Feedback received from a Parent February 2015. It has been a lovely experience having my twins David and Isobel (3) into Duckings Pre-school @ Westcroft. Niki and her team are attentive; warm and friendly and firm with the children. The range of activities is very good and each key worker knows all children; which is useful and demonstrates teamwork as they are willing to help neurotic parents who need a word! Holly and Emma have been great key workers and are working exceptionally hard on their Development; their observations of David and Isobel are on point and the workbook folders packed full. We continue to work with them. Thank you! > > I've needed Niki's advice on a 1:1 basis recently and she took time out of her schedule to offer her knowledge, of which she has years. My son's and I absolutely love Ducklings pre school nursery and the staff. My eldest Joshua is very shy with adults and I was very worried about him going to pre school, thankfully we had no issues at all. He settled in perfectly and I now have confidence in him moving up to school in September although I know he will miss all the ducks. My youngest Louis has always been bubbly and outgoing so I had no concerns with him, he did cry though but at home time because he wants to stay. My boys honestly love it so much they moan when they hear it's Saturday/Sunday or heaven forbid the holidays! I can see why they are classed as outstanding, there is real structured play, creativity and learning along side plenty of play and they even get homework preparing for the move up to school. I recommend them 100%

My daughter has been attending Ducklings at Westcroft since January 2015 and can honestly say she is not the same child I brought through those red doors a few months ago. Alice suffers from severe separation anxiety so making the decision to send her to preschool was a tough one. First week was tough, sick every session, heart beating out of her chest and screaming for mummy. Megan her key worker started teaching her coping mechanisms from day 1. By the 2nd week no sick and the mechanisms were starting to work. It took Alice a few weeks but now more times than not she is happy to go off and play once she's settled with Emma or Megan (Staff members). The change in Alice is amazing and that is down to the hard work from Niki and the team at Westcroft. 6 months ago there was no way she would stand up in front of everyone but now she's happy to join in all the time. She is so much more confident and has learnt so much in such a short time. Niki is an amazing centre manager bringing a wealth of experience to the preschool which you can see every time you walk in. She is always there to help with any questions you have and the team work with you to achieve a good balance between school and home. Sending Alice to preschool was a hard decision made easy by the fantastic team at Ducklings Westcroft. Thank you everyone :-)

I cannot praise enough how friendly, caring and professional their staff is. My daughter loves this place, her key worker Rebekka and other ladies, setting and everything about it. When she first started she fit into the group really well and quickly thank to the brilliant and thoughtful staff. Now we cannot imagine our life without this place. This pre-school inspires children for learning and I can clearly see it how rapid progress my daughter makes, especially in english, maths, drawing and writing. Ducklings at westcroft is absolutely fabulous... My son Palaksh loves going there and adores his key worker Emma who is very warm and caring.The team at westcroft is brilliant. Over the past 10 years all 3 of my children have gone to ducklings West Croft . The ladies there are amazing so caring and supportive . We really are going to miss them all as our last child goes to school this year . We are very sad to be saying good bye to the fantastic ladies and we are so grateful for all the hard work they all put it All the best for the future duckling ladies

This pre-school is excellent, all the key workers are friendly, caring and attentive. My son Liam looks forward to going everyday and really doesn't want to leave for 'big' school in September!

Ducklings pre-school is rated Outstanding by Ofsted, the long established team and kind and caring. The outdoor garden is a wonderful resource.
