We went into this store recently during a search for wedding rings. The coloured middle aged lady behind the centre counter blew our mind. This was customer service at its very best. Highly knowledgeable and in possession of the unique ability to identify individual customer needs and what product best meets them. The gift of being able to explain industry jargon in layman terms greatly assists the buyer in making the right choice. Did not manage to remember the name unfortunately but this lady definitely deserves a promotion and is a real diamond in between all the gemstones on offer in the store. Highly recommended for jewellery needs.

In the UK, coloured is an out-dated term used to describe people that aren’t white, I accept It has a history of being used predominantly to describe black people, however It has not been considered an accepted term since the mid-twentieth century, I can only assume that your of an age that knows no different, That being said, I have used H. Samuel for the past 40 years & in that time I have been into many of their stores, when I visited the H. Samuel on the Manchester Fort Shopping Centre I must say that in all my years of shopping, this store & its staff stood out over & above the rest, so much so that I have been back a number of times & spent thousands of pounds with them, The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful, and are always willing to share their knowledge when asked, they are never pushy for you to leave or buy anything, On a number of occasions they have brought to my attention to some of the sales they have to offer that I would of otherwise of missed, & I must say they have never let me down.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, some places pish you to buy then rush you out especially during busy periods but felt like we had our own personal jeweller the day we went in. Lots of different watches to choose from and some very nice rings although there wasn't a lot of rings in the selection but it is a small store.

I quite like the jewellery at H. Samuel. To be honest, I've never bought anything for myself here, just gifts for other people. The watches I've bought were great at amazing prices. Unfortunately the rings sizes for women go up to such a size that it didn't fit my friend.

Fantastic service and advice from the whole team when making a very special purchase. Unfortunately the computer system crashed yesterday which meant we had to return to store again today. Absolutely no issue with this as we understand these things are beyond the staff's control. High praise for the three female team members working on 2nd May as whilst experiencing the issue with the computer system, they had to deal with an extremely impatient customer who was knocking on the door despite being advised of the store policy of 2 parties in store due to Covid. We could hear him shouting and becoming abusive towards the staff about how long we were taking, but again this is neither our fault or the stores, he just lacked the understanding needed in these times. There were others behind him I the queue who had no issue. The girls handled this situation very well and remained calm, polite and professional at all times.When we returned on 3rd May to complete our transaction Dave the store manager was great and really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this store to anybody based on the staff and service alone.

This branch offers such excellent service, we couldn't be happier! Gaynor was so amazing in helping us find a ring for our 5-year anniversary, she was incredibly helpful and patient. We left the store having found the perfect fit ring! She is the absolute best and catered to our needs, nothing was too much trouble. When we returned to the branch on a different day, Dave was also extremely helpful and provided us great service with a smile.. We will always come back to this branch with great pleasure, and would strongly recommend it for customer service!

Felt compelled to write a review after what I witnessed today. Was waiting patiently in the line and saw a man at the front of the queue berating and shouting at the lady who was doing her job wonderfully may I add. She remained polite throughout and handled him with class. He was bonderline abusing her a GROWN MAN and she looked under 18 so he was shouting at a child. Disgusting. Hope the young lady is rewarded for being patient and still serving him even though he didnt deserve it.

Just returned from H. Samuel at The Fort, Cheetham Hill Manchester. We called in to see if they could match a diamond stud earring that we had lost and had been purchased as a pair over 10 years ago. Although there was no exact match in store, both Dave and Kerry spent some time with us to explore other options, including having one earring custom made.
