Garden Centre was lovely, had great deals, most stellar kitchen ware was half price - really good weight to them. Nice outdoor area and pretty selection of plants. Had a great lunch in the restaurant, but beware no chips are made at this particular Caulders!

Not been here for several years. What a transformation! Beautiful displays, beautiful products. Loved the gift sections. Asked a young guy for advice, who proved to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Spoke to another 2 members of staff, who were the same. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

My mum and I had a Christmas lunch in Caulders, Kirkintilloch, last week. It was delicious. Food to a high standard and as always staff were welcoming and friendly. Tables were beautifully set with a festive paper cloth and crackers

We can never fault this place. We went after it re opened during lockdown and I purchased quite a lot of plants etc. I also bought a tree which the staff were very helpful with. I paid (£5) to have it delivered which I thought was a brilliant price! Literally a few hours later the tree was in our garden! The staff are Friendly, polite and helpful and the garden centre itself has a beautiful view of the Campsies and has a lovely atmosphere!

Calders garden centre is great. Plants are always very healthy and staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The on site cafe is amazing with a good variety of food to suit all ages and tastes. We had the afternoon tea and the plates were stacked full of great tasting sandwiches and lovely cakes. Can't beat the quality and price. Will definitely be back.

Have been going here since the time it opened many years ago. Got to say after today's meal service I won't be back. Cumbernauld is streets ahead where staff are brilliant, converse very well and cheerily amazingly different and welcoming. Sorry but it's 'day and night' Colin!!

We come here nearly every Thursday as my 93yr old mother in law loves it. It can be really busy but the service is first class and the panini's are delicious. Highly recommended. The staff are fantastic too. Recommend you book to be sure of getting a table.

I popped into the Butterchurn restaurant inside Caulders. Quick Service as soon as you walk in. It appears to be run very efficiently. A Bright Spacious, clean well lit restaurant. Menu is varied and imaginative. What lets it down poorly its the price of items on the menu. At the time, £1.90 for a soft drink, £2.10 for a fruit juice with some lemonade. The prices of deluxe sandwiches and other groups of foods was similar to the price of their main course £7.50 - £8.95. One of the salads was £9.25 Either our currency is increasingly worthless, or there are big overheads to pay. Due to the hustle and bustle of the staff operation as staff constantly patrol the restaurant every couple of minutes in a square, it also doesn't feel like a relaxing experience to eat. You eat quickly then go. If there was less patrolling it may not sacrifice service response. £9.05 for a small pot of tea and a panini. To calm stomach, it was nice to walkabout the Centre as has a number of interesting items not seen elsewhere.

Booked here for a birthday lunch. All the staff were lovely and friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The Cullen Skink was excellent and the cakes and dessert menu was amazing. Cheesecake was YUMMY, thanks Paula. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my wee day out to Caulders Garden Centre. Plus it was also great as we had our two little Shih-Tzu's with us and dogs are allowed into the centre, which is just fantastic if your a dog owner. Great selection of plants, trees, flowers, garden furniture, all different fragranced Yankee candles and so, so much more! Way to much to say in this review. This is why I advise anyone to visit Caulders if they are in Kirkintilloch. Oh nearly forgot, they have the most amazing cafe there too and all the staff are very friendly and helpful if you need any suggestions or ideas 💡. I look forward to my return visit. 5 stars 💫.

This a busy eating place at Calders Garden Centre. There is a good choice of food whether you just want coffee and cake, or a light lunch, or something more substantial. The food is tasty and served hot, and there is a good choice of homemade scones, cakes and tray bakes. The staff for the most part are efficient and helpful, when it's busy you find out how many tables are squeezed in, there's room to manoeuvre, but it's tight in places! If in the area it is well worth checking out, have a wander around the garden centre and the fab Xmas shop!

Can highly recommend the Pecan Caramel Shortcake which melted in my mouth but that is just one of many delights on offer.Staff are always helpful and friendly. Make sure you book if its a special weekend its very popular with locals too.

In early November phoned the Kirkintilloch branch enquiring about bare root plants, spoke to the manager who was going to speak with their suppliers but never received a call back. A couple of weeks later went to branch to follow it up and was advised to fill in a a customer enquiry form but never received a call back. Wanted to buy local to support local business through these difficult times but have ended up buying online.
