Brilliant nursery with really friendly staff. Our daughter has been attending since august 2020 and settled in very quickly and loves attending. She speaks of all the children she plays with and loves to talk about the staff and what they have been doing together. The staff really care about the children and nothing is too much trouble. Really good communication throughout the day and any questions are answered which provides reassurance. They offer a wide range of activities and the amount that is available as they get older is great. The children go out in the community and access local resources which is lovely to see. They offer a good variety of home cooked food which our daughter loves. Really happy with our choice of nursery.

Absolutely wonderful nursery! The staff are so lovely and really take the time to ensure your little ones are happy and well looked after. My boy joined Applegarth when he was 11 months and the staff were amazing during the new transition and my boy always walks in with a smile. The app they have means you can contact the nursery instantly and see exactly what they are doing throughout the day. I love that the nursery know and understand the little details that we as parents know about our little ones. They ensure the children get as much fresh air as possible and take them on some lovely local walks too! Couldn’t recommend enough!

My boy has been attending the nursery since he was 10 months and we have always been confident in Applegarth to take excellent care of him. The building and facilities offered to all age groups is fantastic and clean. The activities they provide for the children to do, are well thought out following the curriculum. They organise something for each day. They are constantly looking at new things to do and different places to take the children indoors and outdoors. My little girl has just started and I know the kind and caring staff will take exemplary care of her, I wouldn’t dream of sending her anywhere else 🙌

AppleGarth Day Nursery has been nothing but positive experiences for my son. It has helped my son so much with his social development and the staff have built an excellent relationship with him. As soon as he sees nursery he gets very excited and is always asking for the staff. They come to meet him at the door with the loveliest smiles and make him feel very comfortable. He has come on leaps and bounds since attending nursery! My daughter starts next week and I can’t wait to watch her thrive from being there aswell as her brother. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

My daughter has been going Applegarth Nursery since she was just shy of 12mths old and she LOVES it! The staff are friendly and engaging, the environment is always clean and prepared for expanding her learning. When I started looking at nursery’s for my daughter I visited a few different places and within a few minutes of being at Applegarth I knew this was the right nursery for my little girl. Something in my heart just felt right! All the staff made an effort to say hello even on the tour, the rooms were kitted out with age appropriate toys and equipment and there was a lovely feel to Applegarth. My daughter then started in Sept 2020 and since then she’s loved every second of it and continues to enjoy it. On the way to nursery she talks about the other children she’ll play with and she’ll also talk about the staff that will look after her and she gets so excited when we pull up to nursery. She’s made some lovely bonds with both the staff and other children there at Applegarth. There’s a real sense of family there. She’s learnt so much whilst being there, they teach the children lots of different things and they do different activities with the children like: baking, drawing, trips to the library, forest school, swimming lessons, core skills, yoga, dance, sign language and seasonal activities. Applegarth uses an app throughout the day which tells you what they’ve eaten and how much, nappy changes and how long they’ve napped for. They also use it as a messaging service to ask questions or inform you of things and they add photos of your little one doing different activities. Overall I would recommend sending your child/ren there. I am truly grateful for everything they’ve done for my little girl and I can’t wait to tell her when she’s older how much fun she had whilst going to Applegarth. Keep being amazing everyone, it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Choosing a nursery for your children is a very daunting important thing. I looked at a handful around Hucknall and personally liked Applegarth the best. And i haven’t been disappointed. Currently 3 and 1 year old there. My eldest has thrived, grown in confidence and competence in so many areas. She loves all the staff. (She didn’t like the male teacher because he didn’t let her have her dummy once?!? But she also tells me she hasn’t been swimming when she comes back with a wet swimming costume and I see photo evidence, so pinch of salt and all that 🤷🏼‍♀️) I’ve seen them look after my children as if they were their own so surprised by some other reviews. My youngest suffers with bronchilitus and on the 2nd ever day of him being there they spotted something wasn’t right and acted immediately. They have swimming programmes and forest school. The food has always been of high standard and both my children eat really well there. They supported me with potty training my first which I appreciate. I’ve been able to change my hours slightly without hassle after finishing Mat leave and with enough notice can change them back if circumstances change. Overall really happy and so are my children

We struggled to find a nursery that could accommodate my partners shifts patterns as so many nurseries cannot be flexible. We were so happy to find somewhere that could but more importantly where our little one enjoys and has fun. He comes out with a big grin on his face each time. We love the use of the app as the updates on his nappies, eating and nap really reassures us and the staff are always prepared to answer our questions and make time to answer our messages. He especially loves coming home with baking he's helped to do or with a new word he's learnt, he's come on so much since he started there with his talking and physically too.

Everything has been great so far, our child is happy arriving on each of his mornings and also appears very happy upon collection. We find the staff attentive and keen to update us, and never have we felt that they don't have time for us when we see them for drop off and collection. All the necessary requirements seem well taken care off and consistently so. Access to an app that allows us to see what he eats each day and his nappy changes are very helpful, and the periodic updates to his progression are vital to us.

All three of my children have attended Applegarth And through the last 8 years they have gone above and beyond any nursery setting should have. They have supported me through our worst years and our best. They have been very professional and understanding. They helped and cared for our children with their whole hearts like their own mum and dads ! Applegarth’s priority was our children’s safety and this made us feel comfortable trusting them to care for our babies 🥰
