What a lovely garden centre, I have lived locally for years and came across this by chance. They have some fantastic plants and deals on at the moment. Theres a lovely on site cafe with outdoor seating, haven't tried it yet but definitely will on our next visit. The ladies on the tills are smiley and happy, this definitely made our buying experience thoroughly enjoyable. Will upload pictures once I've finished the planting. See you on our next visit👍 27/8/22 Wowwwwww, called in for a quick bite to eat. Ham & cheese and Tuna mayonnaise these look and taste amazing.. Definitely worth coming back for another visit and worth every penny 👍 You must try their cakes, the coffee & walnut is amazing 😋

Took my elderly mum for a cappuccino two days ago and a cream scone. The counter staff were fabulous very efficient, friendly and attentive. The cappuccinos are fab served at correct temperature. The garden centre is fabulous, huge selection of plants trees and just about everything garden you could think of. We will definitely be back, my 82 year old Mum loved the accesability and selection. Many thanks for a great start to my mums day.

Best garden center in Coventry area by far. First, it’s family owned, which makes me happier every time I spend money here. But it’s also a beautiful place with plenty of variety, and to top it al up, very competitive prices, specially if you compare it to other big chains! Lovely big beautiful parking lot and every single employee is smiling, chatting and having a good time. Best garden center.

Good service, we wanted something that had been put in store room to make room for the Christmas decorations and straight away the gentleman working there went off and found them, bringing them out for us to see. First rate service from all the staff ........really friendly and helpful.

This is one of the few garden centres that prices things appropriately, and not extortionately, in particular, the houseplants. They also have a brilliant houseplant selection that is very varied, with some rare types too, if you're into that sort of thing.

This garden centre is excellent if you are looking for all things garden. They stock everything from plants (indoor and outside), furniture, pots, homeware, seeds, paving, chippings and garden ornaments. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is also an excellent cafe too. Cannot recommend enough. A great place.

Great place for coffee and catch up. Friendly, relaxing atmosphere, time given to appreciate delicious cakes and sip your favourite beverage. Great also for breakfast with heartwarming hot chocolate. Delicious bacon and tomato baps. So many stunning plants to look at especially with the winter bedding available plus the assortment of bulbs to plant ready for spring. Great cake selection not to mention the American pancakes with maple syrup!

First visit to this garden centre and was pleasantly surprised how inviting and modern this place is. Lovely selection of plants, yes maybe not the biggest selection in comparison to other garden centres, but the plants all looked very healthy and seemed reasonable priced. Fantastic selection of plant pots and accessories- will definitely return for a good browse through the pots. Great little cafe with very helpful staff, tables well distanced to allow some privacy and social distance. - the indoor plant section was fabulous, the gift area was lovely - though some items seemed a bit pricey (however keeping in mind that if they are locally produced by a small company that this understandable). Very helpful staff when trying to find specific items.

Have been a regular customer over many years, but it is now much too expensive. No bulk bedding plants available at reasonable prices. Basic potting compost increased by 33%. OK for the odd gap filler but not for spring planting of a large garden.

Garden Centre always good and not a chain, which is a bonus as you're putting money into local economy. Much improved in recent years and couldn't help enough when we had a little crisis. Even sent us a card afterwards! Cafe not quite so good now and a touch less thorough on the cleaning side than they used to be.

I generally like Smith's but your cafe needs to up its game breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast last sunday was disappointing eggs not seasoned no butter added no flavour all on top of dry bread not buttered given 2 whole pats of butter! Good independent garden centre with a wide range of plants, fruit trees, garden ornaments, pots, tools, seeds and more. Everything you could want, with knowledgeable staff who are more than happy to help with any query. The cafe is a nice added bonus, and they often have seasonal displays and events.

A very positive experience as always. Plenty of space to move around whilst socially distancing. Hand sanitising and trolly cleaning facilities topped up and in good order. Friendly and helpful staff. A good selection of good quality plants on offer. The only negative is the European labelling does not identify varieties. This will not be of interest to most customers and I expect I could have asked a member of staff for help. Next time I want particular plants I will call ahead. Still my favourite nursery after nearly 30 years!

Today was our third visit and I have to say, what a lovely little garden centre. Just plants, cafe and ornaments. No cotton traders, Edinburgh wool shop!! The staff are friendly and helpful and the cafe is brilliant. The sandwiches are lovely and thick. Only negative point is the toilets. Could do with more.!

Smith’s Garden Centre is a very popular destination, especially for the outdoor covered cafe. Excellent choice of food, from just a coffee, to a full meal, and the service is excellent. Really nice atmosphere. The selection of plants is not as wide as some other garden centres, but the quality is very good. The only negative, is that at present, the toilets are closed off, which can be a problem.

Superb well stocked garden centre with a huge variety of plants, trees, furniture and a many other items to browse through. This family run centre is well worth a visit if you’re passing...also has the added bonus of a cafe with a selection of goodies to eat! The staff are excellent here and give proper good old fashioned customer service - Mick and Tara have always been really helpful but also to mention Matt who is very knowledgeable (helped the other day as we purchased a tree etc) and the very friendly delivery driver Mark who is also an asset to the business - great place! Will be back over and over again.

Great cafe in this garden centre and the garden is great too. I know I place called hilltop farm on the fosse way and there cafe was terrible with staff making you buy food you don't want. Go to smith's for great food and drinks. The cafe here at smith's is always one of the best cafe's I know. I would recormend this garden centre and cafe to anyone.

A fairly new indoor plant area with many choices, including indoor pots and they also have a good selection of stoneware, contemporary and classic styles. All family run and staff with a good knowledge of various sections.

We used to LOVE coming here, not just for the amazing selection of high quality plants (which thankfully remains just as good), but also for the wonderful little cafe. Sadly, their recent rebranding and make over isn't up to much. The layout of the cafe means that the queue at the counter is constantly in the way of serving staff trying to get food to tables, and the menu is a bit bland and samey. Such a shame, we used to rave about the quality but it's a bit average now. The sausages, bread and bacon were rather cheap tasting, you used to use lovely thick fresh bread in your sausage sandwiches, and we miss the lovely ploughman's you also used to serve.

This is a fantastic garden centre. Such a great selection of bedding plants and really good value too. I go to many garden centres but the customer service is just brilliant here. They are friendly and packed all my plants into a box. Will come back again.

The new look Garden Centre is lovely. Plants are very reasonably priced and look healthy. The Cafe looks lovely but we were disappointed with the food. BLT sandwich used to be lovely with thick bread and really nice bacon, today it was very poor. Also no salads or ploughmans on menu like there used to be. We did wait a long time for food to actually arrive and did hear people comment on the same. Hopefully this is just teething problems and food and service will pick up.

A smaller family run garden centre. Although the range of plants and other items obviously can't match the very large garden centres, everything here is well looked after. The plants all look healthy and the selection will be adequate for most gardeners. There's also a nice coffee shop with indoor and outdoor seating (dogs are allowed).

We're struggling to find a particular type of hedging till I came across smiths nursery contacting them by email with a photograph of the hedge which Mike identify for us and said he would be able to supply them. We ordered we ordered them and a few weeks later was contacted to say they were available to collect. Great service and all the staff were knowledgeable on plants and helpful.

Small but perfectly formed. We visited near Christmas so the kids could see the Reindeer and they really had gone all out to make it special with a Harry Potter theme and lots of other animals to see. A really nice selection of festive decorations were available at pretty reasonable prices.

Well we have had a super time at Smiths Magical Christmas today. There are free activities for all the family including reindeer, owls, guide dogs and Harry Potter theme. However the grotto was exceptional value only costing £8 per child and they not only get to see Santa but choose a good quality gift too. Also included in the £8 is free face painting, make your own reindeer food, balloon modelling and also an interactive cartoon art activity too! It was easy to get to and easy to park. The cafe offered delicious home cooked food and drinks too. Highly recommended.

Each year brings snowdrops, crocus and daffodils. But it also brings the excitement of what Smiths has done and achieved over their down time i.e. over the Christmas break. Well this year has Smith’s has surpassed itself. The plant display area has been revamped, new layout to reveal all those tempting, high quality plants – I can always find a space in my garden for more. But the cafe! Transformation does not do it justice. Wow seems new inadequate. Everything is new, new, new. New entrance. New furniture – love the pews. New colour scheme - soft and muted. The look is of a country kitchen. The quality of the finish is the usual Smiths high standard. It is the attention to detail and there are so many well thought out finishing touches that you will have to pay them a visit to see them for yourself. The food is as scrummy as ever. Toasted sandwiches have delicious fillings. Baked potatoes are fluffy as they should be. Now I am not a cake person but I could not resist their Victoria Sandwich. I am sure the menu will grow and change through the seasons as the cafe is newly opened. So Smiths is a gold star double whammy.
