Reviews of Bright Futures Day Nursery

Our son has been at Bright Futures since he was just under 6 months old and although we are excited about him moving on to primary school the last 4 and a bit years he has spent at Bright Futures has been excellent.
The staff are caring, kind and genuinely take an interest in him. He has had typical challenges that every child will face and they have played a key part in helping him navigate his way.
We particularly would like to thank Lyndsey for her involvement with our son. She has been his key worker throughout most of his time and has been a very special part of his life. Also special mention to Jo, Tuesday and Shannon.
We are so pleased with the nursery our daughter is currently there and the nursery are excellent at encouraging the sibling relationship, especially when our daughter was new and needed a big brother cuddle.
We would highly recommend!

Both of my daughters went to Bright Futures from 2019 to 2022. My youngest is now leaving preschool to go into reception. The nursery is a lovely, welcoming place and the staff have always shown real care and affection for the children. Activities are stimulating and the kids get to learn in a really fun way. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Fabulous nursery! The staff are excellent and my son has thrived at Bright Futures. They do a range of great activities and communication with parents is fantastic. My son has really enjoyed the last 3 years there and appreciated the dedication and enthusiasm of the staff. Can't recommend Bright Futures enough

Excellent nursery. Our eldest daughter has been at Bright Futures for 4 years and has enjoyed every moment, and our youngest daughter is due to start soon. Staff are always friendly. The care, attention and education my daughter has received has been outstanding.
We would highly recommend.

Our son started nursery quite late as it was after covid therefore he also hadn't been used to being around many people. We tried several nurseries but in the end settled well into this nursery.
He loves his key workers and they are his "best friends", he's also named other friends he plays with at nursery too which is so nice. I definetely saw the positive influence this nursery was having on him and I thank you busy bees for supporting my little one.

Fantastic nursery, both daughters were there over a 7 year period. First started in 2015 when it was only small. Second went from 2018 to 2022. The nursery may have grown in size over that time, but the care, love, attention and early years education my children have received throughout has been outstanding, no matter the size. I only have positive things to say about the nursery and all the staff. Sad to be leaving but alas it's almost time for school for my little one.

Bright Futures is a lovely nursery. My 3 year old loved Busy Bees (pre-school room) his keyworker was fantastic and he has been practicing writing, phonics, maths and more. He also had lots of creative time and messy play and enjoyed every minute. The outside space is also great fun and used a lot. The staff are great with parents too so you always feel up to date. So much attention to detail. My 3 year old's confidence has grown and he's made some lovely friends. Definitely feel he is ready for pre-school at the local school if not reception!!

My eldest son started at bright futures in May 2013 as a 6 month old and I absolutely believe he has received 100% perfect care! The staff have been encouraging and supportive towards him and have helped him grow into a beautiful caring, happy child and prepped and ready for big school in September! My youngest joined in December 2015 and loves nursery! He's just moved up to happy hippos and already asks for Lindsey all the time at home! As a family we have made good friends with our nursery family and the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional. Highly recommended.

My son is at Bright Futures and my daughter also attended prior to starting school. My son loves it there and has a real attachment to the staff who treat him like one of their own. They have a great range of learning resources and work with the children at their own speed. He has learnt so much and often surprises us with new facts! The nursery keep parents up to date with their development through an online learning journal which is interactive. Parents are also kept involved through 'play and stay' sessions where parents or carers can join the children for a couple of hours and take part in prepared activities. The children love to show off their space, toys, work and activity stations. It really is such a lovely thing to be involved in. The outside space has been really well thought out, making use of every corner! There is also a covered outside area so that children can still get fresh air even on a rainy day. The management are also very helpful and professional with any problems parents may have. They are open to ideas and welcome feedback at any stage. I would happily recommend this nursery to anybody who is considering nursery care for the child. Lynn Fleming xx

Bright futures is a home from home for our daughter. She is very happy there and has great relationships with all the staff who really treat her with love and care. We are looking forward to our youngest starting there soon. The nursery is very child centred, laid back, caring and fun but they also take care to support our daughter's learning needs as she grows. They helped us toilet train her and always give me advice about health and development matters. A highlight was when she was very young my daughter developed a serious eye condition which needed immediate treatment and could have been life threatening. My daughter's key person noticed it and immediately dealt with it which meant there was a happy outcome for everyone. I would recommend this nursery to any parent we consider them as part of the family!

My daughter has been going to Bright Futures since September and absolutely loves it there. Not only that but she seems to learn something new every time she is in. All of the staff, especially Danielle, Lindsey and Amanda, are always very friendly and nothing is too much. They clearly love each of the children and it's lovely to see, making it like a home from home for the little ones. The nursery's 1 on ofsted is definitely deserved from what I've seen and I would recommend this as an option for anyone looking for a nursery for their child. Thank you everyone at Bright Futures!

My 18 month old son absolutely loves going to Bright Futures Day Nursery! He's been there 6 months now and has come on so much since he first started. It's great to see in his diary what he's been up to each day, what he's eaten and how long he's napped for. He does lots of fun activities like sand and water play, messy play, painting, glueing and sticking - the list goes on! The outdoor space is great and all the staff are really friendly and approachable. They always take the time to give me an update when I pick him up at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend Bright Futures to anyone looking for an affordable nursery in the Urmston area.

Our daughter has been attending bright futures for over a year and it's clear that she really enjoys it. She is always happy being dropped off and has formed good relationships with her peers and key workers. We love being able to view her progress via the updates on the tapestry app.

Wow, after having an awful experience with a nursery down the road, the staff and school was an absolute delight. I can't thank them enough for restoring my faith in childcare, they really care about my 3 year old and 16 month old. They have both come on so much, a big thank you to Amanda and Lyndsay for the extra care they give on a daily basis, all the staff have been amazing.

Bright Future`s Day nursery provides excellent daycare. Manager is friendly and interested in inventing new things to get children to enjoy playing and discovering new things. Staff has done lots of creative things with children and they are trustworthy, first aid-trained, creative and find always new solutions to teach new things such as letting kids to observe how caterpillars transform into butterflyes.
Every now and then the nursery has charity theme party-events. Our children have enjoyed dressing pirates etc. Those days have been the highlights for our kids. When it was Halloween the nursery`s own chef made meal according to the theme and children made craftworks, for example spiders and pumpkin masks. At Easter time there was Easter parade, Christmas time nativity play and there was handmade scenary which was awesome! The nursery`s regime has been very good. Our children have enjoyed playing with others in the big garden. The staff is caring and work with big heart.
Our family`s native language is Finnish but with hard work our kids have learnt in the nursery to speak English as well. First the staff used picture cards to help our child to communicate until those were not needed anymore. The nursery made big effort to help our children understand the language and now they speak both Finnish and English. The nursery has also French lessons once a week and our older child has learnt some French too. Staff has also made great effort to support our children's native language and culture by singing Finnish songs sometimes. They even learnt a little bit of Finnish! Nursery`s chef even made special Finnish meal for everyone once, which was really nice. Co-operation between home and nursery has worked well and is supported by discussions and monthly newsletters. Awesome nursery!
