Purchased a lovely Tudor watch from Eldon Square Goldsmiths shop. My wife and I were extremely well looked after by Kamal who was fantastic. A true gentleman who knew his watches inside and out. No pressure sales tactics.. just honest, helpful advice given from beginning to end. The whole experience was First Class. He really knows his stuff and goes the extra mile in order to make the customer feel special. He is also very generous with the coffee! A true professional in every sense of the word. Kamal showed a real interest in ME as a customer, chatting away about wine, cycling, staycations and family amongst other common interests. We actual had such a pleasant and warming experience I nearly forgot I had a train to catch back home! This kind of service is above & beyond what I have found at other Jewellers and in all honesty market leading. The training, expertise , and personal understand of the Rolex brand and my specific OP41 timepiece I bought really did shine through. I have my heart set on another one this summer and I certainly won’t be going to anywhere else except Kamal and the team at Goldsmiths Newcastle (Eldon square) to source it for me. On a side note I would also like to call out the store manager David and also Terry who also had a friendly chat with me. First made contact with the store regarding a Rolex watch in the middle of 2020. Was replied to straight away by Kamal and was told he’d be in contact if and when the watch became available. Was contacted towards the end of the year regarding the watch becoming available and have since purchased 3 watches from Kamal. Bought my first decent watch from these yesterday, everything from start to finish was great. Although I'm not usually seen in jewellers etc, and felt out of my comfort zone, I was greeted with a lovely coffee and seated whilst as many watches i wanted to try where brought to the table. Booked an appointment with Goldsmiths Eldon Square branch to have a look at a SMPc 42mm and to book my wife's watch for service. Met up Richard who looked after me that day. Really knowledgeable with the Seamasters and very patient when I was trying out the watch. No forced selling I should say and even let me try the BB58 in black they have in-store. I was eyeing as well the BB58 but in blue. Took my wife's watch of me and after a couple of weeks, got the watch in brill condition. Great Goldsmiths branch really pleasant experience and David the manager, I have dealt with him before when I bought an Explorer and a Submariner date in the past remembered me and really friendly. Top service and would definitely be loyal to this AD when it comes to purchasing and servicing my watches.

My Mum and I went to Goldsmiths Eldon Square in December to choose a special gift for my 40th Birthday (knowing that another lockdown was inevitable). Pauline made this the most special experience that she possibly could. She was patient, kind, professional and knowledgeable. I left with a beautiful set of diamond earrings and a necklace. Our experience was simply amazing. Your employee Michelle together with my wife had arranged a surprise gift for me. The whole experience was surreal, I had no idea. To be honest I'm still amazed by the whole thing which hasn't yet properly sunk in. Michelle went above and beyond to make this experience perfect for me and my wife. It is truly something we won't ever forget. We can honestly say that it wasn't probably the advertising or other factors that have built our trust in Goldsmiths. We knew who Goldsmiths were before we met Michelle, but the outstanding experience we have had with your employee Michelle is what makes myself and my wife keep coming back to Goldsmiths. A high level service and skill set which we haven’t found before with any major Jewellers or Boutique. One of Michelle's many strengths is that she understands her customers. For example, before Michelle and my wife surprised me with the Rolex we purchased, she showed us some diamond rings which were meant to be a distraction tactic before they presented the watch to me. She selected such stunning pieces that she knew we would like and were perfectly suited to our taste. Credit to her as we ended up purchasing one of those diamond rings for my wife on the same day and that was something we weren’t planning on doing at all. From day one, her professionalism and enthusiasm as well as her ability and capability have shone through. All in all, I can not think of the right superlatives to describe how great Michelle has been. What I can say is that we will keep going back to her because she understands us and we have not experienced this level of outstanding service anywhere else. My humble opinion is that in Michelle you have an employee to be proud of! We love our new purchases and we are extremely thankful.

Having previously purchased a watch from Watches of Switzerland in Heathrow, which is the same company as Goldsmiths, I visited the Eldon Square branch to purchase a different strap. I was served by Kamal who was a fantastic help from start to finish. He took my order and kept me updated along the way whilst it was being processed. When it arrived in stock I saw him again and offered me a drink while I waited for it to be replaced for no extra charge. It was fitted in no time at all.
