C. :.We decided on a “create your own engagement ring” concept which is how I came across Quality Diamonds. After browsing the website I was able to choose the type of stones I’d like to
to see in person. I visited the show room in Milton Keynes and dealt with Raymond (who was brilliant, just like the other reviews have said) He had ordered various round cut diamonds of different colours, clarity and carat sizes so I could compare and decide. All of the settings available are there to try on as they’ve been mocked up in CZ, which was very helpful. Settled on a excellent cut 1.7 carat J colour VS1 clarity round diamond on the dainty Milena diamond band setting in white gold. Was told to expect to wait around 3 weeks for the ring to be put together. It was available for collection after 9 days, which was great! I’m over the moon with it! The biggest eye opener is how minuscule the difference is between say D colour to a J colour if the clarity and cut are good. This can definitely save you a few pennies, yet the ring still looks very impressive. Will definitely be coming back for the wedding bands after such a positive experience.

After looking around most of the high street retailers in Northampton and Milton Keyes we had been unable to find an engagement ring that was the style we wanted at a price we could afford. The stores did not seem to have a great selection of diamonds, and to me anyway, that was the most important bit.
We visited Quality Diamonds and were both very pleased with the service we received. I then went back to visit Paul on my own to chat through some ideas for my Fiancés ring. We managed to find a beautiful stone that was on budget and find the type of six claw setting that I had been searching for. I originally opted for a palladium setting, but then chose a platinum instead so we could get the finish I wanted.
The ring was very well received when I proposed, and I must say the more I look at it the more pleased I am with what was chosen. I would certainly recommend Quality Diamonds to anyone; I have no doubt that a high street jeweller would be charging nearly double what I paid for the stone and setting.
