I was asked to post a review on here for Gloaming, but I didn't need to be asked because I would gladly have done so anyway. The three guys who attended my house to remove a rather over-sized pine tree were professional and friendly. Right from the start of my enquiry, the appointment was dealt with in a competent and reliable way. On the day, the guys arrived in time and carried out the work extremely efficiently. They worked tidily and neatly, which left me feeling more than satisfied with their work. They 'go the extra mile' and I would not hesitate AT ALL to recommend them. Many thanks.

We used Gloaming to tend to a large Italian cypress tree at the front of the house we wanted significantly reducing in height, a very large leylandii hedge, and a large Cedar Tree to the rear also requiring significant reduction. We also had a large conifer removed and are delighted with James and his team's work. Highly recommend Gloaming Tree Services. Had one big Scots Pine in a small garden spanning 2 properties (one with conservatory beneath) that required felling. Worked tirelessly to remove the tree and were very friendly, efficient and took utmost care when considering the delicate task of removing the tree and its proximity to our property and next doors. Hitherto James’ professionalism, he has a wonderful manner and his knowledge of his craft and the welfare of wildlife is most impressive. Further to the work James has done for me, it has been rewarding that others in my neighbourhood noticed the work of James and have employed him and his team consistently to do several jobs. Whilst getting quotes for a tree needing pruning, I spotted the Gloaming van on the petrol station. I contacted the team and James (and his young son) came out on the Sunday (the only time I was free) to give me a quote. James said that he would check the planning permission needed and that the costs would all be included in the one quote, one price with no hidden charges. I shopped around for more quotes and found that Gloaming were very reasonable and appointed them to do the work. I left for work early in the morning and came home late in the afternoon, to find James and his team still beavering away clearing up the sawdust and leaves (I didn't realise that this was part of the service, and was expecting to do this myself). The must have worked all day solid to get the job done. Once finished, James asked if I was happy with the job and if I could leave a review for him. Well done James and the team for a cracking job!!!

My husband and I cannot praise Gloaming Tree Surgery enough .I called James in September 2018 as a large branch had fallen from a sycamore in my garden hitting my summer house .James and his team (Luke and Ian) advised would be at my property within the hour .The team arrived and made the tree safe .I told James that I had contacted Doncaster Council with regard to a planning application to possibly reduce both the sycamores in my garden (we live in a conservation area )James offered to submit the planning documentation on our behalf with no charge .Subsequently planning was passed and Gloaming carried out the proposed works in December 2018 .They are extremely proffessional and hardworking they left my garden and drive in an impeccable condition considering the amount of work carried out .We highly recommended Gloaming Tree Surgery .Once again thank you James ,Luke and Ian .
