The jury is out on this company. I used them for the first time and bought two sets of earrings. Very pleased with the quality, despite one pair of earrings having the shepherd's hook on the wrong way round (I would have been able to sort that). Unfortunately, my 10x8 cabochons would only fit one of the earrings. The other pair were fine with a 10mm cabochon, one being my own and the other ordered from CM. I intend to make that pair into necklace pendants and I am pleased with them. When I phoned to explain my problem with the 10x8's I was met with almost disbelief that what I was saying couldn't be true! and I explained I couldn't believe that they fitted one of the earrings and not the other (I had four to try). So I was told, as I was obviously unhappy, to return for a refund. I explained that I wanted them for a funeral as I had inherited the stones. No offer of sending out another pair just in case that one earring wasn't quite the right size! I ordered settings for 9x7 stones from CG and they fitted perfectly, so I feel my measuring was accurate. Customer service could be worked on!

My previous review (C Whitcombr) was written in haste and error due entirely to my misunderstanding of emails from Caverswall. So far I am unable to delete that review so I am leaving a correction until I am able to do so. This company produce absolutely beautiful items of sterling silver and I am more than happy to continue to buy from them and to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Phil for such lovely items and apologies for my previous error.
