Staff are friendly. Service was good. Products are gorgeous. I am little disappointed as I was excited to visit the store and buy some jewelery. However, they had pretty much no stock and everything was being made with a 6-8 week wait. If you're looking to get something made and have time to wait, great store. If you're hoping to buy something and leave with it that day, afraid you're out of luck!

Out of stock. My review of TGF. The pieces that you would be attracted to and want to try are OUT. OF. STOCK. Psychological tactics used to drive sales. The website is coming across like the front of estate agents where they love to show that the good properties have either already been sold or let - just to make the customer feel like they've missed out on a good deal. Bad. Very bad. Some interesting pieces which I'd love to try (and hence the extra star) if only they'd have the item in stock!!!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the great frog jewellery and have several pieces but the revamped grafton street shop just isn't doing it for me. The old shop was amazing with each cabinet groaning with treasures to look at and try on, along with quirky props and a real sense of brand identity and history. the new store is a bit too boutiquey and just doesn't have the stock....I know all TGF jewellery is hand made to order but if I'm spending a lot of money I want to see an example piece first to make sure I like it in the flesh, feel it's weight, see how it sits on the neck or on a finger etc, but on the last time I visited they only had 4 or 5 pendants on display and none of the new pieces (I was hoping to get my hands on the sun/moon pendant and the new collaboration safety pin piece prior to purchase) most cabinets now just have a smattering of rings and it almost feels like a museum so if you are interested in trying on a particular item best call first to see if they have an example to avoid disappointment. Also last time I visited (30th Dec 21) we had to wait outside for nearly 20 minutes as they are limiting customers and not one member of staff acknowledged us, other people in the queue gave up and left, I know keeping staff safe is vital but a smile and a 'we know you're there' would have been nice. It will always be a must visit whenever I'm in Carnaby but for shopping I'll probably be heading East in future to thier other store which is more like the original used to be.

First time visiting this awesome shop, had to go in and have a look after seeing the jewellery through the window, staff were friendly and helpful, prices are steep but then again everting is hand made! Came away with this lovely ring 💀🖤 they even through in a badge and some stickers. Only downside is that they said they wouldn’t make my wisdom tooth into a ring... (which was a ridiculous request anyway). Will definitely come back.

If you love Rock N' Roll, Metal and Silver this is the place for you. There is no other shop like it anywhere in London or even the world (they also have a shop in NYC and LA). The people who work there are super helpful and really down to earth. If you want to have a unique peace of jewlery that is made from 925 silver than you have to hit these guys.

I made an online order for a couple of rings. I received these after 3 weeks, so well within the time stated on the website. The rings are of obvious good quality: they look great, feel nice on the hand and are beautifully crafted objects. By the way, both rings weren't for me ... I'm not some kind of shopping freak: one was for me (the biggest, most expensive one, and the other for my fiancee). The customer service is superb. I received prompt, clear replies from Jess. Very friendly staff, currently due to shop size it's only 1 customer in at a time (obviously fine if 2 or 3 of you in the same group). I visited on Sunday during a short trip to London, the staff are extremely friendly and so helpful, they helped me pick out a ring to compliment the ones I already own and made sure I got the size perfect size. Buying something here is an experience. The staff are polite and eager to help and their jewellery is gorgeous, weighty and solid hand made silver with intricate details. Well worth the price. The first ring size is free so there is no surprise extra charge on the initial ring cost. The rings are very well made and only get better with age in my opinion and will likely last a lifetime.

I was raised hearing stories about the enchanted great frog and the legendary Patterson. Upon moving to London I had to get myself a ring. It’s always such a great experience there are so many lovely designs and a great team to help you select the perfect jewellery. You can tell that the jewellery you get will last years and years. Honestly, the best customer service I have ever received. My own fault to not have discovered them sooner and I missed the cut off for delivery for Christmas - I called the Soho shop today and they managed to source what I wanted and went above and beyond to make sure I received it in time for Christmas. If I had an infinite amount of money, I would buy it all. I have a couple of rings from this gem of a shop and love the majority of pieces on sale, especially the famous skull selection. The interior is fitting to the feel of the product and the staff are always very helpful. The noise coming from the studio downstairs is inspiring (that is where all the magic happens) and the design and quality is high. I have seen people attempt replicas, but you can spot them a mile off, and they are no where near as good as the originals! On visiting the boutique, it is evident as to why they have such a huge cult following of stylish individuals, rockers and bikers alike.

Found this shop online and thought it was worth a visit on a recent trip to London, whilst I was there my partner surprised me by ordering me a ring, it had to be custom made and the staff could not have been friendlier, they were so helpful and courteous. The kept me informed on the progress of my ring and gave me notice of when the ring would be ready so I could make travel plans to pick it up. Fantastic service :)

Great selection of rings, including some of the very special - e.g. Slayer, Iron Maiden and Anthrax. Production times can vary - from few days up to few weeks, if store is busy. Although sometimes finding perfect size of a ring can be tricky depending on type of ring, staff are always willing to resolve any issues to the best of customer service expectations - and some staff members are very knowledgeable in both rings and customer service.

I have a small penchant for skull designs and when I first rolled in to this store I instantly knew this it the place for find the best of them. Although I don't wear a lot of rings or have much of a punkrock look, I can really appreciate how well designed their jewellery is. I love this shop! 30ish yrs ago I had a prosthetic eye ring made-up to the specific eye colour I desired. Much loved and worn over the years. My daughter also has rings from here! Today they are in a temporary position around the corner from the original shop which is currently being rehashed. Still making wonderful unique bespoke Goth/rock'n'roll/biker jewellery. My young 1yr old grandson loved the wee model motorbike out front and dutifully posed for photos. They got some awesome jewellery. Ornate monkey skulls and mahoosive ornate cross as interior decor. Staff are welcoming, friendly, approachable and informative. Interestingly, Soho is named after the hunting cry "so-ho" of huntsmen during Henry 8th's reign as this part of London was then his private hunting grounds.

I first was introduced to this place in the late 80s. Over the years they have made wedding rings and other things for me. It was great to sit and chat with Peter (? my memory's not so good!) a left handed guitarist of considerable skill. I could also see the team doing their creative thing, working on movie prop jewellery, and their own product range. After all these years they are still a creative force, and a friendly bunch too - their London shop in Ganton Street is an Alladin's cave. Go and be amazed....

OK. I confess. I didn't buy anything this time. But I went in because I had forgotten The Great Frog existed. The last time I went there was in the 1980s when they had a shop in Wimbledon when I was going through a short-lived 'wishing I was a goth phase but not having the courage to go the whole hog'. This is when being a goth involved wearing pointy shoes, purple eye shadow, bathing in patchouli oil and listening to Fields Of The Nephilim, not wearing great big platform boots, nose rings and listening to Marilyn bleeding Mansion, or whatever his name is. To be honest, I have a vague memory of going there on a really regular basis and hanging around asking daft questions. They must have been really tolerant at the time. Which is kind of awesome. All this is a rather roundabout way of saying these guys have been around for decades, they are really cool, and you should visit them. Seriously. If you need to get a skull ring or a beautifully made anatomically correct silver heart pendant, this is the only place you should be going.

my first experience of TGF was around 2007, my Aunt and her partner are long time friends of a chap called Patterson. they took me to meet him before dinner, after hours. we went down to the basement and chatted for an hour so and i was amazed by this great shop and this lovely eccentric bloke. i forgot all about it until i started working nearby around a year ago, then wanted to find the shop again and have a look around. The shop has now been passed on a generation, and i believe it is now being run by his son, although i havent met him, and has had a big boost in popularity, opening a branch in NY and LA. ive been in and bought a few things now, including a ring, necklace and bracelet... and im not even a rocker, not all of it is massive skull rings. The staff ooze cool, are all lovely and really helpful and the jewelry itself has been copied many times but if you want that authentic "rack and raawl" silver then this has to be your first port of call, because nothing will have quite that same level of authenticity. Definitely pop by if you are in the market or are in the area and want to see something unique. you wont be disappointed.
