Finally.... Much better since they put in the lift system for each platform, it's just a shame that it's taken this long to get done.
When I started Clough Hall in 1998, I raised the issue of inadequate access to Platforms 2,3&4 with Network Rail, Head Teacher - Mr Readman and Local Labour MP - Joan Walley but nothing was done.
It was easier to walk across the train track to Platform 2,3&4 than use the inaccessible stairs.

The station is fine. Only manned in the mornings after that all purchases are via machine. Can be a little spooky at night with no one around. Trains to stoke derby Manchester etc are regular. Does have car and bike parking but no disabled access to platforms 23 and 4.

Standard format for small stations but this has a sting in the tail. First it has lots of art displayed from local children of the station and second it has a secret garden I wonder how many use it and never seen the garden hidden behind the display

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Just a disappointment there were no disabled access to platform 2, 3 and 4. Although they did help me by letting me get on the train.

It's an old station, you have to cross bridges to get to most platforms and there are no lifts which is fine if you have no luggage.
