A much needed main-door flat “front bit” makeover to accommodate the imminent arrival of a puppy. Andy, Jamie and Eliot have done a fantastic job. They suggested the addition of a fence so we could keep pup area separate from some lovely sea breeze daisies we’d otherwise have to get rid of as they aren’t safe for dogs to eat. So we now have two separate areas - a puppy safe space and a space with a built-in seat to enjoy in the summerWork came in a bit under budget, which was a lovely surprise in the run-up to Christmas, and was finished to schedule and everything tidied up. We’re delighted with the outcome, as are our neighbours - we’ve had plenty of compliments to pass on to the company. To quote one of our neighbours, “it’s great to see proper craftsmanship”.

We used Gardening Services to create a paved front garden for us. Andy came round and discussed the various options with us and with our quote he also recommended some suppliers for the paving slabs and wall so we were able to view options. Jamie & Andy arrived on time and each day cleaned and tidied the area before leaving. During the build we were consulted throughout and Jamie suggested creating a seat from the same paving slabs and wall bricks. This is not something we had thought of and the end result is brilliant - it adds character and gives us somewhere to sit. We have had a small bed created and whilst we had some ideas about what we were to use it for Andy looked into this further for us and arranged for suggested planting details to be sent to us. There were some paving etc left over which Andy bought back from us which we were more than happy to do as we have no outside storage space. The end result is amazing, it ties in well with the property, gives us options and we have received a lot of positive comments about how it looks. We would 100% recommend Colinton Garden Services both for the quality and professionalism of the work.

We had an old, damaged lawn removed, and the ground rotavated and compost added before complete returfing. The quality of workmanship was excellent and was closely supervised throughout. The planning was first rate with the various deliveries and uplifts all happening exactly when promised. The site was kept very tidy, and I was kept up to date at all times as the work progressed. It was a very professional and excellent job.

I am delighted with the work Colinton Gardening Services did. From the beginning, Andy was empathic to what I was wanting, and helped me shape the ideas. Elliot and Molly did an amazing job turning a mud patch into a beautiful patio, with care and attention to detail. This was my first bit landscape design work I had enlisted, and they talked me through each day what they were going to be doing, we discussed the process & the decisions. I'll happily add some photos once my husband has finished building a new fence next to it!

From first contacting Andy, he was helpful, friendly and professional. We wanted a wood fence to match our existing one and Andy turned up at the appointed time to talk it through, sending his estimate shortly afterwards. The work was high quality with the team spending time to get it right and they were respectful of our neighbour’s garden also. We have asked for further work to be carried out. Highly recommended.

Colinton landscapers were easy to communicate with and friendly. They laid a new slab patio edged with granite, some turf and made 2 raised beds for us. They also made new fencing and a gate. We are very pleased with the finished result. There were setbacks with the initial fence materials and we had to start again with different rails and slats. This was resolved in a friendly way and it now looks great!

My new conservatory left the garden feeling like a building site. Andy, Molly and Elliot transformed it, clearing rubble, laying paths and patio and redefining the garden beds. They are skilful and knowledgeable. They listen to what you want and achieve it. It was a real pleasure: they are so good at what they do and such lovely people.

What a difference to our garden after the guys' diligence, care and experience revived our lame-looking back lawn and turned it into a sharp-looking new layout. They did a great job and it was a bonus to learn a few new horticultural things over a coffee

We enjoyed co-operative working with this Company of landscape gardeners, and are very satisfied with the outcome. They are locally based, which we were keen to support. Our garden, front and back, was literally a muddy blank canvas and required a mini digger and skips to clear and shape. We had in mind some trees, scrubs, and plants we were keen to introduce. A huge advantage, prior this work, was the preparation of an exact location plan of the planting, this completed by one of the workers with 8 or so years' experience with the Royal Botanical Gardens. He made many constructive recommendations, and introduced us to a much wider potential planting outcome. He, and his participating manager, who kept us well informed about the budget, regularly consulted with us as the project developed. The only quibble was a small time hiccup with the major supplier of plants - but this was not the fault of Colinton Gardening Services. Overall, a great outcome.
