Contacted Matthew at Hancocks and was provided with outstanding service. I ordered a custom signet ring for my son which was beautifully executed and delivered to us (earlier than expected), international post, on Christmas Eve. We could not have asked for a better surprise. I would highly recommend Hancocks in the Burlington Arcade for excellent service and stunning products!

Buying a diamond ring from abroad requires a lot of trust for the business and the person we talk to. While we were in London, we visited three types of businesses to choose our engagement ring. After comparing the typical diamond brands and a bespoke diamond vendor, we landed on an unused vintage style diamond ring with Hancocks as a result of the quality of the diamond, the engraved setting and everything else incl the shopping experience that makes the ring very very unique. We eventually got the ring via post abroad as we relocated after we visited the shop but the end product we got is exactly what we saw. Hancocks has a very long history and the family that owns the business today is also very knowledgeable and all of them in jewellery business. For couples regardless of age, I would recommend you consider a vintage style ring (some of them are unused) as an option of your engagement ring. Guy is your go to person! For me, it’s definitely a unforgettable experience in London that I can take with me when I am no longer in the country.

My wife and I have been searching for a reputable jewellers for some time to buy an anniversary ring from. We came across so many jewellers out there, many of which were dishonest and overcharge customers for very low-end products (if you know what you're looking for and what the specification should be when buying diamonds, you can very quickly see how poor quality work and products are provided by most jewellers, such as claws not holding diamonds correctly, the use of ready-made settings from China etc). After much research we came across Hancocks, and had the pleasure of meeting Guy Burton. Guy took the time to work with us and our budget, without cutting down on quality, but ensuring we get the very best for what we were to pay. The customer service was nothing but outstanding. We were not forced into a purchase and were even advised to take our time. We learnt that what sets them apart from others is that they carefully select their stones, which in our case the stones we had were not standard cuts (machine cuts) but rather hand-made old mine cuts that increase the natural shine of the stone, due to the way it had been hand-crafted. This we never knew of before, and no other Jeweller we visited over the past few months had such stones and Jewellery that is affordable, yet of such high quality. We regret only not coming across Hancocks sooner. We strongly recommend to buy your Jewellery from this store, as you will be in the safest of hands! Thank you, Guy for all your help, and your time. Hancocks (Guy) were extremely helpful, good practical communication answering questions and they sent out a ring sizer. Guy offered really good advice about the size and shape of the signet ring. Ordering was efficient and straightforward, my ring was made very quickly, again great communication about the ring being ready and arranging delivery ensuring I was available to receive it. Fantastic service from Hancocks and in particular Guy, visited the shop my wife and she loved a 5.46ct vintage solitaire diamond ring, I then contacted Hancocks 2 weeks later to purchase as a surprise for my wife's birthday, Guy arranged the purchase and then Guy personally delivered it to Oxfordshire so my wife would not know, after the initial delighted shock her question was "when did you get that?!" I chose Hancock’s at random from the internet and I chose well. A signet ring belonging to my father had lost its original lapis lazuli stone. We had replaced it, but it lacked its original engraving. My son had offered to have it re-engraved for me. Matthew Raymond was our contact at Hancock’s. He could not have been more helpful or courteous. In spite of having to delay because of lockdown he continued to negotiate with his engraver so that when lockdown ended all was arranged.
