We received great service form British Soil for some engineered soil we required for a SUDS rain garden in a new build house in Talbot Green(council requirement).The price ,quality and delivery were all excellent-the rain garden is now thriving and the RCT engineers were very pleased with the scheme as completed. Such a friendly and helpful place. I called out of hours and a lovely lady called me back as soon as they opened to see if she could help. She helped me order the right amount of turf and arranged a time with me to collect. Collection was very quick and efficient and a lovely young man even helped me load it into my car. I could not recommend this place highly enough for customer service.

Great experience all round. Point of sale staff friendly efficient and very knowledgeable. Pre-delivery phone call to me to check all was okay was fantastic for my scheduling as well as theirs. Delivery driver was very friendly and helpful. Topsoil was bagged well and was dry - a big plus. I have previously bought gravel from this company and had an equally good experience with that. Happy to recommend them.

We recently had turf delivered for our daughter's garden. From point of contact the service has been exemplary. Michelle in the office was so helpful with arranging delivery. As the turf wasn't for our address, the delivery driver called in advance to let us know he was on his way. The turf was excellent and we have been updated since with reminders re watering and any questions we had have been answered promptly. I can't recommend them enough.

The lady in the office was really kind and explained everything. The topsoil arrived with a text to say it was on the way. Contact free delivery and friendly driver. Couldn't ask for more. I've bought both top soil and turf from British Soil. After calling up both times I've been given a quote over the phone, which has always been far less than I was expecting to pay. The lady in the office is always polite and helpful. Payment was taken over the phone and collection was contact-free (due to the pandemic). Both soil and turf are top quality. I will definitely be coming here again for any garden projects.

Let's be honest, paying for goods and services upfront nowadays is a lottery at best so I was very pleasantly surprised with the service that I received from British Soil. My 30 sq Mts of turf arrived on the promised date with a phone call from the driver beforehand. With the new lawn laid, the result looks fantastic. I generally only get to write negative reviews and letters of complaint for dreadful service but I am making a welcome exception for British Soil on this occasion. Spoke to Sharon in the office, (holding the fort) she was very helpful, as she started mentioning measurements in qubic ft, I was totally lost in transit by then! She then got me on the right path with amounts of bags of topsoil that I would need, also explained a quick route to the site, very easy procedure as paying over the phone and then picking up, will definitely use again and recommend to others. I asked a designer at the RHS Show where they got the topsoil for the show and I went along this morning to British Soil and they are so helpful! They do a few different types of soil, the lady was really knowledgeable and a chap helped me load my car. I shall be back for gravel! Thank you. ps I've never written a review before but this company deserves a mention!

I ordered 2 cubic yards of SS2 topsoil for use under lawn turf. The delivery was on time, and the driver helpful. However after moving the loose product, it became clear that the bulk of this product is wood chippings. I hope my turf will take, as this product resembles chippings rather than topsoil. I chose another supplier for turf, as didn't want to take the risk with this supplier.

Amazing company, friendly and helpful. I had several deliveries off British Soil, some of them very last minute as I realised my calculations were slightly off. They even mixed some sand and gravel for a shed base. Great prices, excellent quality topsoil and turf, huge thank you to everyone I dealt with :)

Always a good place to visit. You can't fault the welcome at reception ,especially with a free hot drink. Prices are favourable, plus it's near to where I work.
