Queensmith are simply brilliant. I was recommended by a friend, who in turn was recommended by one of his - and I now recommend all of mine too. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgable and their rings are stunning. Really fantastic service: helpful, knowledgeable and reliable. When we first went in for a consultation we were given good advice utterly without pressure to buy which was refreshing. They provide a great bespoke service that can get you exactly the ring you want. Adele who handled our order was really helpful and communicative. In the end we got exactly the ring we wanted, it is really beautiful and we couldn't be happier. I was also impressed by their office, most of the diamond shops in Hatton Garden have the decor of a minicab office but the Queensmith shop has a very cool futuristic aesthetic.

Incredible service - friendly, no hard sell and professional - highly recommend! We came on Saturday for a wedding ring appointment with Jack - our initial intention was just to get an idea of what we were looking for and had intended to at least look around at options/price before deciding as it was the first appointment. Jack was incredibly patient and did two trips to the other Queensmith branch in our 1 hour appointment to show us what we wanted, his patience, honest and friendly manner was not only reassuring of the quality of service Queensmith provides, but also reassured us we were making the right decision in choice of wedding bands - we came in to see plain platinum bands and ended up choosing gold bands. Although we have yet to receive our rings (approx 5 week lead time), I felt the need to leave a review because the service was truly like no other that we have received in Hatton garden.

Exceptional from start to finish! From choosing the ring with Emily to collection with Laura these guys are faultless. I was given constant updates whilst the ring was in production and they kept it safe for me till the moment was right. Following a recommendation from a friend I booked an appointment with Hearts of London to have an engagement ring made in late 2017. I had a very rough idea in mind, my fiancée loves butterflies and I wanted to somehow incorporate them into the ring. Eddi, who was excellent to deal with, talked me through selecting the diamond - breaking down the various criteria that govern their quality - and came up with a potential design solution to add the butterflies. Once we'd agreed on the idea, Hearts of London generated a 3D image of the ring design for my approval before going ahead with making it. I don't think my fiancée or I could have been any happier with the final outcome. It truly is a work of art in our eyes and I cannot recommend this company highly enough ... from the initial phone conversation to book the appointment, the relaxed and incredibly helpful consultation, the final finished article and even the aftercare when we had to have a slight size adjustment made to it. An all round excellent service. We will certainly be going back here when the time comes to have our wedding rings made!

Even then you could see they were a touch of class compared to a majority of the jewellers in Hatton Garden. No pressure selling, plenty of stock and competitive pricing. Great staff and a real pleasure to deal with. We recently popped back for a resizing and a clean up, now in their fancy new shop. I'm glad to say the same level of service applied, happy to make the adjustments and fulfill the free aftercare for life promise! Eddi and the Queensmith team went ‘above and beyond’ to make our engagement surprise extra special. I spent time researching and visiting jewellers for the ‘perfect ring’ but was immediately impressed with Eddi’s knowledge and ability to provide peace of mind. I had Hearts of London recommended to me by a friend, that was a huge help as apart from some frantic Googling I knew nothing about choosing a diamond. I met with Eddi who was brilliant and made the whole process so easy and enjoyable, clearly an expert in his field he also completely understands the significance of the decisions being made. He completely put me at ease while talking me through the all of the different options, explaining the "4 C's" and how they actually impact the appearance of the diamond and showing me lots of different stones so I could really understand the differences and make an informed choice. He was also able to estimate my fiancée's ring size absolutely perfectly from a photo, a huge relief on the day! The end result is a stunning ring which my fiancée loves. As I had very limited opportunities to get back to the shop to collect it Eddi wasn't around when I picked it up. In his absence the team there took brilliant care of me, admiring the ring, giving me advice on how to get it home and talking through my 'plan' for the proposal. Jack wasn’t at all pushy and was happy to show us the differences in diamonds using all of the scientific equipment available in the meeting room. Not only is it the material and mount, it’s the width of the band and the finish of the clasps that hold the diamond in place. They were happy to post the ring back to me once it was ready. My fiancée found this absolute gem of a shop before proposing. He was overwhelmed with all of the choice in Hatton garden but Stephen made him feel at ease and helped pick out some stones and bands that I would like in advance. Once he proposed he took me back with him to pick my ring. I used to work in a jewellery shop so I was really impressed with the quality of the stones...nothing is below an F colour or S1 clarity in the shop so you know everything they stock is beautiful. Every single person who works here is absolutely fantastic. Very professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable. From start to finish, our experience has been the best example of customer service we have seen in the industry. There have been numerous occasions where they have gone above and beyond, while showcasing at every step a genuine sense of care at such an important moment for us. Recently, we wanted to make a couple design changes to our custom ring and to no surprise, the team executed our wishes to a tee - keeping us well in the loop for the whole process. CAD designs, photos of the ring in progress and expert opinions on every detail you can imagine - shared with us promptly and courteously. In short: 5 star for everything except that there was absolutely no confirmation email or follow up, even after chasing for 3 weeks. More below TL;DR: Fantastic experience and very professional. The store feels as premium as the experience. The goldsmith workshop in-store is particularly lovely and helps uphold the genuine nature of the sales reps. Candid with their fully reasoned recommendations gives a sense of authenticity and ease. Transparent with pricings and advice; they made buying an engagement ring a pleasurable experience and outshone all the other stores in the area. Ring band prices are slightly expensive and diamond prices are competitive, but the experience, information and nature of the store made up for this in my opinion. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because there were no follow up emails or confirmation of deposit etc. Despite chasing 4 times over the course of the 4 week production time.

Outstanding Quality and Service is Second to None! Firstly the service received from Brett (Director) was outstanding. He is very professional, knowledgable and always goes above and beyond. He created a truly unique and dazzling engagement ring for my fiance. It was a very intricate and specific design and the finished ring did not fail to impress. My fiance and I are perfectionists and rather hard to please, but he did an amazing job on the finished product. He later created another two outstanding wedding bands. Aside from an exquisitely crafted engagement ring, you turned what I thought would probably be a stressful and somewhat daunting experience into an enjoyable and memorable one instead. Based on the reviews I had read online, I had high hopes when I visited Hearts of London. Having seen countless reviews mentioning their professional but also friendly and welcoming customer service, to help put my nerves at ease, I deliberately chose to go there first...it turned out that I didn't go anywhere else. I definitely made the right decision! Before getting on to discussing the ring itself, Eddi took the time to get to know me and who I was buying the ring for. He clearly explained how Hearts of London worked and what the overall process would be, and within minutes any nerves of mine had disappeared. Throughout the entire process, whether looking at ring styles or individual diamonds, Eddi conveyed his unquestionable knowledge of the industry and their product in a way that was easy to understand. Not once did I feel rushed, though, having said that, I was surprised that I'd chosen what I thought to be the prefect ring within two and bit hours. I envisaged it taking a lot longer, but the fact that it didn't is simply a testament to the quality of service Hearts of London provide. As for the ring itself, which was ready around a month later, it only exceeded my expectations. Again, when picking up the ring and this time meeting with Laura, the process was never rushed. My partner absolutely loves it and cannot wait to meet those who made it possible when we return to Hearts of London for our wedding bands. If you’re in a hurry, here’s the gist of my review: Hearts of London are excellent and I can’t recommend them enough. Go there. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and won’t be disappointed. Stepping into Hearts of London was a completely different experience from the other dark, stuffy jewellers I looked at in Hatton Garden. The shop itself is bright, open and well-lit and as they make all their rings from scratch, you’re not surrounded by hundreds of ready-made rings waiting to be sold. The first time I went in Brett, the owner, was super friendly and basically just gave me a 20 minute lesson about diamonds, with no hard sale, as I admitted I was just starting to look and didn’t know anything. After that first visit I knew Hearts of London was the right shop and made an appointment to go back. I saw Brett again and with his help, picked out an amazing diamond, and decided on the style, material and setting for my engagement ring. Whilst the ring was being made the communication was excellent and when it was time to collect I was blown away by the stunning piece they’d made. It was better than I’d ever imagined. After I’d popped the question (and she had said yes!) it seemed the obvious choice to go back to Hearts of London for our wedding bands. This time we saw Emily who helped us choose the style and design of our rings, and was so friendly and helpful that my fiancé gave her a hug when we left the shop. Again, whilst the rings were being made communication with the shop was great. When we came to collect them we were seen by Octavian, who like all of the other Hearts of London team, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and just a really nice guy! Of course, the finished rings were absolutely perfect and we were thrilled with them. So that’s it. I’d recommend Hearts of London to anyone without a second thought. The shop is bright and inviting, the staff are all experts and lovely people too, and the jewellery they make is first class.

I work near Hatton Garden so it seemed like the obvious choice to have a wander down when starting my journey in looking for an engagement ring. I found that most of the stores down the road are tired looking shop fronts, kind of like old car showrooms with some people outside attempting to lure you in and promising you a good deal. All in all, I wasn't majorly impressed. Down a side street I pretty much accidentally found Hearts, which looked a bit more modern and upbeat, and thought I may as well give it a try. Best decision I could have made. The store is more like a lab than a showroom, and Eddi and the team were all welcoming and informative from the get go. The journey in choosing an engagement ring was more like an educated consultation process rather than a sales pitch, and I found myself learning about all aspects of what makes each particular diamond so unique and valuable. There was no pushy attitude trying to force a sale on me - it was more a conversation about what I was comfortable in spending and then all the options were laid out on the table for me. They appreciated the fact that the decision process takes time and therefore didn't mind me coming back several times to weigh it all up. There's also the reassurance that we can go back and get everything cleaned and resized whenever we need, without any fuss or extra charges. Where do I start.... I was your typical man stumbling around Hatton Garden looking for an engagement ring and finding the whole experience a living hell. I then looked up the reviews in the area and found Hearts Of London and I'm so thankful I did. From the moment you walk in you get a personal not pushy service which to the person who knows nothing apart from how much they wish to spend is such a relief. I was keen to get a princess cut and she was able to source the perfect diamond for me and in turn produce the most perfect engagement ring which my now fiancée loves! I felt that the honesty SJ and the team showed through recommending how to go about manufacturing my ring was sincere and much appreciated. They decided to initially make the band thin but truthfully said that the band may not support the diamond and put the diamond integrity at risk, so were able to amend small parts to ensure the diamond was secure in the claws whilst not compromising the thickness of the band. Absolutely excellent place I don't usually write reviews but feel this place deserves it. I went to Hatton garden in search for an engagement ring and booked an appointment here up. I arrived early and decided to look around the other jewellers, wish I hadn't as I was left very stressed with how pushy, forceful and desperate they were to try and get a sell to someone who at the time knew very little about diamonds. If you want to get the best diamond I would recommend doing at least a little bit of research on clarity, colour, cut and carat weight. Arriving at Queensmith I was greeted by Emily, who was absolutely fantastic. She slowly and carefully explained the diamond qualities to me and at no time did I feel forced into buying anything. Due to the excellent customer care I received I went ahead with my purchase of a platinum Loren engagement ring and picked it up about a month later. Fast forward a couple of months and I am now engaged and my fiancè has had constant positive remarks about how brilliant her diamond is (mission acomplished). I was so impressed with Queensmith's that we have recently gone back and purchased our wedding bands from them. Although we didn't have an appointment and they were already busy, SJ opened up next door and made us really welcome. We found all the staff to be friendly and welcoming. What can I say about this place. Im laying on my sunbed on my honeymoon admiring our rings we purchased Hearts of London. I stumbled across the website about 6 weeks before I intended to propose. I started to panic that I left it a little late. They invited me in the next day. I spent around 1-2 hrs with the gemologist called Octavian who gave me a crash course in diamonds. At no point did I feel pressured to buy. I was able to make a decision based on sound information given to me. I said exactly the style I was looking for and we narrowed it down. The ring was ready 2 weeks later. When I went to collect I was stunned how perfect it was. Diamonds are GIA certified. At every point you are shown the serial number on the diamond (by microscope) We returned after I gave her the ring for resizing. This was done very swiftly. A year later we returned for our wedding rings again with top service provided. This is establishment is a class act, I wish I had more rings to buy. Will be returning soon for a polish. I can't recommend this place enough. Amazing quality and fantastic staff!

If you are looking for a jeweller that is knowledgeable, competent, professional yet personable in an elegant and special environment, this is the place to go. My fiancé and I went to Queensmiths to design my ring because of all the great reviews and we were not disappointed. This is a second marriage for both of us and we wanted to share in the process of picking the stones and designing my ring together. We also both had precious metals and stones that we wanted to sell or exchange and Brett was so honest and pragmatic about the process. It was wonderful to be able to be forthcoming about what our budget was without anyone trying to ‘upsell’ us; the entire experience was stress free as we never once encountered a ‘hard sell’ technique. Brett spent so much time with us making sure that everything was just right. He did an amazing job teaching us about what to look for in a stone. When we finally had an idea of what we wanted, he had one of his master jewellers come out of the workshop to place the stones we liked in a wax setting on my finger so we could make sure that we were happy with everything before it was made. After we’d finalised choosing stones and a setting we were sent a rendered CAD drawing so that we could see exactly what my ring was going to look like. The Queensmiths storefront is elegant, quiet and classy. Make an appointment, sit down at a table and let them dazzle you with options; this is so much nicer and far more personal than walking around a shop filled with jewellery cases looking at hundreds of rings or being presented with a small selection ‘to suit your budget.’ In our experience there was nothing that Queensmith couldn’t source for us and from start to finish our ring only took about three weeks to complete. The setting itself is classically modern, elegantly refined, and very comfortable to wear; much more so than my old ring of roughly the same size with similar design. I have had so many compliments on my ring and it easily competes (and usually outshines) my friends who have engagement rings from Tiffany, Cartier or DeBeers. I have never been so happy with a piece of jewellery and I will always be able to remember what a special journey it was in getting to design it together with the love of my life. If I could give this review 10 stars I would. I don’t often write reviews online but feel I have to share my experience. From start to finish my experience with HOL has been phenomenal. A colleague suggested Hearts of London and I’m so glad they did. As I walked through the door I was introduced to Eddi Norris, a true professional in every sense of the word. Eddi has years of experience and it’s abundantly obvious. He listened very carefully to what I was looking for and guided me through the whole process with ease. I was looking for a bespoke ring with a distinctive blue sapphire. I had visited many shops within Hatton Garden and felt pressured by hard selling tactics. HOL was the complete opposite - Eddi stressed that this an extremely important purchase and that I should take my time to ensure it was the right one for me. I was initially daunted with the idea of designing a bespoke ring, but by the end of the process I was made to feel like a part of the team. After piecing together a few images and drawings of what I wanted, Eddi and his team got to work and came back with a very detailed CAD drawing within a week. Extremely happy with the drawing the team worked tirelessly to produce the engagement ring within the tight timescale I had provided! The end result was incredible. Outstanding service, I can’t recommend them enough.

I've been meaning to write this review ever since deciding in December 2014 that it was time I made an honest woman of my now wife. The plan was to propose on Christmas day but I hadn't a clue where to get the ring. Having discovered that Hatton Garden was the place to get diamonds I searched trip advisor, the reviews led me to Hearts Of London. I duly rang up and made an appointment with 'Emily'. Being an infrequent visitor to London but with a work meeting scheduled for the 17th December I thought the timing couldn't be better. I assumed that purchase would involve looking at a tray of rings and I would just choose what I could afford. On arrival at Hatton Garden I was somewhat overwhelmed by the sheer number of very similar looking diamond ring selling shops and couldn't help but wonder if I should really start shopping around. As time was pressing I ignored them all and located H.O.L. On meeting (the very patient and helpful) Emily I discovered that each ring is individually made and I needed to select both a diamond and a setting (ring)! I then became familiar with both the nuances of diamond selection and spent a significant time deciding which diamond to go for. Then came the ring selection platinum or white gold? Emily patiently talked me through the pros and cons of each, modelling many different rings along the way. I finally made my choice (platinum) and dropped the bombshell I needed it by the 24th December for the proposal. Although I had chosen a very busy time of year and the ring would normally take longer Emily wasn't phased and after a telephone call managed to get the workshop to pull out the stops and get it made and couriered to my work address by the 24th. I must say I found the whole experience quite enjoyable considering I was parting of the best part of three grand! I would be lying if I didn't say I still harboured a few doubts as I walked back past all those other shops with their sparkly windows as I made my way back to the tube - I needn't have worried. To cut the story short, Emily delivered on her promise the ring came on time and at about 8pm on Christmas day 2014 I became engaged to tearful fiancé. Fast Forward to Nov 2015, wedding ring time, although we intended to go back to H.O.L we started all the usual window shopping at our local jewellers to get ideas - it was at this stage I started to regret platinum - its so expensive! My wife had three diamonds left to her by her Grandad that she wanted to use as they had great sentimental value. So another meeting in London was arranged - this time with great apprehension as I was fairly sure a custom designed ring was going to cost a fortune! With my hand-drawing of the required ring presented to Emily along with the diamonds I closed my eyes and prepared for the worst. Once again I needn't have worried, it is no exaggeration to say that it was about 2/3 of the price of a thinner off-the-shelf ring in high street jewellers and was heavier. I was also made to fit perfectly with the engagement ring. After service We have now had the engagement cleaned twice, once for the wedding and last week when along with the wedding ring we met the friendly and helpful 'Ed' at HOL - each time there has been no charge and a welcome as though we were long lost friends. With after service and value like this Why Go Anywhere else?

I can't recommend Hearts of London highly enough. When I turned up speculatively Eddi patiently took me through the 4 x C's and we looked at some stones and settings. He was absolutely clear and transparent in what Hearts do, compared to other jewellers, and what you're spending your money on. No salesy talk or showing you a £5000 ring and then offering it to you for £1500. I came back a couple of weeks later, picked my GIA certified stone, the setting I wanted it to go into and metal I wanted the band to be in. Eddi and his team needed 4 weeks to do the work and then I went back and picked up the most stunning bespoke engagement ring. The clear leader amongst Hatton Garden jewellers in my view. These guys have a modern and professional approach, with highly knowledgeable staff who are more than willing to go that extra mile if you had something unique planned. For my engagement, I filmed a secret video for my girlfriend documenting the entire proposal process, all the way from asking her parents permission to choosing the ring. The folks at Queensmith were only too happy to help, filming various snippets for the video including clips of the ring being made. If you're daunted by the prospect of looking around 70 different jewellers, save yourself some time and head to Queensmith.

After having chosen a diamond in a different shop I happened to walk by Hearts of London and decided to walk in and compare some prices to make sure I wasn't being ripped off by the other shop. I was a little short of time and as the front of house staff (Hazel if I remember correctly) was checking for an appointment time, Sarah-Jane happened to pop up and offer her time there and then because she had an opening. From that moment on, the customer handling skills and knowledge of the industry were above and beyond most other places I had been to. I actually changed my mind from the other ring I had almost paid for elsewhere to one that SJ had shown me. Their workshop being onsite was also reassuring for me. She guided me through the maze of GIA ratings and had the hardware necessary to show me many examples of settings and finally the GIA number on the stone to put my mind at ease that what I was paying for was actually what I was getting. When I picked up the ring (in three working days!) it was a swift and efficient handover. With the free sizing thrown in (the other place was charging for that) and lifetime cleaning on demand, I really cannot find any faults with the service from Hearts of London. After the proposal we returned with some minor teething issues regarding the claws and this was solved by SJ in the blink of an eye (with help from her ringmaker onsite, Sergei I think). Having read of mixed reviews of Hatton Garden in general for the ring, I was glad I decided to try my luck anyway, because I stumbled across this absolute 'gem' and SJ was the definition of fantastic customer service. These people take you through everything - they listen to what you say is important and adapt choices to suit. I seem to remember the people who make the ring are all very experienced and have worked at some prestigious companies around the world. The shop itself is quite beautiful and a nice place to bring your fiance back to if you get it resized etc. Some other shops in the area are quite grubby in comparison.
