3 stars are all for the courteous and efficient member of staff manning the booth. It may be a decent place for more intricate or bespoke issues, but if you just need a new battery, then go elsewhere. I'd accumulated 4 watches requiring a new battery & reseal. Watch Lab quoted £140 (with 2yr guarantee) while 200 yards away, Timpsons did all 4 with a lifetime guarantee (every subsequent time you need a new battery, they'll replace it for nothing) for all 4 watches for £82. What's more annoying is that Timpsons Group also owns Watch Lab.....

Excellent customer service from Callum at Glasgow branch. I took in a watch that was sentimental in value, not cost. It needed a new face, battery & strap. Callum was very helpful & honest about repairing it. I am delighted with the end result. Having worked with the general public myself for many years, I want to recognise Callum for his people skills & professional attitude.

Fast, efficient and professional service, but quite pricey! £50 for Tissot (chrono) battery replacement (2yr guarantee) and waterproof reseal with certificate. Impressively, it was done immediately and I collected it after 45mins. Out of interest, I compared this cost to when I last got the battery replaced in 2018 at InTime (was in Debenhams) - £29.95 (18 month) guarantee and reseal. However, as far as I can remember, this wasn't an instant service and involved me returning on a different day which was inconvenient. Looking at their website, their prices don't appear to have changed much since then. I rang Chilsolm Hunter and they quoted £75 done offsite and would involve a 3 week turnaround! Popping into Timpsons, the man quoted me £40-50 but this pays for unlimited lifetime battery replacement (!), on site and including reseal. I suppose the caveat is they are not solo watch specialists, and for this reason you would worry about the skill / knowledge level - more a concern with an expensive, delicate / rare watch. Given my watch is relatively inexpensive and standard design, I don't want to pay £50 every 2-3 years as I would quickly exceed the original price paid for the watch (around £300), so next time I think I might take the punt with Timspons for the lifetime battery replacement service.

I had planned a visit to Glasgow and found the watch lab on line. I found it from the directions on the website and they were very accommodating. They discussed what they would do to my Armani ceramic watch when they replaced the battery. They offered me a clean up and I accepted. They said come back in an hour and when I did he said and there's your new watch. It was so clean and working again. Service was top notch and the speed was great.

I visited yesterday Sunday 25th of July. I required a link to be added to my watch bracelet. Never in a million years did I expect it to be done there and then but it took five minutes to complete despite being a tricky design the lady had it down to a fine art. I was really impressed from beginning to end.

Had the battery replaced in my Omega watch by the Glasgow Buchanan Galleries Watch Lab. It was pressure tested and I was given a receipt to confirm that. Very happy with the service and it was ready on the same day. The person we dealt with was very friendly and helpful.
