I have never left a review before but I felt his was very deserved. My husband surprised me by buying me a new engagement ring in Goldsmiths in York for our 30th wedding anniversary. I received exceptional service from Susie who helped me choose my beautiful ring. I then had to wait for delivery and was a bit disappointed as there was a delay. On phoning the branch I again received excellent service from the branch manager who could not have been more helpful. Received today with some little extras from the wonderful staff. Thank you so much.

We visited the store whilst on a 2 night break in the City, simply popping in to see what wedding rings were available. Our wedding isn’t until 2023 so there was no urgency to purchase the rings, however we did! The staff at the store are a credit to your company! We initially met Andrew on our first visit who was down to earth, easy to talk to, honest in giving his opinion when I asked about certain styles of rings and their suitability as wedding rings. We visited the following day where we were greeted by the wonderful Susi! A lovely lady who is passionate about jewellery, clearly loves her job and was so incredibly helpful and patient as we both chose our wedding rings. We purchased both our rings that day and Susi was nothing but a pleasure to deal with! Honestly though Goldsmiths, if you can keep your current York staff please do! They’re a wonderful bunch of individuals and are a credit to your store! Thank you Susi and Andrew!

These guys are the best! We bought a ring from them at Christmas, and the service was superb. We also had a ring, that wasn't bought from them, resized. What an absolute pleasure it was dealing with all of the staff here. My husband recently bought me a beautiful watch for my 50th birthday. We popped in with the intention of browsing and left with the most perfect gift. Gemma the store manager couldn’t have been any more helpful, from start to finish her knowledge and advise was exceptional. What an all round lovely girl to deal with, bright, bubbly and obviously very, very good at what she does. Every question we asked she answered without hesitation and instilled us with the upmost confidence that we were making the right purchase without any pressure at all. All of the staff were very friendly and chatted with us the whole time we were there and the relationship Gemma has with the staff was also very noticeable. Very respectful to one another, helpful, friendly and all of this with the upmost professionalism Great experience from start to finish, we’ll certainly be back!
