What an honest and trustworthy business! We were quoted a lot of money to have a ring repaired by a local jeweller and it just sounded wrong so we looked around and found the Jewellery Repair Workshop advertising on line, they had good reviews and it sounded like a good option. I've had my engagement ring in because I chipped an emerald which needed replacing and was so pleased with the work I ended up bringing the ring in again for Simon to overhaul the ring building up the worn setting as the ring is 100 years old. so I got some work done by these chaps recently. I gave them 6 rings. there work on 3 of them was very simple and I probably could have gone anywhere to get it done. however the work on the other three rings was very complicated in that the rings were antique and had precious yet easily damaged stones in them. I had asked several other places if they could do the work before coming to the jewellery repair shop and they each told me the same thing: that they'd need to take the stones out to get the work done. I was uncomfortable with this as they are old stones and easy to damage plus they would have to be reset again. however I came here and they came up with a workaround. I got the rings done. they spent their time on them and did the job incredibly well. I couldn't be happier with the work I had done and can't recommend them highly enough.

I can’t recommend these guys enough! Ryan is so professional, kind and helpful. I had two gold necklaces that needed to be repaired and a price request for a ring. It is rare to experience such good customer service. Ryan really took his time, not only to look at the necklaces and give me professional advise but also to have a chat about the jewellery. (it was my grandmothers old jewellery) If you need to get your jewellery repaired or made this is the place to go. I will always recommend to go directly to the goldsmith instead of a jewellery shop. When you go directly to the goldsmith, your jewellery will never leave the room and the price is cheaper.

I knocked a diamond out of my engagement ring, took it the shop I got it from and they quoted me a ludicrous amount - turns out there were also a few other issues, all the diamonds needed to be re-tipped and there some cracks in the band. I found jewellery repair workshop online and used their live chat functionality, from the off they were super responsive and helpful. The finished result is fantastic and I am so pleased. They were able to polish my wedding band and value both rings as well as do all the original repairs for more than half the price I was originally quoted. Can't recommend this place enough! My grandmother gave me a gold ring, in which the stone was chipped. I had a super nice consultation at the workshop and explained I would like the stone replaced. This is a very different place to any other I found when looking for someone to repair my mother's (and now my daughter-in-law's) 1940's engagement ring. Having been unconvinced elsewhere, I felt completely comfortable here, from the first contact. This is a new, high-tech workshop run by highly professional younger jewel-smiths who are also thoroughly nice guys. Simon talked me through a range of options and produced high-resolution images of the ring (instantly sent to me by email for my records) to illustrate. He was very knowledgeable, unpatronising and did not put me under any pressure. I elected for a major re-build, at a price that was less than others had quoted for much less work. The result is outstanding in design and execution, probably better than the original workmanship, and looks beautiful. I recommend them without hesitation.

I am absolutely delighted with all aspects of the service provided by Jewellery Repair Workshop. They repaired a gold bracelet and restrung a pearl necklace for me. Everything was done via email, phone and secure post which in former times I would have been very doubtful about. However, I can vouch that the whole process was totally professional and very secure. The bracelet has been repaired beautifully and I'm so happy to be able to wear it again. Ryan provided a bespoke service throughout and when I wasn't totally happy with the necklace (my fault entirely as I was rather indecisive and vague about what I wanted), I was able to send it back for another restringing, double knotted this time, at no extra cost. I had my engagement ring for 10 years but was unwearable because it had broken in one place and a diamond was missing. So I didn't wear it for over five years. A situation arose where I could afford to get it fixed...finally. Simon at the Jewellery Repair Workshop did a fantastic job. He spotted other damage on the ring that could have resulted in further breakage which could have lead to potential loss of further diamonds. Then he quoted a very competitive price. When. I am so delighted with this jewellery workshop, I just have to do a review. I lost one of the diamonds in my engagement ring, so needed this replaced. My ring is 30 years old and I was also concerned that other diamonds may also become loose. Ryan advised me on the process and gave me a quote for all the possible things they may need to do. When I collected the ring, it looked fabulous. As they also polished it up, it looked new again. As the ring was in good condition, they did not have to do all the work quoted, so they only charged for the work carried out which was considerably less than I expected. I needed some stones set into a ring, and having used Jewellery Repair Workshop before I knew they would make a great job of it. The setting of the stones is executed perfectly and I'm very happy with all of it. Both the work and customer service were excellent. I'm already a repeat customer but I'm sure I will be back again the future. What I really like is that these guys do exactly what they say they are going to do, and do it really well. And they are all so nice to deal with, nothing seems to be too much trouble. Its actually quite a rarity with jewellers, I've used a few over the years, and often their bench people don't take proper care to do what has been asked, or the work is shoddy, or they are not that nice to deal with in general. But Simon and his team really deliver on all fronts, and I'm at the point where, even though its a faff to get things to London, I wouldn't want to trust anyone else more local with my important items.

Used the Jewellery Repair Workshop this morning after speaking with them online a couple of days ago and booking an appointment. I don’t often leave reviews, but I want to for these guys. Both online and in person, they were so genuine, patient, informative, friendly and when I got there, welcoming! I dealt with Ryan who was brilliant. I needed to get my Fiancée’s engagement ring downsized, and brought in one of her old rings as a reference. Despite it being quite a bit smaller, Ryan reassured me of the process and made me feel calm and confident that he could do it; and all he needed was a couple of hours. True to his word, a couple of hours passed and he text me to say it was ready. The ring was nothing short of absolutely perfect. Despite the size transformation it had undergone in that short space of time, there was no evidence it had ever even been touched. The work completed was phenomenal. Not only that, I also noticed that they’d kindly and discreetly, (obviously not wanting to brag!) took the time to reshape and repair my partners old ring, completely free of charge! I took an antique ring to Simon in a state of disrepair, with a split weld on the underside of the setting, the claw and a number of beads needing to be retipped, a loose diamond and in general need of some attention. I had a consultation with Simon where he explained the process and then showed me the issues with the ring. Impressed and delighted both with the service and workmanship. I had a gold charm bracelet given to me by my parents 60 years ago which was of enormous sentimental value. Some ten years ago I lost my signet ring whilst gardening . A few months ago while tieing up tomatoes my wife came across the ring lying in the open !
