A. N.My little girl has been attending this nursery for almost 2 years. It's not a 5 star nursery but it has improved so much and it's still improving. Although the setting (outside and inside), doesn't look impressive, it's reasonably a good place with some very friendly and professional staff. I have never had any issues with the staff and my girl always looks happy and well looked after. She will really miss it when she leaves in July.
L. T.Monmar is a very nice nursery where my 1 year old has been going since February. I'm very impressed by the staff who always listen to my requests. My sons key worker always gives me feedback on how his day has been and I like looking at the online journal photos. I would recommend this nursery as it is affordable and the staff are always going above and beyond to cater for my son.

R.I have worked here since October 2017, when I started the whole building was unloved and not looked after, the rooms were messy with old resources and nothing on the walls . . . ..between us we have transformed each room, they have been decorated, carpeted and completely retransformed, there are bright displays and new resources, we have morning and afternoon planning to keep the little ones entertained, every room has cameras in so "slapping children" can be recorded! Our staff are fully trained and very professional and would never treat any child like that, we love the children like they are our own and the nursery would not still be open if this had has happened! We have tissues and wipes in every room to encourage clean faces and good personal hygiene (no snotty noses) before and after eating we ensure hands and faces are cleaned too, we have two new directors which are passionate about the nursery and are committed to making positive changes, we have a few spaces in some rooms, but also have a waiting list. We work in partnership with parents, another local nursery and outside agencies committed to childcare. There is always going to be good and bad reviews where ever you go, as a mum of 4 I have experienced this first hand but Monmar has turned a corner, come and have a look, speak to other parents and make your own opinion about us☺
C. A.There is no nursery that is 100 or even 90% perfect but I must recommend monmar to whosoever that values his or her child's moral and social upbringing. The outside may not be so ecstatic but am not really bothered about that cos my child will not be etched to the outside wall. I love the warm and friendly atmosphere.the staff are welcoming and they respect my opinions. The rooms are clean which is my main concern. My child looks happy and occupied with toys, trying to explore them. Most times I have to beg her for us to go home and believe me she won't do that if the staff had been treating her badly. I am happy with my childs rapid academic development and her listening skills. Though they have few flaws which basically will be inherent in every other nursery, Monmar is still the best.
e. b.My 2 year old started here after having an awful settling in period at another setting. She was very distressed when I introduced her to Monmar due to a bad experience, however the staff here have worked amazingly with her to gain her trust and help her to enjoy nursery. I would 100% recommend this nursery to all of my friends and family.
T. H.Wow really? my daughter has been going to this nursery since she was a baby and I never had a problem with them, the staff were lovely and most had kids themselves so they were understanding, I even remember asking them once to fed my daughter less food as she had such a big appetite! :)
I wanted to take my son their as well but the are full up at the moment which is a shame as their rates are good, now have to pay twice as much for another nursery. So I give them a Thumbs Up :)
K. W.My niece attends this nursery and it is excellent. The staff are very caring and friendly. I like how the baby room is now downstairs, and the pre school is upstairs. The children wear uniform also which ensures that they are all the same. The food is also healthy and balanced. The facebook page also has lots of pictures of what the children have been up to.
