Immaculate vibes!! I absolutely love this place! Not only are the crystals great but David is so lovely and welcoming! I've never felt so comfortable in a shop before either. Its hard to tell but the back 2 biggest crystals are an obsidian ghost and a rose quartz ghost. They're easily my favourite crystals in my whole collection. 10/10 would highly recommend.

probably one of the best crystal shops I have ever been to. the owner was so lovely and talkative and the variety of crystals is crazy. all shapes and sizes for a really good price!! Cant wait to visit again!! :)

This is possibly one of the most welcoming shops I’ve been in! Me and my cousin went in earlier today as we passed and got two beautiful crystal necklaces, I got rose quartz and she got amethyst for only £6 each! The owner made our day by being so nice and genuine, would 100% recommended this shop and I will definitely visit again when I’m back in York :)

My mum and I had a really lovely time at Hidden Treasures! Dave did a tarot reading for us both and he was very accurate. He gave us both a lot of time and did not rush. He is extremely warm and welcoming! The shop is beautiful and has a gorgeous and extensive collection of crystals and gifts. While visiting York, I popped into Hidden Treasures to buy myself a little treat. There are indeed plenty of Hidden Treasures to peruse and the gentleman willingly answered any questions, suggesting stones he thought suitable and even directing me away from a couple that he thought weren't for me. It was a hot day and I was offered water to drink while I made my choices. Benefits of different crystals are cleverly displayed on the walls to help choices. Worth the walk slightly out of the bustling city centre. Recommended.

Visited the shop over the Bank Holiday for the first time, this is definitely my new favourite shop. Lots of stock all at great prices, Dave was very welcoming and at one point even gave my little sister a chair to sit on. Timed my visit perfectly and got a free spiritual reading. Absolutely loved the shop, found it while we were visiting York for the week. David was so welcoming! we will definitely visit next time we are on holiday, an fantastic experience and all around good vibes coming from this shop. It had a wide variety of different crystals and not just all tumbles.

I came here to get my friend a birthday present because she loves crystals but I knew nothing about them 😅 Dave was incredibly helpful and we had a good laugh whilst I decided what I wanted to get. It's also really great that the crystals names and what they do are written on the walls! He even gave me and my friend a copy of his book that he wrote during the lockdown and he signed it! I was just entering the weird and wonderful world of crystals and chakra and I needed somewhere to start. I found David’s store on a whim and fell in love. From the beautiful pieces inside, to the incense to the sheer aura of his store. What an incredible man David is, his kindness is unmatched. My family and I have now visited on multiple occasions and we have all fallen in love. David is one of a kind and his store reflects that. From beginners to those more experienced everyone is welcome in his store and he will provide as much knowledge as he can to help you understand crystals, chakra and SO much more. Could not recommend this place more, every time I am in town I pop in, it’s just so welcoming to wind down and gives you a little break from the otherwise stressful or long day. 100/10 from my family and I 😁😁

✨BEST PLACE EVER.✨ I came to York for a little shopping/historic and I stumbled upon this little shop. And it’s one of the best places to get all sorts of crystals and gadgets from, I’ve been to so many other crystal and treasure shops for my Wiccan hobbies and this wins the ultimate 1st place in my opinion with so much choice and variety. The owner offered me and my 2 other friends a tarot reading which usually costs £25 but he let us know it for free! I’ve never met such a wonderful shop owner in my life, it felt welcoming and happy to be there, it also had a little cafe in the back but I didn’t have time to sit and ponder my thoughts there at all. Overall it still stands, best crystal shop in the whole of England and I stand by that. Elena x

I was visiting York for the day and walked past Hidden Treasures on the way to the train station. As the name suggests, it is a shop full of treasures. My teenager was delighted when I brought home crystals and polished stones. And the prices were much more reasonable than I have seen elsewhere. The owner is friendly and very happy to help and explain his considerable inventory. Thank you very much for such a pleasant shopping experience.

Me and my friend came across this little shop accidentally while we was shopping in York , we aren’t local. The man that works there is very nice and polite, he told us a little bit about the crystals and advised us on what we should buy. He also offers psychic medium readings & hypnosis but you have to book , so he generously did us a free tarot reading each of 3 cards (past, future & present) which were both quite accurate and we both could take the things he said. I would highly recommend!
