D. O.It is extremely rare for me to write a review on any retailer. However, I felt I had to redress the balance having read a very critical report. My wife, before she died 6 years ago, was a regular customer and, even more frequently, window shopper. Therefore when I decided, at long last, to replace a stone in one of my her rings I did not hesitate to take it to Wray's. My faith was well rewarded. I was given an estimate for the replacement of the stone but I was also advised that it might be necessary to replace all three stones because of the possibility of subsequent differences in appearance. However, when the stone was looked at in the workshop, it was decided that it would only be necessary to replace the one stone as the others were in good condition. I was also warned that if I went ahead with the replacement there was a possibility that it could be lost again in the future because of problems with the setting. The gentleman in Wrays listened to what I wanted and talked me through different options at various prices. I chose to have the gold from both rings melted down and the diamonds placed in a new setting. Today Wrays have delivered my ring to me, it's stunning and I am truly overwhelmed.
