What an amazing garden centre very well laid out good choice of plants and gifts at reasonable prices and we like the clearance section for plants I have had lots of bargains. The cafe is nice too with an outside area. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. My mum is 80 and it has made some really nice afternoons out she always enjoys it and the Christmas area and gifts are amazing too.

Large selection of healthy looking perennials, fruit trees and shrubs. Quite a few offers on ,getting it cheaper if you buy so many plants etc. Had a large selection of clematis all looked healthy. Sells composts,gravels,fencing etc. Sells fancy goods,bird stuff and has a small pet section. The cafe seemed popular and we found out they have a reward card. Also had a herb and grow your own section. A bit on the dear side but not so bad if you multi buy. I thought the gravel was dear compared to a place not too far away but the plants looked very healthy. Started putting their christmas stuff out

Visited the cafe, no ham for the toasties, no breakfast available (didn’t see a cut off time anywhere) so I ordered a tuna and cucumber sandwich, not even butter on the bread which made it super dry. My sister ordered quiche which never came with coleslaw as advertised, did ask the chef on the way out if they had it in stock as they had run out of other items but we got told they had it but must’ve forgotten…shame really because the rest of the visit was lovely!

This garden centre has a great selection of plants and garden tools at reasonable prices. Also extensive range bird feeders, bird food, planters, compost and other garden related products. A gardeners delight.

A very good garden centre with a great little café serving hot and cold dining, with lovely starters and a great selection of cakes and buns. Very spacious inside plants and garden equipment and a great outdoor selection of plants and trees. Very friendly staff who are knowledgeable on whatever you ask them and are pleased to assist you in any way they can. Well worth a visit, clean and tidy and outside seating which is handy when the weather is nice in the cafe area. Would visit again.

The vacant 5th star on this review is due to pricing, with everything being slightly overpriced but this does seem to be the trend at small garden centres, with their main custom being retired people who do not need to be concerned with how much something costs. Still it's only a slight difference in price and is a very nice place to meander with excellent plants! A cafe is attached where you can enjoy a lovely cream tea in a nice sunny conservatory, or sit outside if weather permits. Also, a well stocked craft shop is attached 👍🏻

Stock good quality products, reasonably priced. Love buying plants there & anything else that takes my fancy. They've also got some lovely Christmas decorations & lots of well shaped Christmas 🎄 from Scotland, very good condition. The staff are lovely, cheerful & helpful. Always enjoy visiting here, will be better when the café is open for coffee & lunches, it has always been very popular with visitors.

Lovely visit here first thing this morning. Nice chat with staff on tills and had all the items i was hoping to buy. Felt safe and very happy walking around, customers making way and all had masks on, but i was there early and it was lovely and quiet.

Wonderful garden centre. Plants look and are so healthy. Great displays we bought dahlias and a yellow daisy. Lots of different plants, equipment nik naks and much more. Cafe was lovely to. Fantastic variety of seasonal decorations and gifts a long with an excellent choice if plants etc for this time of year. The staff allow you to browse undisturbed to your hearts content but cannot offer more assistance when requested.

Came here to the cafe for a coffee as it's good and it's just around the corner from my Aunt's place. There's hand sanitiser on the way in. Find a free table, they will point one out. They will them come to your tabel to take your order. Service is friendly and fast. the latte's are good but not cheap at 3.25 for a large latte (a small one is very small apparently)

Had a tea party today in the coffee shop for our 21year old Autistic sons birthday. Cannot recommend highly enough the staff are so friendly and helpful, the food was gorgeous and absolute value for money. Special needs friendly at its best.

Stringers isn't the cheapest garden centre to buy your seeds and plants and garden accessories! Let's get that out of the way first. However, it's one of the best garden centers I've visited. Their products are quality. All their plants, be it flowers, veg, shrubs, trees are the finest quality. Everything I've bought and grown from Stringers has been excellent. Their other products are of a high standard too. Wether it's a spade or fork you need or maybe a new water feature. They also have ornaments for in the house and selected oak furniture items too. There's a lovely café with tasty snacks and drinks. I recommend Stringers to anyone. Go check it out, I guarantee you'll end up buying something! 😊

We had afternoon tea last week and were very disappointed. It was a treat for my grandson who had been in hospital and was very brave. To start with we had to push the tables together to accommodate us all, queue up for ages to be served, then the food came out! Oh dear, sandwiches with crusts on, only 2 choices, full size scones and buns. There was only 1 small cup of tea or coffee and the kids had small dilute orange ....no refills! It's a shame because I like stringers, their craft shop is brilliant and in the garden centre they had free face painting and the lady who did it was amazing. Go to the Bulrush to see how its done. It's more expensive but so much better.
