is a turn off for me) and I can only assume that anyone visiting does so from word of mouth or reading reviews as there are no rings on display in the windows. Don't let this fool you however as they have a fantastic selection in store. Every staff member was extremely knowledgeable but it was Ema who helped us to pick the ring. After being very patient with us while we chose the style she then explained in detail what to look for when purchasing a diamond. There are quite a few things and it's almost impossible to get all perfect but Ema helped to prioritise which of the Cs were most important. She stuck to our budget and didn't try to convince us to buy something we didn't want. After returning for a resizing the staff were just as friendly and knowledgable as before. I can't recommend Daniel Christopher Jewellery enough, they will make a very special day even better.
