N. C.Great place for all your gardening needs, such an extensive range. The cafe is good and has a decent menu, but a bit expensive
A. M.Pleasant nursery/garden centre with a good range of shrubs, bedding plants and seeds, together with accessories, tools, garden furniture etc. Plant prices seem generally competitive with the national retailers. Haven't visited the cafe.
My only real issue is the vehicular access. Leaving the site involves crossing a footpath which is also a cyclepath. Access from the unmade car park to the highway is on a compound incline. This is a rare case where I would actually welcome a reduction in the speed limit (currently 60mph).

D. E.This garden centre should not be missed. There are so many lovely plants, everything for the garden. Indoor plants and such nice pots, all at good prices. A really nice cafe too, where u can have a coffee and snack before shopping away to your hearts delight .

A.This is now my favourite place to come for lunch, the staff are lovely. The atmosphere and seating areas are very pleasant whether inside or outside, however, the stand out winner is the beautiful food and the chefs who make it possible! If you like vegetarian options then I would highly recommend the couscous, halloumi and sun-dried tomato stuffed muchrooms. Thankyou to all the staff.
J. L.Lovely little garden centre, used to visit regularly a few years ago but moved out of the area, was passing today so popped in, it seems to have expanded, lots more to see, lots more choice. Bought several bits. And enjoyed tea and cakes on the lawn!!!

A. W. (.This is a medium sized garden centre operating fully to covid restrictions. We have bought a fair few plants and trees from them over the years. About a quarter of the store in garden tools and ornaments.
It would be great if they could display some of their own personalised guidance on the plants they have available as I think this would help the store feel more engaging for customers.
Generally the team are friendly and helpful. It would be great to be able to get hold of someone for advice as dont want to hold check outs up with questions.

J. P.Fantastic service and really lovely genuine people!! I bought an arbour last week from them and unfortunately it came delivered with two seat backs instead of one seat back and one actual seat part. I phoned Phoebe whom I had spoken to several times (she put up with me calling her Stevie without complaint!!!) to let her know and the very next day, someone (sorry I don't know your name) actually drove down to my house with the correct part and a lovely Fuschia plant by way of an apology!!! I'm so impressed with this company and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Roots and Shoots to anyone.and everyone. Many thanks to all for your incredibly swift and over and above service! Jane :-)
J. M.We bought our Christmas tree from here and it’s the best looking tree we’ve had, excellent value too. Staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. Will definitely be back lots in the spring/summer to buy garden plants and flowers 😁
