Great experience at this store - Paula, Liam and Alexandra were extremely helpful and friendly. Had researched Farringdons on the internet and so this was the first shop we went to in Hatton Garden. Shopped around the other jewellers in the area but nothing compared with the service we received at Farringdons. Wanted to 'fall in love' with a piece of jewellery and they made this happen! Thanks to Liam and Farringdons for making the engagement ring hunting experience such a good one. A day spent looking in famous Bond Street stores, some traditional jewellers and elsewhere in Hatton Garden had left us cold. Liam welcomed us into Farringdons and was accommodating, knowledgeable and made looking through the rings a pleasant experience. Having got engaged at the beginning of lockdown we were delighted to find a ring spied all those weeks ago on Farringdon's Instagram still glimmering away in the shop window and it quickly won the day. I purchased a Tiffany Eternity Ring for my wife's birthday from Farringdons Jewellery during the January Lockdown and was a little apprehensive of buying this type of item without seeing it. I would highly recommend this fabulous family owned store. Shopping today for an anniversary gift my husband and I were attracted by the beautiful display of vintage rings in the shop window. After careful consideration the ring I finally chose was a gorgeous 1960’s emerald cut diamond ring. The service we received from Liam ( the store manager) during this process was exceptional, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful explaining to us the heritage behind the ring and the diamond as well as the romance that comes with buying a piece of vintage jewellery. We didn’t feel at all rushed and Liam went that extra mile to ensure we were delighted with our purchase. If you are thinking of investing in a piece of vintage jewellery that comes with history then this is your place and it is so lovely to give a beautiful piece of jewellery a new life. Purchased an engagement ring about a year ago, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. More recently, the ring had taken a knock and the fitting had come slightly loose so I took it back to be looked at. Liam, who I had initially purchased the ring from, was again very accommodating. I wouldn’t trust my rings with anyone else!! After searching for my perfect ring Farringdons jewellers delivered! Unlike others we visited they were so helpful and kind and made sure what I left with was my absolute dream ring! When I required a repair they kept in constant contact by email (as I can’t answer my phone at work) sent me photos of progress and reassured me at every step. Although it is really out of my way to take my ring back to Farringdons to be cleaned and I can get this done at any local jeweller I wouldn’t trust anyone else! They are amazing! I recently bought an engagement ring for my now fiance from Farringdons and if you are in the market for antique rings I would HIGHLY recommend them. My fiance absolutely loves the ring and I couldn't be any happier with my experience with them. Liam and the rest of the team were so helpful and friendly from the start. Everything from explaining the different cuts (Old European vs Brilliant vs Old mine), to the history and the varying techniques used to make each beautiful ring. I also appreciated the flexibility Faringdons offer. For example, I initially put a deposit down on a 1930's diamond solitaire ring, but then later switched to an Edwardian 3 stone ring after a change of decision. Being able to do this was a big contributor in my decision to use them for finding my perfect ring. There is so much more quality and craftsmanship involved in antique jewellery and really think you should at least visit Farringdons when buying a ring. You never know, like me, you may fall in love with the romantic history behind these rings. (Note: not the most romantic point but for those who are more price conscious, you don't pay any VAT on antique rings!) Also you should definitely read some of Farringdons' blogs, it's a goldmine (excuse the pun) for learning about antique jewellery.

Story of my (replacement Engagement) 1920 Vintage Ring... My husband and I had visited Farringdons some months back, I had selected a ring, but it was far too small to see if it suited me, the guys in the store were SUPER Friendly and offered to resize for free to ensure it was the right decision. We were due to go back to the branch within 2hrs, but unfortunately we had to head back home to our daughter. We did call to advise the guys and we suggested we would try and get back in a few days, which the store explained was no trouble. 8 months later, as life had become quite busy, the ring had slipped my mind. This time we were passing the store and decided to check again to see if it was still available. How Lucky was I- the ring box( which had been in the window) had accidentally closed and the team weren't able to find, people passing also hadn't been able to view. 10 mins later, I was reunited with the ring and the size was perfect, I wear it everyday and feel so lucky to have found such a gorgeous vintage piece. when buying any item, it should feel special and these guys made that happen, We didn't feel any pressure- which I have done in previous jewellery stores. Highly Recommend!
