My engagement ring broke beyond all repair and so had to be remade. The team here were amazing! They were honest throughout when it came to discussing the issues with my original ring, recreated my ring exactly as my original and were able to put a protective platinum sleeve around my wedding ring so I still have my original ring next to my new engagement ring. They understood the sentimentality behind these rings and were just great at every step. I wouldn't go anywhere else now! Thank you so much!

I popped in to Carolyn Codd Jewellery as the customer service next door was so poor, which was such a shame as I've always brought my jewellery from there. I wanted my grandmother's engagement ring restyled and I didn't know where to start. The lady that served me was just AMAZING! Cannot agree more with other reviews. Once I'd made contact during Covid lockdown via email, the service was impeccable. I wanted to surprise my partner with an engagement ring but had no ideas, Rhianna helped me every step of the way, including educating me on diamonds via facetime, most places you wouldn't trust to part with money without meeting etc, but this was just so right in every way, and the trust worked both ways, as they'd never met me before but made an amazing ring without deposit. The finished article was amazing (and more importantly my partner said yes) and we have since ordered our bespoke wedding rings and wedding jewellery from here. 100% recommend. Thank you so so much

Thank you for all you did. Nothing was too much trouble. Even with all my crazy ideas. From the first meeting when I asked if you could help me to surprise Amy, firstly by try the ring on and secondly sizing her finger, all in a way so she does not know it will be our engagement ring. I have a local business myself; I know using the best independent retailers gets you the quality, service and skills that the big high street shops cannot offer. This is very true in this case. My plan was to ask Amy to marry me on Easter Sunday. Amy had never done an Easter egg hunt before so perfect way ... I thought. Chocolate utopia Nottingham where amazing making me two eggs that fitted inside each other and space for the ring box in side. The inside egg simply said marry me. Only thing I need was a location which I found on the shores of Loch Ness in an Old Monastery converted to self-catering apartments, using the website and google I was able to plan an egg hunt without Amy knowing. Everything went perfectly. But your help did not stop there as I wanted a bespoke wedding ring. Which you took my idea and ran with it. Making the two rings perfectly join with a Celtic knot that joins the two rings to form a heart working across both rings and individually perfectly. You are a true artisan.

Could not be happier with my experience here. Have just had a bespoke wedding ring made from my mums old wedding ring and it's absolutely beautiful. I cannot fault the craftsmanship and it was done in good time before my wedding. They also replated and resized my engagement ring and it looks absolutely brand new! Fantastic jewellers, with a real personal touch. My husband and I both had our wedding rings designed and made and nothing was too much trouble. I didn't know what I wanted or what would work with my engagement ring and Danny sketched a number of options. He was so passionate about what he does that it was contagious. I loved my ring the moment I saw it, even though I was told I could adjust it if it wanted, I didn't want to change a thing its perfect! I've been a customer of Carolyn Codd's for many, many years, this is my go to jewellery shop for any special gifts. I always find something wonderful and unique. The team are fantastic, I cannot recommend them highly enough, they are knowledgeable and make you feel valued, they take the time to make sure you’re completely happy, this could be a with a one off commission or a buying a pair of earrings from the display cabinet. Their specialist repair service is also brilliant, the team did a restoration of my grandmothers engagement ring (90+years old) this was done to a standard well beyond what I'd have imagined possible. Cannot recommend Carolyn Codd highly enough, 5 stars doesn't seem enough for what they've done for us! We've used them multiple times and will continue to. My husband's beloved Dad passed away just after we got engaged, my husband was so close to his Dad and we wanted something special to have him close. We spent time with the incredible Rhianna trying to come up with ideas, maybe getting his ashes put in a stone etc to go in the wedding ring somewhere, instead - she made the incredible suggestion that they drilled into the ring from the inside, creating a hollow as though they were going to put a stone, but instead filled the hole with the ashes themselves and then sealed the top. My husband cherishes this extremely subtle but equally special piece of jewellery that he wears every day. His Dad was also a huge Everton fan and their logo has "nil satis nisi optimum" on it which he had engraved on the inside of his ring and I had the English translation "nothing but the best is good enough" on mine. Later we had my eternity ring made. You can never get just a row of sapphires in an eternity ring but I didn't want diamonds to take away from my diamonds in my engagement ring so of course, we headed straight to Carolyn Codd and Danny and Rhianna were soooo unbelievably patient with me creating my perfect ring. This is now engraved with our daughters name. They are all so helpful, kind, creative, imaginative and patient with spending the time with you that's needed to create the perfect piece for you. Whether it is for a super special piece for yourself or for a gift, honestly, pop in and visit, you'll be so glad you did!

My ring is engraved with a eucalyptus leaf design which Rhianna designed perfectly in keeping with the ideas we had discussed. Their aftercare is second to none too. We have had the best experience with Carolyn Codd! They came with a glowing recommendation from my sister and brother-in-law who had their engagement and wedding bands designed by Carolyn Codd. We chose them for our own without any hesitation. We saw Rhianna who was really friendly and knowledgable. She really took the time to talk through our ideas, tastes and budget. We settled on some lovely rings and even got some great ideas on how to customise them for future anniversaries. Since our wedding we’ve had our rings checked and polished a few times and they always come back sparkling. Incidentally Carolyn Codd has become a bit of a family affair, my mum has also used them to check over the ‘claw’ around her very old and sentimental diamond ring (that my grandfather made) they were really careful with the ring and my mum trusted them due to our great experiences. They are also very honest because no work actually needed doing. Really pleased with them beautiful designs that are thoughtfully and expertly crafted. I was looking for something special when popping the question and the team at Carolyn Codd did not disappoint. Straight after my initial enquiry I knew I had made the right decision. They expertly walked me through design options, managing to turn a rather strange antler request into an absolutely stunning multi stone mount design for the ring. They helped me with material options and stone characteristics for my budget and kept me informed at every step of the manufacturing process. The ring was ready 4 days ahead of schedule and I was absolutely blown away, it was perfect! I even have a fantastic "How it's Made" booklet detailing each step of the ring making process. Post pickup they arranged a resize at no extra cost and provided me with valuation and insurance broker information. I cannot fault the service in anyway and would use them again without a second thought.

We cannot rate Caroline Codd Jewellery high enough. We mainly worked with Rhianna to design my engagement ring and our wedding rings. Unknown to me my now husband also commissioned a necklace and earrings in the same design as my engagement ring with Rhianna (yes, I am a very lucky girl). We appreciated being shown round the workshop and meeting the craft people. We are both totally thrilled with the rings and jewellery. The friendly, knowledgeable and helpful service made the whole experience perfect. If you are wanting a piece of special jewellery designing/making then this really is the place to go. Seriously impressed with the service, incredibly friendly over the phone and each time I went in. I was told it could take up to two weeks, but they phoned me after 5 days to say the repair work was done. Price was very good and the quality of the work was excellent.
