Our two sons started at The Haven 2000 full time in Sept 2017, one in Tip toppers when he was 2 and one in preschool when he was 3. They have both been very happy in the setting and we as parents cannot speak highly enough of the all the staff working at this nursery. Our youngest was very nervous at the beginning, as was I, but everybody was great and helped us, as a family, to integrate into our new routine, making sure we were happy every step of the way. The daily feedback is thorough and we are told what they have been doing, what they have eaten, things they have said and enjoyed and progress they have made. I think The Haven goes above and beyond to encourage every child to do their best, noticing their individual strengths, and spending time helping to develop them. The staff as a whole provide a wealth of experience and the parents evenings are always well organised with detailed written reports to accompany a sit down talk with your child's key worker. These are never rushed over any concerns you may have. We have always felt happy that are children are safe and well cared for here. I would highly recommend the The Haven 2000.

My son has been at The Haven since he was 14 months old and I could not be happier with all of the staff & carers at The Haven. I have always felt that my son is 100% safe and cared for and as he is about to leave and move onto primary school, the support the staff have given for this transition has been second to none. At the end of every day, comprehensive feedback is given including what he has eaten, played with, learnt and also follow on learning for at home. I would recommend The Haven to any parent looking for a safe, caring and fun learning environment for their child. Both my son and I will miss the staff very much when his time comes to leave at the end of August.

I have a child in pre-school and a child in the baby room at The Haven 2000. It is a wonderful care setting. The individualized care each child receives is incredible. They know each child very well and sensitively tailor the learning, routines and comfort measures required accordingly. We have had several dietary issues with both children and they have responded by altering menus for them and giving detailed feedback on how they have eaten and their symptoms each day. I have always felt 100% certain that my children are safe. They work collaboratively with parents and were very helpful when we encountered difficulties with toilet training our eldest child. When we have encountered any issues these have always been listened to, taken seriously and addressed. The work they do with preschoolers on transition to school has been essential for us as a family in feeling ready for our eldest to start school. I have been amazed at my baby s progress in her 6 months there, and delighted at how happy and settled she is. Please know how well thought of you are by your families and keep doing what you are doing.

Our daughter is just about to leave for school. She is going to leave the Haven as a confident and well spoken four year old. This is down to the fantastic and never ending work of the practitioners here, and all the projects aimed to improve children's educational and social attainment. We started here just over a year and a half ago and the difference in both academic achievements and her social skills have sky rocketed. Without the Haven I am not sure she or I would be ready for this next stage. Our daughter could be very quiet and upset when dropped off at her previous nursery. Her progress here is far greater and the Haven remains one of the only places she is completely settled. She loves nursery days and often speaks of the staff members who at the beginning of her time at this nursery went above and beyond to help us as an entire family settle in. They continue to help us through school transitioning and everything previously. I can honestly say I have never worried about leaving her here and will genuinely miss having her in this setting.

The Haven 2000 was most welcoming nursery we visited when we started looking back in autumn 2016. Our son struggled to settle for several weeks, only being 9 months old when he started there 3 days a week, however, all the staff were incredibly patient, supportive and caring, not to mention resourceful when he was refusing to drink any milk! I found the adjustment to working again incredibly difficult but it was made so much easier knowing that he was with staff who really cared for him and went the extra mile to make sure he was looked after. It's been reassuring knowing that they will contact us if they have any small concerns about him. He soon settled and now is very happy when he gets his cuddle from one of the team when we drop him off in the morning. We have found all the staff to be really helpful whenever we have questions about our child's development - helping us with concerns about sleeping, eating, speaking etc. We have been really pleased with the different initiatives they have promoted like the maths skills and healthy eating and teeth. The information evening on speech was really informative. The feedback that Maria, the Nursery manager has given us has always been really positive and constructive while Viv, the Business Manager, has been incredibly supportive to us during difficult times. All the staff we have worked with at Haven 2000 have become part of our extended family, I don't think we would be doing as well without them. I cannot recommend Haven 2000 highly enough.

The Haven 2000 is a wonderful family-owned and run nursery and pre-school. Both of our children started at 11 months old and have stayed until school age. We are extremely happy with the quality of the care and education provided. Our youngest daughter will soon start school and has been incredibly well prepared, as was our eldest. She can count and recognise numbers, write her name, as well as sound out and recognise most letters. In addition to the educational side of things, she has been well supported in developing her self-care skills, which will stand her in good stead for life at school. The staff do an amazing job with the children and have been incredibly supportive over the years with great advice on weaning, behaviour and potty training. We could not have asked for more and are truly sad that our time with The Haven will be coming to an end when our youngest starts school in September.

I have a 4 1/2 year old and an 18 month old who currently attend the Haven. Both of the children love going to nursery. This shows in their development and my wife and I could not be happier with the choice we made. Joshua has been attending for a minimum of 3 days a week since he was 12 months old and is now in his last year and with the help of the wonderful staff at the Haven he is more than ready to start school. The communication from the staff is excellent with regular feedback, parents evenings and social events and the work and care they take with the children is fantastic. Joshua talks so fondly of the staff and misses team members when they are away. The Haven has been a massive part of our children's social development and with everything such as behaviour, interaction with others, sharing, eating habits, politeness and basic health and safety such as climbing the stairs and clearing away toys. It will be sad when Joshua leaves in the Summer but at least he can still visit to pick up his sister! Thank you so much to all the team. We cannot praise you enough.

My daughter joined Haven in October and she has settled in so well, I was worried as she was only 6 months old but the nursery have been great with her and me by updating me with pictures throughout the day. She is really well looked after and staff are lovely.

Absolutely amazing nursery. My 3 children have attended over the last 9 years and I can't fault it in the slightest. The staff are always helpful and friendly, my children are taught to a level that sets them up extremely well for starting school and most importantly, I feel confident that my children are very well cared for while at the nursery. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you so much for all you've done for us.

Our three sons are at Haven and I've been really pleased with staff (genuinely sad to see a couple of them move on or go on maternity leace). Always had great advice which has proved very helpful. Management is outstanding!
