Reviews of Frosts Garden Centre At Willington
A. F.
Good family day out at The Pumpkin Patch. Well done Frost's on lacking in so much in a small area. Pumpkin & lentil soup was being served in the restaurant, highly recommended
R. S.
Nice large garden centre with a wide selection of garden and outdoor supplies. You can easily spend hours looking around. Well laid out. Friendly helpful staff. Easy to get to with a large car park. Also has a nice restaurant that serves good food.
A. S.
Visit the Forest garden venue today for a pumpkin picking event. This is perfect for the kids especially with Halloween approaching. Pumpkins aswel as refreshments was pricey.
J. W.
What a lovely garden centre had a cup of tea and a scone in the afternoon it was quite busy but the staff in the cafe were very helpful , loads of plants and other things as well , really set out well it was nice to see the plants watered .
S. D.
I must say to people go... we went and had lunch in the restaurant it was amazing fresh food homemade or just have a coffee and a slice of cake friendly staff relaxing afternoon.. Wonderful Christmas display and great gift ideas..
O. G.
Love this little garden centre. Obviously on the more expensive side as they all are, but the gifts are so bespoke and lovely, the kids section is fab and I adore the new fresh food market! Amazing addition. We always stop at the cafe for a coffee, and to this day, the seasonal afternoon tea is the best I've had. Definitely recommend.
C. d. O.
Wonderful place , lovely and helpful staff. You can just spend a whole morning/ afternoon , just looking around , clothes, toys, home, items for the garden and beautiful plants and then have something to eat . One of the best.
L. E.
The garden centre has recently added a huge range of fruit, vegetables, good quality frozen meals and much more. Really impressive. I was pleased to be offered a slightly smaller scone as I find them quite large. Overall an extremely pleasant visit.
M. M.
Lovely cafe.
Lots of plants.
The market area was fantastic some nice fresh veg & produce.
P. D.
Had the Sunday roast in the restaurant. Best roast we have had for a long time. The meat was cooked perfectly and even the broccoli (I hate broccoli) was good. The veggie also loved nut roast. The cooler drinks were delicious too.
T. W.
What a wonderful place, took my wife for the first time, also had some lunch there too.
Can't fault the place on any level .
So much better than these mainstream ones .
Been told we are going back .
Well down guys and girls 10 out of 10

Usually love coming to frosts but I really don't like the new table service in the cafe. It seemed like the staff didn't know who had ordered and who hadn't. The majority of customers had to ask to order and then trying to find someone to ask for the bill also took a while. I'm not sure what was wrong with ordering and paying at the till?
L. L.
Frosts really does have a fantastic selection of items, its always lovely to have a look, but they are over priced. The only thing that was great value was the fresh fruit and veg area where they had freshly picked strawberries £1 for approx a 400g punnet, and 99p for a really great sized tray of baby plum tomatoes, at least double the size you would get from a supermarket, that made the trip worthwhile!
C. W. (.
Very nice selection of plants. Prices aren't too bad. Some nice little bargains to be had. Knowledgeable staff who knew exactly what I was talking about even with a vague description.
B. T.
A great Christmasy experience, and a singing reindeer! Found loads of Christmas ideas, gnomes galore and the cafe is second to non.
Love the gnome treehouse this year (2021) it’s given my children an idea for our tree.
s. j.
We had food in the restaurant which was really nice.
The downside is none of the young staff smiled at all and seemed like they disnt really enjoy being there . Also we did see one of them wipe their nose on their hand and then go and pick up some plates to take out to the table which was quite shocking.
J. P.
Had a lovely afternoon tea for my daughters baby shower today .
Table was layed very pretty , food was amazing , and staff very friendly and helpful .. I would highly recommend .
S. S.
Garden centre was lovely, however the restaurant was absolutely awful,we waited over thirty minutes for a coffee and cake which was sitting there, people around us were waiting a lot longer for their food one waited over 45mins to be told their order hadnt even been recognised, another waited over an hour to be told they had run out of food they wanted. Absolutely awful since theyve changed their systems for food, get it together Frosts of Willington, will not be going back.
N. W.
Not sure why they have adopted a full table service as it makes the whole process much slower
We used to love their lunchtime menu and delivery but so much slower now that we do not use as often

A regular visitor to Frosts especially to the restaurant at lunch time. Its always quite busy, which is no wonder as the food is always very well presented and tasty.
This visit 23rd November, greeted by Christmas and festive sights and smells as you enter the building. "Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas"
There's lots for the kids to look at and enhance the Christmas experience.
G. T.
Lots to see. The quality of food produce is very good and the staff really make an effort to make you feel. I am a regular visitor.
M. K.
Great place with quality products.. Even has fresh fruit and vegetables now, with a selection of pre prepared meals. Fantastic cafe too, that caters for a quick snack to a proper meal. Highly recommend a visit.
L.
Always clean and tidy, well presented stock, I love I can take my dog in with me. Staff always know there stuff and nothing is too much for them.
S. K.
Had a lovely lunch and a good look around. Lots of great ideas for Christmas. Staff were fantastic.
S. S.
They are just setting up fir Christmas and it's definately looking magical unfortunately some items are abit over priced ..Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a lovely atmosphere
C. M.
Lovely garden centre, always clean, everything is well spaced out. Staff are friendly but leave you to wonder which I like. I usually come for indoor plants which they have a lot of but I think it would be good if they sourced some more exciting indoor plants and slightly better plant pots so that people who are returning customers like me can find something new and interesting. I found the living plant on my last trip, very happy with it.
A. M.
Had a tiny piece of stodgy Victoria sandwich and eventually a Latte once they'd finally got my order mostly right. The price was ridiculous so will not be frequenting the restaurant again. The rest of the garden centre is nice but still a little overpriced.
S. G.
A wonderful garden Center. We loved the beautiful breakfast. A must visit place.
D. H.
Lovely Garden centre. The cafe is great took our toddler for a cooked breakfast and we all enjoyed it. Great atmosphere and good quality food. We also bought a few plants.
a. a. '. a.
Nice milkshakes! And the large fish tank once finished will be a sight to rival sea world
K. D.
I absolutely love frosts.
Me and my mom love going around Christmas time because they have all there decorations and lights up. They also always have some real reindeers.
Whenever I go into frosts I always come out with more than I wanted!
Everything is laid out lovely and all their plants look really looked after.
They have a cafe inside aswel which is lovely.
You can get garden furniture, soil, books, snacks, gifts, tools, flowers and much much more from here too.
T. G.
A magnificent garden centre also a excellent cafe but meals are a.little bit dearer than a cafe. Garden centre is excellent and always changing guests their theme indoors - a must to visit
M. W.
Great kids area out the back, good looking resturant I will be back to try
OK been back to try restaurant.. Had a warm salmon salad for lunch, excellent value at £9.95. My wife had a lovely sandwich was fair at £4.95, tasted good & was home made. Staff were really friendly & attentive. Was very clean & would happily go back. Large dinning area with room for large bookings
M. M.
It’s a really busy restaurant, especially on the weekends but the food is good and the staff are lovely and efficient. Menu changes regularly, my suet pie was really filling and the coffee was great. Kids loved the pick and mix packed lunch (why is it so hard to get them to eat hot food in winter???) and my wife could finish the entire can of beans that was given to her as her portion. Would recommend this restaurant during shopping marathons in the store....
G. R.
Great place to shop for home & garden. There is a restaurant here which does great food.
S. F.
HGV drivers entrance is in Sandy Lane just before markers going out of village. One way system to easily get round. Nice friendly staff and quick tip
L. O.
Good garden centre,a bit pricey but always a lovely selection of things to buy.Lovely restaurant and food tables inside and out.
A. S.
Bought some nice garden furniture 🏡!!!! Lovely atmosphere and great staff😎! Especially Imogen who helped me find the right plant for my observatory 🤩
b. z.
Was our designated breakfast stop on our first motorbike outing of 2022 with the S&DMCC, Had a very nice cream tea.
M. H.
Frosts are always pleasant to visit and have a wonder round. A little expensive compared to what you can get online, but at least you get to see everything and look at the variety.
A. S.
Nice place but totally over priced for what they have in store. Ok if you are a millionaire.
S. Y.
The garden center itself seems pretty good. There's lots of plants and as you would expect, garden furniture, decorative items and tools.
The cafe however was terrible. The service is pretty poor, with 3 girls behind the food counter completely ignoring us and the lad on the till (harry) having the attention span of a gold fish.
Unfortunately within an hour of leaving, I also started to feel a little unwell. A few hours later I really wasn't well at all.
I like the garden center and will go back to buy flowers etc again, but I definitely won't be visiting the cafe.
R. G.
This is for the resaurant. Went there yesterday and had to find a menu and a table and someone to clear it. All before i had to go to the till to place our order. The food was excellent but would better justify its pricing if there was proper table service, menus on the table, clean table bases , clear dust and debris from back of chair seats. Plus large cobwebs fom lights in tea room. The place looked filthy and neglected no attention to the detail to match the food. The manager needs to provide a stronger presence on the floor.
A. F.
Very helpful staff had put aside a plant for our collection. This was as a result of an earlier visit to Brampton who had arranged this for us. Only comment would be better signage as Willington a bit of a maze for new visitors. All staff knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks.
P. H.
One of the best garden centres I've been to. Staff are really friendly. They have everything you could want for your garden and more. Couldn't recommend it more highly.
r. b.
Too long waiting for a cold sandwich in the restaurant. Anyone should be able to make a sandwich in less than 23 minutes.
D. H.
I have mobility problems due to arthritis and walk slowly using a Rollator or wheeled walker. I find sitting and arising from a chair much easier using a carver style chair with arms. The staff at Willington cafe have taken note and immediately upon sighting my wife and I approaching, one goes to bring a chair from the rear conservatory area into the cafe area. No request is needed and we are amazed at how regular and quickly it happens! It certainly makes our visits so special plus the scones are great! I love the cheese ones and the wife has fruit. We occasionally have cooked meals but just feel so comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a local trip out!!!

Breakfast was very nice and the staff were excellent, very cheerful and accommodating. Some lovely stuff in the garden centre.
N. A.
Asked for some help. Staff really knowledgeable and helpful. Would be great for the garden centre to have more than two child car parking spaces. I could not find more than that. But otherwise a great place to get plants
S. L.
Lovely garden centre, pretty bits and bobs to purhase, but, very expensive. Restaurant, service quite slow. When busy would be good if they enforced 'seat only when food or drinks purchased. As a lone traveller I am often unable to find a table as customers sit their relatives to reserve table. Having said this it is a lovely place to wonder around.
P. F.
Beginning of October and the Christmas decorations and displays are starting to appear. Lots of lovely gifts to buy, very good range of plants and shrubs. Efficient comprehensive restaurant. Great place for a quick - or relaxed sitting chatting over coffee - visit.
R. G.
Went in to buy some small plant pots, decided to treat myself to breakfast.
So glad I did, it was a brilliant breakfast & coffee.
J. K.
Lots to browse and a nice farmers style food market.
G. C.
Like most retail places that have plenty of floor space, Frost’s has adjusted very well to the new post-Covid “normal”. They have removed just enough stuff to make social distancing easy and their Café is back open and the pond terrace is a beautiful place to enjoy coffee and a cake.
S. B.
Not as good as it used to be, there's more seating in the cafe so less products. Still nice, just not as nice. Cafe is different too, there's a menu, you choose a table (you need this to order), queue, order and pay and they bring it to you, even coffee. It's a bit pricey but most places are I think. It was about £6 for a muffin and medium latte.
T. C.
Great fresh food , nice clean resturant , nice garden centre 😊
J. w.
As per usual a lovely experience. I was served in the cafe by a lovely lady called Beth who was very approachable and helpful.
We then went on to buy a Christmas tree which they had a large selection at a good price and wrapped it on site there and then to take away.
Super easy super quick.
J. H.
Went there for lunch on Tuesday 18th but there was a long queue as half the seating was closed for use
A. C.
An excellent garden centre and cafe. Good quality products, top of the range, with top of the range prices. We shop there every time we visit our son in Willington and never ve without a purchase. Bought some gathered operated Xmas lights on this visit and they are excellent.
L. W.
Very nice garden centre. Lovely food. Well set out.
H. (. B.
One of the top garden centre in Bedfordshire - for plants, equipment and food. However, Frosts are a tad expensive!
Restaurant serves excellent food and varied with season. Cheese scones are second to none!
Staff very efficient and friendly.
As a regular visitor - I highly recommend this venue!
P. S.
Beautiful garden centre, extremely friendly, helpful staff. Something for everyone.
S. H.
This garden centre is definitely high end. It has a large busy restaurant which serves breakfasts and lunches. Sunday roast lunches, cakes and muffins. The Christmas gifts are delightful, there is a clothing section also. Some lovely items. Jumpers, capes and a cute selection of winter woolen hats.
D. V.
Nice food, good prices for plants, and the ceramic pots section is impressive!
T. K.
My wide and me both enjoy making the journey from Northampton to MK, especially to visit Frosts Garden Centre.
The uniqueness of the different products on sale, and the quality of all the items, from plants, to crockery and thousands of other items on sale.
The restaurant is also very good, extremely spacious and the various cold and cooked foods. The entire place is fresh and extremely clean, a total pleasure and wonderful experience, a credit to the owners and employees.
P. B.
Clean,efficient.
Food good.
Prices steep in places.
J. L.
Brilliant as usual. Beautiful colours as soon as you walk into the plant area. Massive choice of plants. 1st class restaurant too.
G. C.
Didn't enjoy my visit. It had all changed around and it was very expensive
C. L.
Always a nice day there, lots to see and friendly staff as always! It looks as thought they're expanding in the shed / greenhouse area so stay tuned!
S. R.
Delicious lunch - Prawn & Avodado Soft Tortilla Wrap with Dressed Salad & Crisps
Was also looking for some special cards & was spoiled for choice!
Wish all of the clothing items were priced rather than having to ask Cashier.
C. S.
Met friends here for lunch about halfway between for both of us. Food absolutely fantastic still have all covid precautions in place so waited a while for our lunch but we'll worth the wait. Bought some lovely large plants for the garden as well all reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
G. G.
Enjoyed the iced latte, very refreshing. Would be nice to have Aircon though.
S. B.
Lovely garden centre with a great variety of plants and gifts.
Many Lovely dishes in the restaurant.
T. B.
Enjoyed my recent visit , plenty of variety and stock, decent food in the cafe
M. G.
Always a good experience for lunch, very nice food. It is a Very Very expensive garden centre, always buy plants and flowers somewhere else, after lunch there 🤣
E. N.
Lovely lunch can eat inside or out with plenty of tempting plants and gifts to buy
E. O.
Santa's grotto was a lot of fun again. Kids always have a great time!!
N.
Went for the Halloween pumpkin patch and totally loved it
n. T.
Large garden centre that has a small area for gifts and a large food area.
The gift area is a little basic with gimmicky adult presents and basic kids toys, puzzles and books, the size and the offerings are seasonal as Christmas's take over a large area for Christmas decorations.
The restaurant is quite big they operate inside and outside in the warmer months and do a good selection of food and cakes.
They have a reasonable sized indoor plant area with a good variety of house plants.
The outside area is partially covered and they have a good range of plants shrubs and small trees.
They carry a range of pots and a small range of garden ornaments.
The last area is an inside area carrying garden tools hand and a few mowers. This area also has things like you bird feed supplies and so garden lighting.
It's a pleasant place to walk round or have a bite to eat but very typical of most Frosts garden centres
L. L.
Place is fine with lots to see but not very impressed with their gluten free range in restaurant. When asked what I could have, was told soup or jacket potato. Didn't seem too bothered with finding out if there was anything else. Frosts at Woburn are much more accommodating
D. N.
The soup was cold so gave it back, next bowls were abit warmer but not hot.
W. M.
We went there for Sunday dinner, which was very nice and value for money.
P. O.
This place is OK for a change , I would rather have the woburn , willington is to big. But it is nice and tidy and very clean with plenty parking
L. R.
Great choice of everything love the new food hall of fish vegetables eggs and bread. Little bit expensive though
R. C.
Loved this spot. Fab food great service.
M. L.
Nice enough garden centre, plenty of choice, but nothing outstanding about it.
M. C.
An impressive range of products and a palatable range of food in the eatery make Frosts a popular destination. However, the food offering is overly expensive given it is canteen fare at best and the high prices extend into the rest of the centre. Also the one way system is irritating, forcing customers to stay longer than they need to. To sum up: good quality at a premium price but more exercise than I wanted.
a. t.
The three stars is for the good plants I purchased. This was not reflected in the quality of the food we also purchased. The Steak pie I had the misfortune to choose was probably the worse I have had since school dinners. Half the contents where fat and gristle. The remainder was tough and tasteless. The red wine gravy was thin and acidic suggesting a poor quantity red wine. All in all a very poor experience.
B. E.
Always as good as ever what are the best garden centres around our area a little bit more expensive but a plant look a lot healthier than other places
p. e.
Love a mooch round frosts, not just a garden centre, pay them a visit and you will see what I mean 😉
C. W.
Nice garden centre, with large cafe serving hot food along with tea and cake. Good selection of plants, large indoor and outdoor area. Quite pricy, but a nice trip out.
H. S.
Vegan and neat Sunday lunch with coffee. Perfect.
R. L.
Excellent breakfasts. Well-stocked (non plant) shop, but prices can be a bit steep. Good selection of plants, trees etc, with OK prices.
A. S.
Nice walk around the centre, the cafe was excellent and the food lovely, just waited a little to long for the food to arrive, but nice to see it busy
J. R.
Great lunch and amazing coffee and cake
d. n.
A warm welcome, knowledgeable staff, helpful customer sevice and a great cafeteria. What's not to like.
D. T.
Such a fantastic garden centre. It is so well laid out, great for those who need ideas on what to plant in which areas. Beautiful for a afternoon out. Nice coffee shop and gift area. Will most definitely be going back there again.
J. C.
Lovely place which we always try to visit when we come down from the North East they have some beautiful things
R. C.
Lovely centre small selection of indoor plants but plenty for outdoors.
Little restaurant serves very tasty cakes.
Plenty of parking.
T. B.
Visited to view Christmas decorations for this year. Store wasn't too busy and everyone was wearing a mask.
Set up for one way entry and exit which is good for separating the public.
G. G.
Food here is excellent. Lovely out side space too.
D. M.
Good choice of plants and they now do fruit and vegetables and frozen foods.
C. G.
A really good garden centre with friendly and helpful staff.
T. J.
Lovely things for sale. Badly set up for payment only two cashiers and a queue of people, I eventually left my stuff. Food was amazing in the cafe, but ladies seating you were not friendly nor helpful, we were sat in a draft in the shop part of the cafe, not great at all, will not return.
G. P.
Young lady think called Leeanne very helpful
T. G.
Lovely garden centre. Knowledgeable staff. Extensive variety of plants and outdoor furniture, buildings etc. Always something special going on. Good cafe/restaurant too.
G. M.
A fair selection of plants but nothing different. Outside eating available. Other concessions I store. Public facilities available. Poor signposting for the tills. This is card only no cash taken. Good sized car park.
C. w.
Had the full breakfast .have to say I was a bit disappointed it was served on a cold plate which of course means the food was at best Luke warm and some actually on the cold side and my pet hate nice runny eggs but still the white uncooked(snotty) for the price I would expect a warm plate which keeps you're good warm but having said all that I would go again just to make sure it wasn't a one off
C. T.
Great location, well stocked.
R. H.
Always enjoy my visits to Frosts. Great range of products at good prices.
a. L.
Lovely food, very well presented and tasty
Staff were very friendly and efficient and helpful. Lovely items in store.
E. C. (. r.
We had a tasty light lunch..and a walk around the garden centre which was well stocked with plants outside...the shop was being refurbished with new stock..Still expensive! The staff however were very pleasant and helpful.and everything was carefully sanitised. Thankyou.
A. B.
I wish when stores have special offers on they would have a section especially for those offers .
Frustrating when you go to pay you are told that's not in the offer , when it's been placed with said offers & is the same price .
Didn't get what I wanted as they then didn't have item I went for
R. A.
Nice place where I enjoy a cream tea on their nice outdoors terrace. It is always a pleasure to look at the beautiful plants around...
t. g.
Amazing gluten free cake, friendly helpful Staff. A lovely garden centre 👍👍
D. D.
One of the nicer garden centres local to Bedford. Plenty of variety from candles to clothing, picture frames to plant pots.
Plenty of free parking outside.
Place was very busy on my visit (Tuesday last) despite Covid, the Eat Out to Help Out scheme encouraging many. Good quality food on offer. I sat beside the pond with my cappuccino and muffin in the sunshine - bliss 😎 Very peaceful.
Friendly staff.
Wheelchair friendly.
The Covid one-way system layout had been altered by my second visit - the lack of signage confused many.
d. f.
A bit pricey but fantastic food in the restaurant
D. R.
Wide range of goods from books to garden furniture. Not the cheapest place but usually good quality and the cafe is great. Lovely food and nice seating inside and out. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the Christmas display is worth a visit just to see what theme they've used this year...which is always a closely guarded secret until unveiling!
K. P.
Really pleasant outdoor eating area near to a water feature.
Seemed an extensive garden centre.
I guess that a one-way system was in place to maintain social distancing, but we walked some distance to find our way out!
S. t. v.
Brilliant selection of both indoor and outdoor plants and pots. Also a comprehensive range of garden furniture, bbq's and sheds.
Prices are higher than others, but true quality.
T. A.
Went for lunch with some friends. Good choice on the menu. A bit pricey but the food was delicious. Very young staff but all worked extremely hard and were quick and polite.
M. R.
Always a lovely place to visit and wonder round even if you don't want to buy anything . Good café which has been extended. Prices can be a little on the expensive side.
A. K.
Lovely cuppa and cake. Always nice place to amble around
J. B.
Great place to go for plants, garden furniture, gardening essentials and meeting with friends and to visit their restaurant.
The plants are always fresh and well cared for. And, the garden accessories are good quality products. There's also a huge range of cards, silk flowers, vases, etc, etc.
The food in the restaurant is good although it can can be a tad on the expensive side.
Good tea and coffee selection.
All in all, a good place to visit.
S. M.
I was there for around four Hrs. The staff was very good and understanding in your needs
L. C.
Love it here, always a great selection of plants. Nice café too!
N. V.
Beautiful garden centre, has a wide variety of plants and accessories, etc. Kind, friendly and very helpful staff. One of my favourites to visit, even if for simply relaxing at the pond side cafe.
N.
Nice garden centre. Could have more to offer in terms of food.
J. R.
Lovely garden centre amazing selection of plants. You would definitely find whatever you are looking for.
L. B.
Loved it x wonderful 60th birthday afternoon tea and even brought a few plants 😁
C. P.
Staff so friendly and helpful. Lovely food in restaurant didn't have to wait long. Lovely Christmas displays.
J. W.
Lovely to get back out there after lockdown. Great to have coffee out in the open in the sunshine. However, didn't see active cleaning of tables after people left.
L. L.
We visit here at least twice a month as its so lovely all year round. I booked to have an afternoon tea with some friends for the first time this week and it was excellent. The table was beautifully laid and the conservatory was decorated with vibrant spring flowers. It made for a perfect afternoon with friends.
m. b.
Lovely garden centre, nice cafe with reasonable prices, friendly staff and a good system in place with covid restrictions, well worth a look around.
L. A.
Usually overpriced, like all garden centres! Doesn't work terribly well for a wheelchair user. Informed staff that many elderly people were confusing the disinfectant spray outside for hand sanitiser, she responded belligerently that there's a sign saying it's for trolleys....
J. D.
Staff incredibly helpful, restaurant is excellent
b. t.
Had a great experience with Frost's in Willington. I bought a water feature, which did not work appropriately, however Clare at Willington was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent customer service.
P. W.
Lovely Sunday afternoon trip to Frosts. The store was well presented and we found what we were looking for. Staff were friendly and answered all questions we had regarding house plants. Cafe was closing so little stock left but managed to get a sausage roll & slice of cake, both were very tasty.
M. S.
All garden plants had a notice mentioning that ALL were half price. It did not mention anywhere you only got one at half price so l wasted valuable time selecting plants and only found out the small print in a notification at the counter. The deliberate misrepresentation ensured l never return
D. F.
The restaurant is great and well-run with very well trained and helpful staff. It's a little on the pricey side. The rest of the centre is well laid out with lots to choose from with everything from large garden ornaments to children's books. Again, epect to pay at least 50% more than you would it you were to buy it online but the people that do buy from Frosts do so because they know exactly what they're getting. Frosts is always worth a trip at Christmas as they have an amazing selection of decorations and their Christmas displays are loved by my kids.
G. W.
Great cafe. Always has quality goods as well as plants and shrubs. I visited at Christmas time and the place was full of high quality decorations and lights. There was a Santa’s grotto as well for the younger ones. They also had a large selection of Christmas trees, offering many different types and sizes. There was also some real Christmas wreaths which looked of a high standard. If you visit regularly they do have a loyalty scheme, getting you 10% of purchases
L. M.
Visited on Easter Bank Holiday Monday with our daughter, her husband and three children, plus my mother. It was busy but we found eight seats across two tables in the restaurant. We liked the choice of goods to purchase and the gardening section was excellent. Lots of parking and an overflow area.
T. D.
Great garden centre, visited for the cafe and the food was excellent as ever, 1 star missing as we arrived in the 30 minutes between stopping serving breakfast and starting lunch which seems strange, were able to get a sandwich though.
H. D.
A very good, dog friendly well stocked centre for plants as well as gifts etc. The cafe facilities are excellent, I particularly like the relaxed atmosphere and being able to look out on the large ornamental pond with some stunning fish in it. The access for the disabled and provided wheelchairs is very good too. Tends to be more expensive than other centres in the area but the quality is good.☺️
J. T.
Meeting with friends for coffee and scones given table number as 6 of us once ordered food bought to table . Staff very pleasant and a lovely afternoon
R. C.
This was our first visit to the centre since the excellent Christmas period. It has a first class restaurant serving a good range of meals and snacks. Despite being in a transitional period the centre also has an excellent range of gifts to buy. The garden side has a wide range of Spring plants and seeds with a good range of garden accessories. It's a must visit location if in the area.
G. C.
I visited just the restaurant today. The garden centre is very good with top quality plants. My review is just for the restaurant. I was underwhelmed by the choice available. I am a vegetarian but out if the 4 hot dishes on offer only one was vegetarian and that was goats cheese tart. This meal tends to be the only vegetarian meal on offer in a lot of places and this vegetarian was tired of it. Otherwise it was broccoli soup or a baked potato. There were no vegetarian baguettes available at 1pm. On a cold winter's day you could have offered veg stew, or lentil pie, etc. Other veg meals are available...just be a little inventive. Queuing could improve as well...to get the baked potato I had to stand in a very slow moving queue for roast beef meals. It turned out that the sandwiches and soup queue was a lot quicker and could also serve potatoes.
Could do better.

There seemed to be something lacking from the Christmas displays this year... last year I remember it being much more magical but this year the store seemed a little empty. We did have a very enjoyable trip to see Father Christmas including making our own stuffed toy which my daughter is delighted with.
M. A.
All what you need for the best quality and most beautiful gardening. The prices are a bit high but you get what you pay for in quality. We had an amazing breakfast meal and tea at their classy restaurent which was absolutely fantastic. The kids loved their lake full of beautiful and colourful fishes, will certainly be back again.
Y. G.
To be honest I wasn't really it before centre I was parked outside while my girlfriend was shopping it was great half an hour I listen to great music on the radio I think it was classic FM she came back with 4 beautiful mugs and a plant. She was happy I was happy we went home and had coffee in our new mugs. It was a very nice afternoon.
J. W.
Lovely local garden centre with restaurant and gifts for all occasions. Frosts puts on themes all year round, Christmas it turns to a grotto, Easter they put on egg painting and decorate the centre, Halloween they many pumpkins and creative decorations. Perfect place for all ages and even just a spot of lunch
B. D.
Some of the prices are a little more than other garden centres, but definitely good quality plants and products.
Always a delight, never a disappointment. I would always recommend Willington Garden Centre.
G. G.
Pleasant lunch - tasty carrot and coriander soup. Not the cheapest eatery of its type.
L. E.
It's a garden centre that typically now sells a bit if everything. Same as many nothing special.
a. w.
What a spellbinding place to visit before Christmas it is a magical winter wonderland. I cannot get over how friendly and professional the staff are here. We love your restaurant food and find the whole place a relaxing place to be when it’s not too busy. I want to personally thank you for helping me locate my mobile phone left behind in the ladies toilets one day (you’re customers must also be lovely people!) Thank you so much for helping us yesterday by displaying our stolen puppy poster (26/1/19) in your staff room he was found safe and well later the same day 🐾❤️🐾
R. B.
Visited 23.10.2018 for the Christmas displays for ideas & inspiration (and spending money!) in readiness for a Merry Christmas 2018. Frost's didn't disappoint. All sections are almost now Christmas themed. The decorations are predominantly Gisela Graham & very reasonably priced. Other treasures can be found that are selected from other festive suppliers & the list of brands is simply too long to go into here. Each section is it's own colour theme as well as displaying what colours work together. Many types of artificial trees, wreaths, garlands, lights etc are in abundance & many beautiful. I'm going for white & silver this year but it was too easy to get distracted by something in a colour other than I needed. But that's the fun of it! My Grandson was enthralled by huge Santa's, battery operated villages, shops, ice skaters, charges, carousels that he watched it surround him in a central perspex bubble until other parents & children saw it & formed a queue! See photo. There's a singing reindeer, a talking postbox for letters to Santa & much more for the children. I can't recommend Frost's highly enough & hope my new photos give you some idea of how different, yet enchanting, the displays are every year. Enjoy.

The staff and in particular Stacey could not have been more helpful and managed to maximise our discount by putting some items through separately. A great experience with entry of choice and COVID secure
A. L.
Lots of different items, from clothing to decorations, and gardening related items. Big restaurant, nice place to spend an afternoon. Staff nice to.
s. m.
Very nice garden centre and cafe but much like all garden centres it's expensive so if you have plenty of money this is a good place
B.
It's a little pricey in here, but then you generally pay for what you get.
The restaurant food is decent enough, sometimes you just wish the chef's put pride in what they prepare. Perhaps my standards are just too high for when I'm eating out and paying the sort of money we do.
P. P.
It's a great place. There were some really helpful advisors on hand. All the plants are in tiptop condition and if funds were unlimited we would have needed a truck to take home everything that we could have aspired to( including pots furnishings accessories. ... you get the idea! ).
C. T.
Xmas stuff abounds. Good coffee and cakes. Nice atmosphere. Nice to sit outside in warm weather.lots of garden products. My go-to place for coffee and cakes.watch the turn in it is tighter than it was and two way now. The old exit is still there.
A. R.
Went with family for a meal, veg was cold, 5 out of 7 got meals before veg ran out. Was told the other 2 would be brought over. After 20 minutes these meals arrived. Of course everyone else had finished and ready for cake!
Staff seemed to be all kids who really looked as if they didn't want to be there, unfriendly and unhelpful.
G. C.
Love Frosts, great little friendly Garden center and awesome cafe too! :)
The boy loves to run around here and the staff are great at letting him.
Wide selection of plants and seeds and all the important bits you'd expect at a Garden Center.
We will spend much time there over the coming months as we prepare our garden for the year ahead!
S. B.
A good local garden centre that has got a good grip on shopping whilst distancing.
Visited a week after garden centres were allowed to reopen from Covid lockdown. Staff we welcoming everyone at the front of the store to let you know procedures (with room to queue if needed). Inside much of the original layout was unchanged, save for the necessary areas being closed due to covid. The same great array of house plants (including a good selection of air plants) and gifts are on display with plenty of space to browse.
Outside, it was good to see a nice selection of new seasonal plants on display, with few noticeable gaps in the range of other plants. As a whole, they seem to have most plants you might be looking for, or something similar. Some prices can be a little high, but this seems reflected in other centres atm too. Frosts do often have a better range than some other local centres too.
Checkout was well managed, with staff safely handling everything i you trolly whilst you wait a safe distance away until ready to pay. Great to see it handled so smoothly. In the current climate, will happily shop here.
J. R.
The latest layout is much better than the last revision, cakes are great, and book choices good
S. H.
Loads of parking, friendly and helpful staff. A good range of products including a restaurant so you'll find yourself spending more time here than you planned if you are anything like us
A. C.
A wonderful garden centre..it has everything there - including a big sand pit, especially to amuse the children (in summer). Fantastic outbuildings but have seen them cheaper (all garden centres tend to charge more than independent retailers)! Of course it as a cafe, a lovely cafe, but stops serving hot food at 3pm (that was on Sunday). Be assured that the food is yummy! Seating in and out which is overlooking a pond which has plenty of koi carp, hoping for a bite to eat....beautiful setting.
Plenty of parking.
Yep...I have changed my mind about this place. I have been a few times (cannot keep away, now..lol) and love the place..have spent quite alot of money in here. Good range of plants and fine specimens too. Staff are friendly and welcoming and cannot do enough to help. Be sure to call in....you won't be disappointed.
D. H.
Excellent service, bought what we went for and a helpful member of staff carried it to the car for us. Alan in the BBQ section was very knowledgeable. Will return :)
J.
Disappointed with this trip, not as it used to be ! Moved on to Roxton garden centre, wow chalk & cheese. Brilliant centre with a massive variety of everything you will ever want. Go to garden centre from now on.
C.
It’s a big size garden and home store with many products available to purchase at competitive prices. It’s similar to other nearby garden centres with the same products and brands as them but I’ve seen better at other retailers. I found there was not much choice in terms of flowers or special plants however would recommend visiting here for a nice day out or if passing by the area. It was okay.
P. P.
Afternoon tea.
We had afternoon tea here 2 years ago and found it far superior to what we were served this week.
Previously the savoury items were served first and then the sweet items were produced later, both on the 3 tier platters. This week it all came together on one 3 tier platter.
Food was ok but they are obviosly cutting back on the volume of food served. Not cheap at £35.90 for 2 people.
N. W.
I used to love going to this garden centre with my parents, just to see the koi in the huge pond. But as I have got older, I enjoy the rest of the garden centre as well. The prices are average for most garden centres. But you can also be assured of quality at Frosts.
Plenty of parking as well with easy access for disabled visitors.
M. N.
Had a great breakfast, served in good time, and had a browse, bought few bits and bobs.
A. B.
Went today for the beach. Free entry, but much smaller sand pit this year than in previous. Did have a mini golf course (£2 payable), and lots of Cozy Coupe cars to play with.
Buckets, spades, and dumper trucks were all available in the sand pit.
Small concession stand offering hot and cold drinks, as well as a selection of wrapped ice lollies.
Kept my children, as well as their cousins, entertained for a good 2.5 hrs. Ages from 13 to 3.
L. M.
Great selection of plants, gifts & garden accessories. Restaurant is lovely. More expensive than other places but you get what you pay for.
S. O.
It was quiet when we visited, lot's of beautiful plants and trees, we bought a lovely bird table and solar lights. Clean and well organised.
A. C.
With all the wind we've been getting I needed something to secure my peonies. Found exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Lovely choice of plants as well.
A. D.
Lovely place though was a little disappointed with my jacket potato. The Marie rose sauce on my prawns didn't taste of anything. Not enough of it.
J. B.
Lovely friendly team, great garden centre with excellent restaurant overlooking a pond with fantastic variety of fish, courses for Adults/Children, wonderful array of plants, garden furniture, toys & clothes for Adults & Children. Worthy of a visit with disabled access, parking & lots to do & see. 😃😊
L. M.
What an amazing garden centre! It's big and there is everything you will need for your garden. So many varieties of plants and a large selection of tools. I didn't have time to look around everywhere nor to try the coffee shop but I will next time.
B. R.
Very helpful staff. A lot of store unaccessible as they are refitting. Annoying one way system to tills as I was only browsing lost a star.
N. k.
A decent garden centre usually, however very limited selection around Christmas as the stock is changed for the festive seasonal focus.
Contains a cafe, which is very good when not too busy, and has a selection of various non-garden items within the covered area of the centre.
Sizeable outdoor area contains the selection of plants, pots and other hard landscaping materials which can vary seasonally.
My main criticism is that the store does have a website but does not list their stock on here, so it's a gamble as to whether they will have the item you need or if it will be a wasted trip.
All in all, not bad, but needs to be brought into the 21st century with respect to it's website.
D. B.
Large garden centre with a wide range of plants and gardening equipment. Lots of other departments too ranging from toys to kitchen ware. Good cafe.
A. D.
This is one of the best garden centres I've been to.
It's got a great selection of outdoor furniture, plants and kitchen equipment.
I also really like the quality and selection of food. From salads, coffee/cakes and a hot food counter.
S. L.
Nice shop, staff are nice and restaurant is great. We took our son to Santa's grotto today which was fab and very well organised.
Only given 4 stars as think the baby change from should be better lit and larger.
T. S.
Beautiful garden centre full of lovely, healthy looking plants. A little pricey, but if you want cheap plants that'll probably die in a couple of weeks, go to B&M! I'll be going again 👍
C. C.
Such a lovely shop to visit
c. H.
Unfortunately not a lot of stock in the Christmas decorations. No out door lights. I'm sure its because a lot more people have decided to decorate their homes and lots started early. But was disappointed as normally lots on display.
T. W.
The hot meal was ok. Nothing special and not very hot but what was most disappointing is that it's now £9.95 or thereabouts for just the main meal. I had gammon, roast potatoes and assorted veg with a spoonful of gravy. We ordered a child's meal too and it was as large as ours! We come here quite often but it doesn't seem as good lately and definitely more expensive. Especially if you want to add a drink too and maybe a pudding in top of the almost £10 main.
L. A.
Lovely Christmas displays. We went too visit Santa with 2 boys, aged 3 & 8. They both loved the experience but the 8year old struggled to find a gift - plenty for that age group girls though. Christmas decorations were half price as well!
M.
Good quality plants and garden furniture. Lots of other interesting bits and pieces. Premium end of the market so expect to pay for quality! Need a few hours to look round properly and then cake and tea to finish off!
J. K.
Restaurant was very good with lots of tables and space. Lots on offer in Garden Centre... Slightly on the expensive side..
M. J.
Not a large choice of mains or desserts, but when our Bacon steak with new potatoes and fresh salad came it was very good.
J. M.
Lovely garden centre. Good quality plants with a good choice and lots of gifts and non-plant related items to browse through. Only criticism is that it's a bit on the expensive side so we didn't buy anything.
K. W.
Could not have asked for more patient lovely staff. Helped me pick out a tree and weigh up options despite it being 20 minutes before closing time. Everyone was super cheery and the tools stayed open till the last possible minute while I ran back to grab the last thing I forgot. Fantastic all round!
p. k.
It's a typical over priced garden centre
D. K.
Thank you Amber for your help and assistance in getting our outstanding issue with our garden furniture resolved.
With your and Ollie’s interception prevented a formal complaint being lodged and handled it with understanding whilst supporting your company and directing the matter into Rebecca.
Thank you both, and Amber thank you for calling again the following day to clarify that we had been spoken to and the matter was being dealt with you are a total credit to your employer.
Frosts have resolved the issue and all have delivered above and beyond our expectations.
J. W.
Brilliant. Such a friendly welcome. Dogs allowed. Lots of lovely things to look at and buy and the restaurant was excellent
D. F.
Show room looks so well merchandised and displayed a real pleasure to walk around.
b. h.
Nice Quiet at moment even though i visited on a sunday ,so good social distancing .
The only quibble i have is .
You ask politely for customers not to handle items,as to stay safe, but a lot of items are not priced and no ticket on shelf , therefore customers, myself included are having to seach the item for a non existent price .
But i love frosts all the same
A. M.
A good size garden centre with restaurant, free car park and shop with garden clothes and gifts etc. Wide range of plants and gardening equipment. Staff have always been helpful when I have needed help. Kids might enjoy a visit - especially around Christmas.
J. W.
I had lunch with my family, very good food and drink I was also looking for Pansies but they had sold out, I found some elsewhere eventually.
n. g.
Had a superb breakfast with my husband and 3 children, in an igloo, as a Christmas treat. Amazing food, service fantastic.......... Thank you, really felt like a festive treat!!
S. M.
Love this garden centre. The staff are friendly and it has a lovely atmosphere if you want to sit in the cafe for tea and cake. Also, it's just nice to wander around.
K. Y.
Love going here it has all you need to make your garden pace look great. Staff are very knowledgeable. Staff are friendly all was a happy place to go too.
They have a small restaurant that is very busy.
A. G.
Lovely garden centre. Purchased some nice mothers day gifts. Was a long queue for the till but it moved quickly.
M. C.
This is our go-to-place for plants. A little bit more expensive, but the plants are healthier and therefore don't die on us shortly after planting in our garden. Also great for Christmas presents that are a little bit different.
J. P.
Was very nice there all Christmas stock was out, so be prepaid to spend a furtune.
L. H.
This just has to be the best garden centre I have ever stepped foot in! They have cards and gift wrapping as well as great gift ideas. A good range of homeware to choose from covering different styles. A clothes section for men and women including Joules clothing. In winter they have a winter wonderland with Santa and all their decorations it's great! They do a Santa paws day too for your lovely furry friends. There are many indoor plants to choose from and a wide variety of outdoor plants in the large area out the back which is worth exploring! They have a range of outdoor accessories from paving slabs to sheds and summer houses. And for the best bit.... The cafe is fantastic! They have a private area for afternoon tea which is just lovely and only afternoon tea guests can sit in there, the rest of the restaurant/cafe area is also very beautiful they have a great choice of seating (not all the same standard table and chairs) and a beautiful outdoor area where you can sit outside and enjoy your lunch. You can have a hot drink and cake which all look devine or splash out on a cooked lunch why not make a whole day out visiting this garden centre? I can't get enough of it! 5*
A. S.
Take my 3yo daughter here all the time. She loves the restaurant overlooking the carp fish and the outdoor play area and the well stocked toy and book sections..... and the Christmas setup is awesome
D. K.
Pricey, but one of the best garden centres in the region. Kids love it there around Christmas
J. S.
Lovely afternoon tea for £18.95, very good value 12 Nov 2021
R. C.
Lovely garden centre run by a great team. Good approach to social distancing. Great quality plants. Plus lots of other great products and gifts.
A. K.
Me and my mum love a good trip to frosts. I have a thing for indoor plants and frosts definitely doesn't help my addiction 🤣 lovely for a day out when its warm
C. S.
Great restaurant/ cafe, but I had to clear a table myself. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful but a lady in the garden supplies area was very rude, slamming a wooden pallet down in front of me in a most inconsiderate fashion. I was taken aback at her rudeness.
S. S.
Lovely christmas displays wide range of gifts, tree decorations, linens, toys and books and foodie gifts.
Only problem trolley which I was using was too big to get along side some of the displays would be impossible for wheelchair user to be independant
R.
Good garden centre. Went when the sand pit was there which was free plus little tike cars etc to play with. Lots to look round the garden centre. Food isn't that bad there cakes always look yummy and salads are good too. Good at Christmas 😊
J. F.
6 quid for a sausage baguette is a lot of money . Totally disappointed bread was over baked . Sausages were nice tho . Lovely clean cafe tho
W. M.
Visit Santa here every year. It's a bit pricier than other venues but you get what you pay for. Lots of fun and a decent gift for your child. Will book again next year.
C. W.
You get so much to look at here, restaurant is pretty good too. Way too easy to spend more than you mean to though, quality items
D. L.
Always makes me feel Christmas spirit at this time of year. But it is a little pricey
A. M.
A fabulous array of goods for home and garden, spaciously laid out, along with an excellent restaurant serving both hot and cold food with indoor and outdoor seating. In good weather the garden restaurant seating by the lake is a must...
S.
After having trouble ordering online, we ordered at the counter and our food was lovely, the coffee could have been a bit warmer, but otherwise we all enjoyed our lunch here
h.
Very pleasant store environment with friendly staff and lots of free parking. You could probably buy items cheaper at High Street stores like B&Q but Frosts is a local business which we should support plus the atmosphere here is very different from large corporations.
J. P.
Popped in while passing through, looked like an interesting place and wasn't disappointed! Nice selection of plants, garden ornaments and sheds.
C.
Nice for a spot of lunch and a little shop, me and my friend had the bacon steak which was incredible! Highly recommend
J. H.
Good, but should make sure customers don't sit down before they have their meal as no where for customers before them to sit, as our experience today. Especially In busy times. 1130am - 2pm
T. W.
Love this garden centre, the coffee shop and restaurant are wonderful. The are all ready for Wimbledon. Their cakes are to die for. They have so much in the garden centre I always come away with more than I went for.
c. s.
To the reviewer who posted “diabolical prices” etc Poundland / car boots this way>>>>>>
Excellent garden centre and restaurant, run by friendly, helpful and attentive staff.
Price in the restaurant and garden centre products are really no more expensive than other such establishments, Frosts know they need to be competitive.
C. M.
Only went to get pruning scissors but ended up buy a lot more so many good priced things very good value
J. H.
Great coffee and cake in the cafe, good vegan option. Dog friendly and very lovely in the Christmas period.
M. R.
Enjoyed it the plants are beautiful well maintained went for a cream tea in the food well which was lovely and even bought myself a dress nice place to visit
E. c.
Very high class. Bought a roald dahl rose, a large pot, two bags of soil, a cactus, a pot for this, a spatula and two sale items. The products are high quality and will last a life time. Also thoroughly enjoyed the cafe. Tried the prawn baguette. I give it 5 stars over all.
A. B. (. S. D.
Great place to buy your flowers and gardening gifts. Has a great coffee shop with loads of fresh cakes to choose from as well as meals.
H. S.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Good mix of Garden and gifts. Cafe is great with a wide selection and actually just a nice trip out. Always something to do for the children.
R. O.
Absolutely marvelous garden center. I would say one of the best I've been 2020. Great selection, very clean and tidy and the plants looked ravishing. Brilliant staff. 10/10.
V. T.
Every thing you can think off all under 1 roof
J. C.
I have always found Frosts to be a great place to go for anything garden related. The range they have is massive and I rarely don't find what I need. However, they are at the higher end of the price point and I feel that the quality rarely justifies the increased cost compared with their competitors.
H. W.
Lovely service from the staff. So good that I asked one of the ladies what her name was. I'm sure her name was Jo, but she made sure I felt right at home and worked around me and my friends so politely. Lovely young lady to have on your team Frosts. Something to learn from her.
M. I.
Spent a lovely couple of hours at the Christmas special night tonight. Lovely cakes and coffee in the cafe, nice live band singing and the school children singing was amazing they, there parent and school should be very proud but to be honest I think there teacher enjoyed it as much as they did it was a fantastic Christmas spirt throughout, picked up some great decorations and presents for Christmas will definitely return next year
R. B.
Staff and food here are great
S. D.
Called in to the Cafe as we were passing. The best hot chocolate we had tasted in ages. The fruit scones are enormous and very nice.
B. E.
Great lunch.Social distancing all in place, plus a well stocked interesting selection of plants
and a helpful assistant.Be there again soon.
R. R.
Took grandson to Santa's grotto, the elves are great, they talk to the kids and make an effort to involve them. Grandson made a lovely cuddly toy, met Father Christmas and had a great time - even though he wasn't feeling well with a cold.
M.
Some good sales when we visited. Well organised and clean. Plenty of places to park and easy access.
K. B.
GREAT food!! Beautiful scenery, lakes. Very spacious. A robin lives inside. Takes himself off for food and comes back into the restraurant area, very tame. Would deffiently go back, especially in the summer.
S. W.
Great café and restaurant, along with a fantastic range of plants and other items for sale.
J. T.
Lovely tea, coffee and cake, plenty of merchandise to browse and purchase, friendly staff.
E. N.
Lovely garden centre. Very good restaurant, beautiful plants and lots of gifts, clothing, books and kitchen ware. More than just a garden centre.
S. A.
Our local garden centre. Always great service both in the garden centre and restaurant.
My go to place for coffee or breakfast.
V. H.
Today we had not enough ventilation, i appreciate that it was windy but the restaurant area was rather packed. Would appreciate if staff bringing drinks/food etc to tables wore masks.
P. G.
Nice Garden Centre, good coffee shop. Some of the plants are rediculasly expensive, they must be trying to recoup loses from the shut down.
M. I.
Sprawling parking facilities. Well laid out products and a very very good plant selection. Hoping to come back when the restaurant is open
p. P.
Lovely really enjoyed visit yesterday restaurant lovely food great bit on the expensive side but worth it. The Christmas things are amazing well worth a visit .I spent 3 hours here
S. C.
Santa's Grotto was brilliant!! All the staff made it a great experience for my Grandaughter. The setting was very well done. Pleased with the gifts too.
J. B.
Went to see Santa. It's pretty great actually. Didn't realise there would lots of elf talk and activities. Only thing I'd have prefered is you got more time with santa. But I do get why they have to be quick and my kids still loved it. Good value for money.
R. S.
Helpful staff good food. Nice salection of plants and shrubs. Lots of good quality gift ideas on display. Nice place too meet friends and family.
j.
This has everything for the garden and more. It's more pricey though. Would had been nice to hear a 'Hello ' at checkout till and a 'Thanku' would had been appreciated but guess that's too much to ask these days!
A. H.
Amazing place with lots of various plants, pots, furniture and beyond! Highly recommend and will be going there again
G. P.
For a person with Gluten an Dairy free intolerances, there were no choices - cake wise. If you are without intolerances, then there are an abundance of choices of savory and sweet options.
A. F.
My favourite shop! Obviously they are changing the seasonal goods at the moment but I still found everything I needed and more!
K. R.
Well I went to Willington today and I was pleasantly surprised my normal brouse at things that are very overpriced turned into a pleasant shopping spree.
Everything is what I would call reasonably priced so they have taken note of the current climate and are having a 're think so good job Willington garden centre frosts.
B. C.
Very good large garden centre with a good cafe/restaurant and wide variety of plants plus helpful staff makes this a good place to go for a couple of hours.
P. B.
Its a lovely big garden nursery & they have lots of other things to like cards, clothes , crockery & also a caffe.
H.
Went for lunch after half an hour questioned where food was, ticket had gotten lost, food good
,ridiculous one way sysyem to tills, not necessary and having a husband who struggles to walk far made his visit uncomfortable
C. R.
Lovely selection of plants. Nice cafe but VERY slow service.
K. B.
Cafe is 5*, but garden centre itself isn't anything too special. Visited mid October and 90% of it was already Christmas stock, was quite disappointing as we wanted to see the normal range of items.
t. p.
All ok,nice lunch time food.can be a bit
Pricey. £11.95 Sun lunch.roast gammon.
Same quality two miles up road.£8.95 ?
m. c.
A good selection of plants. Free parking. Restaurant open and well organised. Sandpit closed because of Covid. One way walking around centre.
F. R.
Love the cafe, the Christmas stuff is always beautiful and the sand pit in the summer is great. Good selection of books and gifts to browse but don't really use it for plants
T. B.
Good selection of plants and horticultural supplies.Popular resturant with view over carp pond and beautiful trees. Nice place to shop or have coffee and cake.
K. S.
Nice garden centre to visit ,having resurfacing work done in the car park at the moment Changeover to Christmas just starting Excellent restaurant pleasant area outside to eat by large pond ,loads of plants and shrubs surrounding the pond Plants not too expensive compared to some Nice things to buy for gifts Waiting for Xmas displays Very nice Xmas decorations at reasonable prices Worth a visit

Lots of interesting things to look at and a lovely cup of tea to round off an enjoyable visit.
J. E.
Outstanding customer service! Really impressed with staff knowledge and their willingness to help me out. We had a very positive experience and I would highly recommend

E. C.

Service was okay within the cafe, I found the prices okay for the food quality.
t. s.
Love this garden centre, the sand pit for children is especially great fun. The food in the cafe is great and staff very helpful. A good afternoon or morning out every time.

A destination garden centre - reasonably well-stocked. Very helpful staff even on a hot, Bank Holiday weekend. Cakes are frighteningly sweet!

Frosts is a wonderful place to shop Christmas goods if your wallet is sufficiently full. High quality products that look the part. They also run a Santa's grotto, which is ticketed. They also keep real reindeers (saw two of them at Frosts Willington) too... obviously not for sale...

Lovely gardern centre bit different

It's always lovely to go to the garden centre. It's all decked out for Christmas, beautiful.

Good service... pity about the cooked breakfast. Fried egg totally turned into jelly as had been kept warm for far too long.

Lovely place to go to meet up friends for coffee and cake,

They're dog friendly. Despite it being a bit cold, we were able to take our dog out in their garden and have a nice lunch by the pond.

Very good meal in the restaurant with friendly staff. Social distancing is in place throughout but this does not adversely affect your visit.

We come here often. Staff and customer service is brilliant. Food can be a bit expensive (pannis/jacket potatoes) but the coffee and cakes are great.

Love this place, lots to look at although the prices can be a little over the top. The cakes in the cafe are hit and miss. Sometimes quite dry/stale but overall a lovely place to visit

They have really made an effort with the Christmas displays. All looked very well laid out.

Went to the bird painting half term experience great fun for kids, only reason I did not give 5 stars was there was no signage on what doors to go through, or where to enter, or whether you waited outside to be called, lots of people feeling the same.

Lovely cafe and friendly staff

Excellent selection of plants and all well looked after and maintained. Look forward to visiting more in the future!

Frosts is a good garden centre the cafe you can get plenty to choose from food wise they also do gluten free food, the lay out is good to walk around with prams and wheel chairs

J. C.
Vast array of goodies. Excellent quality plants. Beautifully displayed

Disappointed with Santa's Grotto this year as each family went separately to see Santa and only had the time it takes for two photographs to be taken. The presents that had to be chosen in advance weren't even wrapped, so no surprise Christmas morning. Previously Santa and the Elves told a story to all the children about the reindeer, which they all enjoyed.

Very nice place, I came to find some unusual orchid varieties but as many others garden centers the choice was quite limited, great place to buy any sort of houseplant or plants for the garden.
C. L.
Was a nice place, the staff were helpful and courteous: as I had arrived just as they took away the breakfast menu and upon asking they still let me have a breakfast.. But my egg was under cooked and my sausage and bacon was Luke warm 😐

Booked to see Father Christmas, lovely experience especially with all the Covid restrictions.

First class service. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Friendly, knowledge and helpful staff, from the greeting when you first arrive till the " thank you" when you leave. Best in the area.

We went here for breakfast, lot of variety on the menu, we were not disappointed

More of a giant gift shop than a traditional garden centre. Nice café/coffee shop. The plants etc are all there, but pushed right out the back.
T. H.
Had an afternoon tea there today sat in garden which meant we could take our dog too. They were very nice and food was fabulous
P. U.

Visited for the Santa's workshop. Great staff, little ones enjoyed it but stuffing our own bears was a bit too much like manual labour lol!
J. L.
Little expensive but quite nice. Small pot of side salad did look a bit dry/unfresh.
