This is the first time I’ve used Vintec. I needed to test some textured ceiling coatings. The website was easy to navigate and very informative. Once I selected and purchased I received an email to say that they had been dispatched - on the same day the order was placed. The test arrived the next day with a very comprehensive instruction booklet Once the samples were taken I returned them to Vintec. Two days later the results had been emailed back to me! Very impressed, very efficient and professional service. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I needed to have some loose particle loft insulation tested for the presence of asbestos, following a surveyor's report. Vintec made it easy for me to deliver the sample and were able to get the results back to me the same day, despite not dropping off the sample until around 3:15pm. Impressive!

I was recommended to Vintec after receiving a surveyor's report suggesting our home of 26 years may have Vermiculite loft insulation contaminated by asbestos. This was a most unpleasant shock but Anna at Vintec was extremely re-assuring and arranged for me to use their self testing kit to take samples for them to analyse. Everything was dealt with totally professionally and speedily and less than a week later I received the re-assuring email that our insulation was totally fine. We were recommended Vintec Laboratories by another contractor who is due to commence some works at a property we manage. Due to artex on the ceiling they required it to be tested for asbestos. We spoke to Vintec who arranged a DIY sampling kit which came the next day. We were able to obtain a sample and drop it off to them and we had the results back less than 24 hours later. This was such a good service we would definitely use it again or recommend them to our clients.

Very fast turnaround and efficient service. Good feedback from clients too and the prices are entirely reasonable. I needed an asbestos testing service to refer to in conjunction with my building surveying activity and Vintec are excellent. See the attached photo for the type of material I come across - this was in the roof space of a family home, Vintec tested and my client saved several thousand by seeking further investigation before exchange of contracts.

Vintec have been very helpful and professional when undertaking air monitoring at our sites. Bookings are actioned timely with results available immediately upon completion of air monitoring. I have been able to discuss various queries with them at office level and once the analyst arrives on site, it is clear that they are aware of our requirements. My first time using a company to test asbestos samples so I wasn't sure what to expect - what a pleasure to find such a professional group of people at Vintec. Having just moved into a 1980s house and inadvertently broken a suspicious looking board behind a fire, I was looking for some help regarding an air sampling test and further sample testing on the board, plus testing of a couple of other samples from other rooms. I spoke to Kim on the phone who took me through the options and Vintec were able to have their technician (Flakron) with me that afternoon ensuring we didn't have hazardous fibres in the room. The test was completed, air analysed and a signed report all provided to me before he left. Thankfully all was good. Flakron had brought a testing kit for the samples which he took away with him and which I had the results on the next day. I also spoke with Anna, the laboratory manager and she explained to me exactly what the board was. So whilst it was an initially concerning incident, I was very grateful for the knowledgeable, prompt and efficient service that the team at Vintec were able to provide. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone that might need this kind of testing undertaken.
