Such beautiful pieces to chose from and they're so quick and efficient at re-sizing and personalising etc. We've always felt really valued as a customer. The price is also really competitive and we've been able to find something we both love that's within budget. We can't recommend this place enough!

Superb service and top quality work. I would highly recommend solitaire jewellers to anyone. I got engaged in December and the ring was a couple of sizes too big, and I wanted it re-sized at very short notice before I went to see family for Christmas. No ask was too small! They fitted me in that afternoon, and re-sized the ring to perfection, and even cleaned it as a complimentary service so it was extra sparkly. Thank you very much - I’ll be back.

Another 5 star review and with good reason. This was the first time that I used Solitaire and I relied upon the other good reviews. I was not disappointed. I asked for a quick repair to a bracelet as it needed to be worn that evening. A much higher quality and permanent repair was agreed and was done incredibly quickly. First class service. I found this jewellers online and saw so many good reviews that I thought I would try them out. I had previously had my rings repaired at a much larger chain of jewellers in Croydon but the diamond fell out after only a week and they refused to guarantee the work. I was told that my eternity ring was beyond repair and the whole band would have to be melted down. After chatting with the very friendly chap at Solitaires I was told that both rings had wear and tear but could be repaired. At a very reasonable cost, and within a week, I have received my rings back and am so pleased. I would highly recommend Solitaire and will be using them again. They were polite, reasonable and highly skilled.

Completely over the moon with my newly repaired engagement ring! A fantastic, friendly, helpful and efficient family run business who clearly take customer care as a main priority. I came across Solitaire by pure coincidence as I'd be looking for somewhere reliable to repair my engagement ring, which was purchased many years ago from a renowned international jewellers, who were unable to make any further repairs due to a fault in the design. Darren overheard me talking about it and politely suggested I popped in to the jewellers - and I'm so glad I did! They managed to repair the ring without having to make any major changes to the design and in keeping with the original style. All within a super quick time frame and at a very reasonable price. I'm so impressed and can't thank and recommend them enough!!

Came in to get my engagement ring resized. Needed it done ideally the same day and didn’t think it was possible but here it was!! They were so helpful and got my ring sorted within a couple of hours. Also cleaned another time of mine. Really lovely people! Thank you!!

What an amazing service! Would 100% recommend you use their services for any repairs. I had a nasty fall on a pavement walkway whilst out jogging and ended up denting and damaging my engagement ring quite badly. I took my ring to Solitaire Jewellers who actually fixed it within just over an hour on the same day. Other places quoted me 4 weeks! They did such an AMAZING job! It looks brand new and they were just so friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be returning for my jewellery needs. THANK YOU for making my day better after a not so good start.

Have been to this jewellers twice about a ring I bought from an antique shop (first to get it resized then a new stone set). I have been buying and dealing with Darren and his family for nearly 10 years now, and I’m writing this review in response to a previous review giving them an unfortunate and untrue 1 star rating. This is a brilliant family run jewellers whom have helped me and provided me with top quality products over the years, everything from engagement rings to diamond earrings and wedding rings. This business is run with integrity and upmost honesty. The service is second to none whether it be repairs or buying products. Top top quality jewellery at affordable prices. Over the years I am pleased to say that I’ve built up a friendship and a solid relationship with this family and that this is based on the service I have received. I won’t go anywhere else now and my advice to anyone reading this is use your local family run jewellers. The quality of Hatton garden is right here on our doorstep.

Had my engagement ring valued and bought both our wedding rings here. Couldn't have dealt with lovelier people who are clearly passionate about jewellery. I wasn't sure what I wanted in a wedding ring and they were so patient with me and provided me with several different options to choose from. Prices were competitive but really you should go for the quality of product and the excellent customer service.

We got our wedding rings from Solitaire. The level of service over a period of months was absolutely fantastic. Not knowing what we wanted, Solitaire ordered in several samples for us to try and were patient and incredibly helpful as we worked out what we wanted. There were many extra details that I don’t think we would have got elsewhere including valuation of our engagement ring, engraving of the wedding rings and cleaning of other jewellery. Friendly, efficient and prompt service, excellent quality. I was looking for a jewellers with a workshop on site (because I wanted to be able to discuss the work with the silversmith): I found Solitaire via Google. I was most impressed and very pleased with all aspects. I was looking for repairs and some changes to an old piece of silverware. The silversmith had no problems agreeing to my requests – but actually suggested some improvements. The quality of the work was excellent and delivered speedily and on time. I found the staff in Solitaire to be friendly, very welcoming and efficient. I shall be back!

I went to Solitaire when I had just started to despair about finding a wedding band I liked. I have a vintage engagement ring so it was difficult to find something to match. The staff (family run and lovely) listened to what I wanted, looked at my engagement ring and then helped me create a band (shaping and etching a plain band so that it became a pair with my ring). I was so confident in their service, they were professional and lovely throughout and also excellent value! My ring is perfect and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding ring or anything else!

I recently visited a branch of major high street jewellers to get a quote to repair my wifes engagement ring which had been cut off her finger at an AE department because of a swollen hand. After several weeks I received a quotation for a "non standard repair" for £534.00. Plus VAT plus a further fee to have the ring re hallmarked as I was told the original hallmark had been damaged on cutting. I found Solitaire using Yellow. They repaired the ring perfectly. For £45.00 inc. Darren the proprietor also informed me the hallmark did not need redoing. If you want excellent service at a fair price use Solitaire. I live near Harrow but have happily travelled to Solitaire in South London to get a further ring and watch bracelet repair.

Repaired my wife's engagement ring as the stone had dropped out due to broken shank ,we thought it was only one shank that had broken but upon inspection it was eight that was broken. The repair is absolutely fantastic it looks like a brand new ring ,not only repaired but cleaned and polished to the highest standard . Had lot of damaged jewellery items for years and had been given ridiculous repair quotes by well known high street jewellers. Took my items to Solitaire on Wednesday and all eight were expertly repaired and ready for collection on Saturday! Amazingly reasonable prices as well. Superb and very friendly service, the best repairs I've seen. An unusual bracelet that was too small for me was extended and it's impossible to see the difference in the links. I highly recommend them and now won't take my jewellery anywhere else. They even make jewellery. So glad I discovered this gem on Penge High Street, of all places!
