I couldn't be happier with the work George has done designing and making my beautiful and unique engagement ring. A number of places couldn't do what we wanted but George made is possible! From start to finish, George Cromar Goldsmiths we’re excellent. Initially, they assisted me with an issue on my fiancées engagement ring which many other jewellers said ‘wasn’t possible’ to help with. Further to this, they organised a time convenient to me (middle of a weekend) to open their store and receive the ring for repair. Full, comprehensive and detailed updates followed from George regarding the work, as well as complete openness regarding likely costs (which were very reasonable, anyways!). I was able to pay quickly, and had the ring posted back to me in an expedited manner. The interactions with George Cromar Goldsmiths has been a genuine demonstration of Best-in-Class customer service. Would highly recommend.

George was recommended to me by a colleague and I’m so glad that he was. I needed to change one of the stones in my engagement ring which used to belong my fiance’s grandmothers. I’d been to one or other jewellers beforehand and they all just seemed to want to chop and change the ring and I felt didn’t really appreciate the sentimental value. George was great to work with, very understanding and provided me with updates all along the way. The CGI images he sent me were great, helping me understand how the new stone would look. As the band was quite thin he also recommended strengthening it but understanding the sentimental value melted down the current band and just added to it which I was much happier with. The final ring is stunning – just what I was hoping for. I’m so happy with it and can’t stop admiring it. Would definitely recommend!
