E. R.Both of my daughters (age 1 and 3) attend Mulberry Bear and absolutely love going there. The staff are fantastic and have such great relationships with the children. It's a very safe and clean environment and I know my girls are in the best hands when there. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces have fantastic facilities for the children to play and get creative with. My 2 girls have come on so much since starting at Mulberry Bear and have gained so much confidence.
A. W.True home away from home! Our kids both had to start nursery quite early and we were so nervous with our first born and looked at a couple of places, unsure what we were looking for. There was no doubt Mulberry Bear knew exactly what we were going through! They welcomed us as anxious parents and helped us to trust and be confident. So there was no doubt that our second baby would go there couple of years later.
They have three different groups in which they look after the children, with the babies having their own separate room. The staff are great, following an ethos of inclusion and care, looking after the children with such warmth and understanding, you will want to stay there too for some play time.
They don't cook on site, but are working incredibly well with their caterers, to ensure kids are fed a healthy warm meal, catering for all allergens.
They have a big outdoor space, which they continue to re-create and update to further imagination and give the kids a chance to engage with nature.
H. Q.I’m so glad I sent my daughter to Mulberry Bear, which provided a safe and caring environment that I believe gave her the best start to life outside the home. She was there for over 3 years, from 12 months until last month, when she started school. The staff were great: caring and professional, they made it feel like her second home. I very much appreciated the child-led approach, exploring and learning through play - especially messy play (so I didn’t have to) and music lessons. The nursery itself was clean and with lots for her to explore indoors (she especially appreciated the painting and play dough stations) and outdoors, where she could explore the outdoor environment, had plenty of space to run about with her friends, play on the outdoor equipment, in the mud kitchen and more recently the growing garden – learning about plants – planting seeds and seedlings, tending them, watching them grow and eating some of the results. We both miss MB: the staff and the fun she had there.
