S. L.Garry has helped me out for many years (around 15). He first came to cut my grass but now maintains the whole garden, to high standard, for me. I have a pond which he has restored to good condition and cleans out regularly. He has done a number of maintenance jobs for me and I have found him utterly trustworthy and reliable. I have no hesitation in recommending him. He takes ONE (short) holiday a year!
A. M.I have known Garry Cox since 1999 when he moved my garden plants/bushes to my new address - and usually monthly since that time. I have always found him to be honest, polite, good humoured and hardworking, and Garry knows his job.
Over the years Garry has done a variety of jobs including:
- Replaced old fencing with new and kept them in tiptop condition.
- Dug borders and planted a variety of plants, bushes and small trees.
- And he has helped me with various greenhouse fruit and veg 'adventures'.
- He has also helped me to indulge my fondness for potatoes - having planted them and harvested them for me.
- Garry has also put in two ponds. One years ago for wildlife and now one for frogs, pond plants and wildlife - he is a stickler for detail.
Garry keeps my garden in an excellent condition, including grass cutting bush pruning and whatever else is required to keep things up to scratch.
Recommended.
M. M.OK, but could not really recommend.
Turf install initially delayed by an understandable staff issue, but I'd already taken the day off.
Turf over-ordered by approx 30-40%. We gave it to our neighbours and they covered a large section of garden.
Turf now is patchy, even in the section fenced (as part of the job) to keep dogs out most of the time. Turf is thin in large parts of the garden - even the non-dog side. Following further discussion, Garry offered to come round, but never attended.
Grass shows little/no tolerance for dogs, so suspect no consideration was given to this - even though dogs were present and making themselves known at all stages of consult/install. Some stroking was involved!
We obtained mountains of topsoil in advance, but not much was used.
From what was said, I suspect the holiday schedule was slightly more important than the work schedule. If you have a lot of holidays, why take on 'too much work'?
J. G.Gary always turns up when he says he will. Quotes are always spot on. Jobs carried out within the time scales agreed. Totally trustworthy.
Always get a really good job done. We have used GMC a number of times and will happily continue to do so.
