I recently sold some family jewellery here and can honestly say the service was excellent in every way. The owner spent a great deal of time talking me through the value of each item, and the offer I recieved was substantially higher than those made by other businesses in the area. The transaction was managed professionally and with care. I would highly recommend this place to others and will not hesitate to return should I choose to sell items in the future.

Highly recommended, friendly and helpful I visited Cathedral Jewellers today to sell 21 pieces of gold jewellery I no longer wanted, the owner was very friendly and helpful, after evaluating everything in front of me he provided an offer I said i would consider, i then got a second offer from elsewhere in Manchester City Centre just to be sure I was getting a fair price, and was very surprised to be offered £1200 less! (I fully appreciate that gold values can fluctuate day to day and shop to shop, but £1200 in 30 minutes!) I obviously returned to Cathedral Jewellers as you would expect, and completed the sale with the owner who was very happy to oblige and was shocked at my experience at the other jewellers Thank you so much Cathedral Jewellers, who I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to sell any unwanted gold to, for a good, honest price.

I was given my grandma's necklace that she wore everyday after she passed, and the clasp was broken. I came in with it and Jason looked it over, quickly fixed it and gave the clasp to me for free which really made my day and made the necklace that extra bit special. Visited Cathedral Jewellers last week to get an estimate for some Gold Jewellery I had to sell. Having read several positive reviews beforehand I was confident I would be offered a fair amount for my items and on meeting Jason there he did not disappoint, offering me £500 more than I had been offered elsewhere. I accepted this offer from him, was paid cash straight away having the notes all security checked and given a signed receipt. One contented lady ☺ thank you again Jason.

I was looking for a local jeweller to carry out a repair on my wife,s neck chain clasp that she had caught and pulled on her scarf. After looking on line I saw some brilliant reviews for Cathedral Jewellers in the northern quarter in Manchester. I went along and explained the circumstances to the gentleman in the shop. He was really nice and easy to talk to .Very smartly dressed and with an easy smile. I thought I may have to leave it with him but once he looked at it through his magnifying eye glass he went ahead and repaired it at once. I have nothing but praise for this young man and hope that he continues to offer this kind of old fashioned service which is somewhat lacking in other larger retail outlets.

I can't thank you enough. I never got the gentleman's name but he was incredibly helpful far beyond what could be expected. He patiently looked at lots (and I mean lots) of jewellery, to no advantage to himself, identifying materials, answering questions and even providing advice on the best way to sell things. After looking at ready made new and second hand rings at various jewellers in the Lancs/Manchester area I came across Cathedral Jewellers in Manchester centre and after a couple of meetings with Jason decided that wanted them to make a piece for me. I had a gents signet ring made which I'm over the moon with ! It's a good substantial and solid piece (Not hollow backed thats found in most high street jewellery stores) And at almost 12.5 grammes and with my initials engraved on the face it looks absolutely stunning and all at a great price !! It took a couple of months from start to finish. Jason took care of everything from the wax, liaising with the Goldsmith, sizing, Assay office hallmarking and engraving !! For all your Jewellery needs and a great selection of ready made pieces you need look no further than Cathedral Jewellers ! Great prices on watch batteries ( don't pay over the odds for pressure test and seal) and competitive prices on scrap gold too !! Speak with Jason today as he comes highly recommended 😊
