Tom was a pleasure to deal with when arranging the planting of a new hedge. He was extremely knowledgeable, flexible and willing to come and go several times with quotes while we decided what to go for. Paul, who came to do the planting, was also very professional, friendly and knowledgeable and the work was done to a high standard and without any hassle. The plants themselves look good and I’m sure that they will create a nice looking hedge when spring comes and over the next few years. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Angel Horticulture again.

Tom designed and installed an amazing basement garden in our property last year - not an easy feat as it's north facing, partially beneath the steps, and doesn't get much sun (or rain). Despite the challenges, it's thriving and has completely transformed the area. Tom is a knowledgeable, talented, enthusiastic garden designer - a true professional - and he was happy to work with us, incorporating our ideas into the final design. Tom visited last Autumn, to make a thorough survey of my garden, have an in depth discussion and then deliver a detailed planting plan, a "map", which was very clear and he then ordered his plant choices on my behalf. He revisited today to inspect and give me a whole fine-tuning plan, which he emailed to me just a couple of hours later. Speaking as a very inexperienced gardener, I've found Tom to be an ideal guide, with a no-nonsense but well thought out approach. And he's got a splendid dog called Solly.

Tom was a delight to work with even through the difficulties of lockdown. He took some of our random thoughts, added his ideas, took us through it all and turned them into a virtual garden and now an absolute dream beyond our expectations. We moved into a new build house 8 years ago and having never had a garden before were a bit clueless about gardening... it showed and more plants were binned than survived over the years without any understanding of soil type, aspect, pH, etc. Cue Covid, lockdown, more time in the garden and a realisation that we really needed some assistance. Tom provided us with a Garden Consultation and it was clear that we needed him to help us further. We then commissioned Tom to provide a Planting Plan for part of our garden and were so impressed with the service and content that we then asked Tom to provide a further Planting Plan for the remainder of our garden. Tom has picked an amazing variety of plants, many of which we had no knowledge of, creating a plan suitable for our difficult clay soil and with interest throughout the year. Tom did a lovely job of designing and planting a garden for wildlife for me, after removing a lot of the unwanted wilderness already there, plus underlying geotextile. He was very helpful and knowledgable and I will be getting him back in winter to plant a hedgerow for me.

We sought Tom's help to design our garden near Stirling. As non-gardeners we wanted to improve our garden, but really didn't know where to start. Tom is very easy to work with and understood immediately what we wanted to achieve. He explained what was possible and what he thought would work. He has a great eye for design and a seemingly encyclopaedic knowledge of plants! He also sourced all of the plants and a beautiful tree for us, and was full of useful advice. We needed plants for our whole garden, but as complete novices has no idea where to start with all the options available at the garden centre. We found Tom and he made everything so simple. All we had to was provide a sketch plan, soils sample and have a video call to discuss our likes, dislikes and any quirks about our space. We received a shopping list of all the plants and quantities required as well as a detailed plan of where to plant everything. He's very knowledgeable and helpful when we had questions - would highly recommend.
